Seph hesitated shaking herself a little to get rid of the dizzyness before charging up to a knight then jumping onto him to use as a springboard to catch up to the others "This is a battlefield, theres always going to be risks and stuff" she pointed back calling back to him as she dashed past Barbaros and dug her claws into a blackmage.
Alpha hesitated stepping out in front of the building and releasing his firey breath to line the nearest untouched trenches with flames. "If that don't get them, the smoke will force them out" he stated satisfied with his work. he then rummaged around in his bag looking for a grenade of some sort. "It's not often in this day and age you'll find such an innocent relationship"
Hebal nodded cheerfully taking the potion back from Gil "It is a bit but anyway point is just don't mess her around and everything will be all fine and dandy except for the whole battle thing we have going on right now" she chirped now offering the potion to Mari. "Most of them don't seem to be able to move forward but the majority of the others still stuck back there are good with ranged abilities anyway"

Felina nodded pointing her finger at Jenna causing a small green barrier to completely cover her and her chocobo "That should do the trick. It won't let any blades and bullets through and things but it will let your weapon out if you wish to strike anyone" she explained to her before turning to kiss Oassu back before he planned on moving "Don't you get cosmetics now, I think your look perfect with or without that scar"
Satoshi ducked down charging towards the trenches making sure to pick her shurikens up on the way before jumpng down into the trench next to Mari "You guys might want to clear this place soon. It's one of the few trenches that isn't being flooded out or set on fire" she advised them putting her shurikens away then drawing out her katana to neatly slice through a knight.
Hayate slowly nodded his head taking in the information that Jenna had taken in "I never knew there were major differences but the thought of my house being destroyed by this battle has just come up in my mind" he sighed forming a barrier in front of himself before advancing his way forward past the next couple of buildings.

Itaka sighed shaking his head "I suppose your right," he said jamming his blade into the turret controls disabling it while Barbaros beat up the engineer who was manning it. "Listen to your woman Itaka she's telling the truth" he said winking at him.
Jenna turned away from Oassu and Felina leaping onto Boco without a word before charging out and over the trenches in her bullet-proof barrier.
Oassu frowned looking after Hayate "Is he off to check on his house or something?" he asked before turning to give Felina a kiss "Thanks Felina" he smiled giving her face a light stroke "Still I'll keep it scar free from now on" he said winking at her before rushing towards the entrenchments.
Zadina scratched his head "I thought there'd be plenty of innocent people and relationships out there" he said risking a peek out now that the gun fire had died down. "It's the same with Seph and Itaka after all." he shrugged.
Gil smiled "I have no intention on messing anyone around it's been ages since I've had a date so I want to keep this relationship as long as possible" he said happily waving to Satoshi as she arrived in the trenches "Right we'll move out of here soon" he said.
Mari nodded taking the potion and downing it happily "Thanks Hebal, we'll totally finish up here soon Satoshi it seems like the biggest fight is further ahead, these are just the defences anyway" she said rending a knight's shield in two before cutting a massive line in him killing him outright.

Seph smiled taking her claws out of the black mage then used stop on a gunman who was aiming at Itaka and Barbaros about to pull the trigger. "cheer up Itaka nobody is dying out of our lot and your doing great" she told him with a wink before spinning back round to finish off the man she stopped.
Hebal smiled patting Gil on the shoulder "Thats good to know. Hehe she liked your cute little doggy too" she told giggled bending down to pet Enkidu. "Make sure your master doesn't make a fool out of himself" she whispered to Enkidu then stood up and kicked back a white mage "hiya Satoshi we'll clear our soon"
Alpha glanced over briefly at Itaka and Seph having to squint while he eventually found the grenades he was looking for "Don't use Seph and Itaka as an example. What you and Itaka don't know is its that season for demons to do you know... stuff. Anyway we're being left behind" he added indicating for Zadinato try and move forward.

Felina sighed slightly annoyed she didn't get so much as a thank you from Jenna then formed a barrier around herself similar to the one she had just used in order to follow Oassu towards the entrenchments "Nah he isn't going to go to his house, he's not that materialistic and is probably just a little worried in case some of the birds didn't get out" she explained.
Hayate nodded looking back at Felina and Oassu "Something like that. I know Adohand would have been able to carry most the birds out of here before the battle started but the chocobo egg on the other hand I am not so sure of. Still I am not going to run away to check, would make me look bad" he concluded advancing further forward.
Satoshi waved back at Gil waiting for her clone to jumo down next to her "Good then but I get the feeling this battle may decided the outcome of what happens to this city so no screw ups right" she told them as both her and her clone took a deep breath and sent a fireball back down the trench.

Itaka grinned taking in the smell of the battlefield "Good things thats done and I am doing great" he said as the turret exploded behind him. "Your no slouch yourself" he said winking at Seph in return.
"Hey! Itaka what about me!" Barbaros whined throwing the unconcious turret mechanic away.
Oassu nodded "I hope that egg is ok it'd be a terrible shame" he said leaping over the flooding apartments to the now smoking ruins of the turret.
Gil nodded "Don't worry we won't screw up here, not when there's justice to be exacted" he growled lifting himself out of the turret with Enkidu bounding after him.
Mari nodded dispatching the white mage Hebal knocked down "Right this place is clear lets move on" she said pulling herself out.
Jenna vaulted the flooded trenches launching a javelin at one of the remaining gunmen "Alright we're done here we can move onto the main city center now!" she said happily.
Zadina shivered "ewwwwww gross you demons have seasons?" he said as he stepped out from behind the rubble and started moving on.

Alpha rolled his eyes scooping up Zadina with his hands "Don't you eww me. Bear in mind that demons are basically the more evolved fiends. But I'll tell you a tiny secret about it all if you promise not to say anything" he answered running up towards the trenches then leaped over to the other side. "We aren't behing now" he grinned putting the kid back down and brushing himself off.
Seph laughed moving over to Barbaros to reach up and pat him on the shoulder "I am sure Itaka appreciates your efforts very mucg but didn't say anything to try and make you work even harder" she joked pouncing onto a dragoon "It would be hard to be a slouch when I have someone like you to keep me on my toes" she added to Itaka wrestling with the soldier.
Hebal grinned saluting both Gil and Mari before jumping out from the turret with them "Hehe I didn't mean here silly" she told Gil patting him once on the shoulder then hopped away from him shooting a laser out of one of her eyes and directed it towards a thief sneaking around the area.

Felina hesitated assessing the distance she would need to jump. She then took a few steps back to take a run and jump over the trenches. "It would be such a shame if the baby chocobo egg was blown up by these soldiers. I like chocobos" she agreed with Oassu stumbling as she landed
Satoshi's clone disappeared with a fizz while the real Satoshi teleported out of the trenches and to the other side "Ok Mari we'll get moving but theres no need to rush. If we do we might fail to spot a rather sneaky Neliel" she pointed out blocking a knight's blade.
Hayate grunnted hopping over the trenches with ease followed by a bunch of other elves "It will probably be fine since its out of the main streets assuming it wasn't taken away" he reassured Oassu and himself before turning and casting fira at a monk who had attempted to kick him in the back.

Oassu grinned "Yea plus Zadina wants to take one home to Alusaadi, but I suppose we can count on Boco and Chobi for that" he said winking at Boco who kwehhed confused.
Jenna whacked him across the back of the head "Don't you be encouraging my boy now, he's gotta stay focused on the battle and doesn't need thoughts of chobi distracting him" she scolded Oassu.
Itaka smiled thrusting his sword through the sides of the soldier wrestling with Seph "Seph, it's adorable to think you can even TRY to compete with a warrior of my caliber" he said with a smirk wiping a drop of blood off his chest.
Barbaros sighed "Whatever Itaka, don't push Seph the wrong way like I said she'd probably rip you apart" he said checking on his cannon to see if it could fire yet.
Zadina nodded "More evolved fiends sounds harsh but I don't get your point" he said as he got his feet back "But whats the secret Cap'n alpha huh?!" he asked eagerly.
Gil raised an eyebrow confused by what Hebal meant slightly "She's an odd one" he remarked walking up to the others. Mari giggled stepping up beside him "Yea she is but thats why we love her so" she said walking over to Satoshi "Yeah we need to keep our eyes and ears open in case Neliel tries a dishonourable sneak attack again." she said cutting through the torso of the knight Satoshi blocked smoothly "Keep an eye out Hebal, Neliel attacked you last!" she warned Hebal.

Seph smirked picking herself up off the knight "Heh if you keep talking like that I'll have to either give you a good whack or wrestle with you to prove you wrong she tutted reaching up and tapping his nose "If you remember you almost got beat by me once before" she added withdrawing her tail and swinging around to slice through an assassin who had been creeping up on her.
Alpha scratched his head debating whether or not he was going to tell Zadina afterall. "The secret is I have to use medicine and stuff to stop some of the seasonal effects... unlike Seph because the instincts are stronger in males" he told the elf deciding in the end not to tell him what was in Seph's medicine that he knocked over.
Hebal frowned glancing across the battlefield "Hey, I am so not odd. I am just unique" she pouted attempting to produce an aqua breath but only managed to release a few harmless bubbles. "Hmm ok that attack needs waaay more practice but I won't let Neliel get to me" she smiled biting into a monk's arm before digging her spear in.

Felina laughed petting Boco on the beak briefly "I wonder if he can tell what we are saying. Still do you think he even likes Chobi as more than a friend" she whispered quietly to Oassu to avoid getting in trouble with Jenna. She then blinked and formed a barrier in above the heads of her and Oassu as a dragoon tried to land on them.
Hayate smirked leaning in closer to Oassu and Felina also to stop Jenna from hearing. "If you want chocobos to breed that badly I hear Zeo nuts are very good at encouraging it and Zeo nuts increase your chances of getting a gold" he whispered to them taking a few steps away from them to fire an arrow into the landing dragoon.
Satoshi smiled kicking back another knight and throwing a shuriken into his neck killing him instantly "Hehe you are a little odd in a cool way Hebal. My eyes are open and my ears are sort of listening out. Since I am also talking to you lot" she added with a small laugh taking a few steps back "Well we can move again since the others seem to be here now"

Oassu frowned gazing into Boco's eyes trying to get an understanding of the chocobo "No clue I don't know what he's thinking or anything about chocobos" he sighed leaping up and sliding his knives in between the gaps in the Dragoon's armour.
Jenna grumbled "Boco isn't being put out to stud anytime soon" she said patting Boco who reared up and blasted another dragoon trying to jump on her.
Gil nodded "We will get going as soon as Hayate gives us the word to move on, he's our boss after all" he said ducking to the side after another Dragoon landed bringing his swords down on the back of the Dragoon's neck.
Itaka grinned "The key word there being ALMOST still if you want to wrestle I'd take a tumble with you anyday" he said bringing his blade down on a knight.
Barbaros groaned "Ugh lovebirds" he muttered walking off to club a poor gunman who was hiding behind a rock.
Zadina nodded giggling slightly "Oh Alpha you need someone nice to suit you" he said "Maybe you could meet someone you love at the party" he suggested brightly
Mari laughed at Hebal slicing through a knight's sword before cutting him to ribbons "Don't worry all your other abilities are Super awesome Hebal!" she said poking a bubble causing it to pop.

Seph turned away from Itaka so that he wouldn't see her blush "Thats not a good thing you know. Especially with me claws" she eventually called back warping away a beastmaster and his Zu. "Anyway let's just move on and don't push your luck" she added shaking her head to return to her normal colour.
Alpha hesitated punching a blackmage in the stomach then set his robes on fire but allowed him to run away in panic "Umm maybe not at the party, I may have taken my medicine but it will still cloud my judgement" he quickly explained.
Hebal smiled and nodded at Mari "Yeah I am like super strong" she boasted cheerfully and stuck her tongue out at Gil while flexing her muscles. "But fine we'll be boring and wait for Mr. Hayate's orders like good little soldiers" she added raising her spear to defend herself from an oncoming knight.

Felina laughed dropping the barrier once the dragoon had been finished off "Hehe I can tell your no chocobo knight expert person. I wonder if Hebal can tell us what she is saying in the same way she can with Cid" she pondered casting holy to counter an Agrlaian white mages holy spell.
Satoshi yawned impatiently before casually creating a thick barrier of water in front of her to protect her from an oncoming cluster of arrows "Nothing wrong with being a good little soldier for once. Hey Hayate can we move yet" she called over the crowd to the elf.
Hayate sighed and slowly nodded digging his knife into the throat of a thief sneaking about behind him "Sure go on ahead, at the end of the day you guys are independent from my unit so technically you can do as you please" he shouted back having to pull hard to get the kinfe back out.

Itaka grinned putting his arms around Seph brushing up against her tail "Aww are you blushing? You don't need to comments like that are allowed now that we're an item" he said reaching out to stab an oncoming guard while keeping his arms around Seph.
Oassu smiled "That would be interesting but Hebal can't really speak rabbit, just tell what he's feeling" he said moving on up the street. "I should play more with him" he said scratching his chin "I hope he's alright on the ship" he sighed.
Jenna galloped on past the others bowling through a group of guards blocking the road to the high street they visited earlier.
Gil nodded "Hayate is commanding the unit, it wouldn't do for us to go crazy in case we messed up some of his major plans but since he's given us the go ahead lets just finish this" he said cutting down a knight that stood in his path as he ran towards the next area.
Zadina shrugged "ok Cap'n Alpha but I'm sure a good man like you could get a nice elf" he concluded casting leap on himself allowing him to jump right over the muddy ruins of the statue.
Mari stepped in front of the knight charging Hebal and swiftly slicing through him sending a shockwave that destroyed a column 10 feet behind the knight. "Relax Hebal we don't have to be good little soldiers anymore" she said winking at her before skipping off into battle.
