The kids had already scooted up into there chairs. Ayira pulled a chair beside seto and sat down. Rei hadtaken lunch meat out of the fridge. She put some on two plates for the kids with slices of bread. Before she made them sammiches but she noticed they just pulled them apart so this was easier. She set the plates infront of thekids and they chowed down. "Do you care what kind of meat you get?" she asked seto already knowing what ayira liked.

Seto seemed startled to be spoken to-- but he shook his head at Rei's offer. "I've eaten already." He needed surprisingly little to sustain himself through the day-- when work with the palace overwhelmed him, he could go a day without eating and not even notice. He couldn't help but smile mentally. The day he had confessed his feelings to Ayira was on one of those days, when he was too busy getting ready for a celebration to notice his own health. Luckily she had been paying attention.

"He'll have the same as me." Ayira said with a smile. Even still she watched out for him. Rei made two ham sammiches and set them on thetable for the two. She then started to make own sammich.

"Stubborn woman." Seto said, shaking his head a little, but joined her at the table. "I was serious, though. I've eaten today already. After we got off the..." He paused, searching for the word. He couldn't come up with it, which surprised him-- he was usually good with languages. "Once I got off the giant flying... thing... with the Ishtar family."

"The plane" Rei said and set a jar of pickles on the table. Ayira smiled "you should eat more than once a day." she said biting into her sammich.

"I'm fine as I am." Seto said, examining the food carefully before taking a hesitant bite. "I once became too used to palace life with food always offered. When I had to leave for a little while-- a month or two-- the hunger surprised me. So I have to make sure I'm always prepared to adjust to whatever situations I find myself in."

Ayira sighed and reached up kissing him on the cheak. "Twice a day wont hurt."

"You're so stubborn." Seto said kiddingly, taking a hold of Ayira’s hand and squeezing slightly. This little moment was interrupted by the front door banging open and Bakura, followed by a cold gust of wind, entering the house. Bakura slammed the door shut and stormed into the bathroom. The wind had whipped his hair around and he looked even more wild than usual.

Rei blinked. She followed bakuraand stood at the door of the bathroom "Bakura you ok?"
"Yea" ayira said and smiled.

Bakura didn't respond to Rei in the least until he had washed his hands very thoroughly, getting rid of the blood that had previously stained them. Only when he was finished did he look up at her, and pull out a wallet from his pocket. "Here. It has money in it." Bakura didn't carry a wallet of any kind-- he had clearly attacked someone on the way home.

Rei let out a soft sigh as she took the wallet. It was ovious where he had got it "Bakura whats wrong?" She asked looking up to him.

"I don't belong in this world. I don't like being a person." Bakura hissed, in a low voice. "I'm always confused as to whether or not I prefered always having a goal--to kill the pharaoh--or whether I'm better off living day-to-day life with no reward in mind."

Rei let out a sigh "I know you dont belong..none of us really belong here..but...I..dont know what to do.." Rei said tears comming to the corner of her eyes. She worked so hard to keep everybody happy and to keep everybody helthy and continue to give them a place to stay. It was taking alot out of her and everyday she became more and more exsausted no matter how much she refused to show it.

Bakura took a hold of Rei's head and kissed her rather firmly on her forehead. "I don't expect for you to do anything. I'm just a little off. I have my own ways of taking care of my problems. Sometimes that involves killing random people. And being alone. It's jus who I am."

Rei sighed and smiled softly "alright..." She sighed agian as she heard the twins yelling at each other. She knew it was hard for them aswell. They wernt used to being cooped up inside a house. She leaned up and gave bakura a small kiss before heading into the kicthen to clean up and entertain the kids.
