"He is isn't he?" Yamato tilted his head. "Wonder what in your soul made such a small one..."
Cain frowned and hovered in place.
"What? Murder? Do you not think you'll have to kill me to save the world? Do you not think you'll have to kill him to finally set your friend free from his torment?" He jerked his thumb at Yamato. "It is a hard fate you will have Devon. Why not just help me and be on the stronger side?" He looked at Devon solemnly.

Tohru huffed then smiled sweetly.
"I don't appreciate being used is all." Devon shrugged. "That's why."

"Quite." Yamato grinned. "You've impressed Cain. That's hard."
Cain continued to stand still, not making noise.
The Fool returned his gaze to the fight. "I wouldn't use you. You wouldn't be some morality pet to me, unlike Kai. I would let you reach your potential. And then we'd get rid of all the annoying people together. You'd have to put up with that thing for a while, but eventually, he'd vanish too."

Tohru swung the cord on his microphone around, swaying gently.
Devon scoffed. "I don't have any reason to believe you. I'm sure you said the same thing to Yamato."

Cain rustled his cape and laughed.
"Actually I just asked him if he'd be interested in killing you all. He joined me, no questions asked." The Fool smiled.

Tohru pouted at him and swished his mouth to the side.
"Well, why would you ask me something like that, huh?! Why not Ringo, or Kana, or somebody else? Why do you all assume I'm the one feeling the evil love?"

Yamato laughed. "Oh yeah. The whole blind thing."
Cain landed lightly on the ground and set down his sword, which was sucked into the ground before pointing an arm at Tohru and charging darkness.
Fool looked at Ringo, then back at Devon. "Did you seriously just ask me that?"

Cain vanished and appeared right in front of Tohru, launching his darkness ball.
"That is true, but then again, who is on your team?" He looked at Ringo and Teddie. "Not them for sure."

Cain tried to back off, but got whipped, snarling he surrounded Tohru with dark runes.
