Finally! A Saturday!
Billy raced off campus, determined to try and at least enjoy part of the day before another crisis reared its ugly head. He had knocked on Teddy's door but there had been no answer so he made a quick tour around campus and still no luck.
"Dammit."
{i]That trip to New Cronus really messed up his plans to get together with him. He opted for a snack so Blackhawks it was!
He opened the door and well...whaddya know?
"CRAP!"
Pity Billy tripped en route to the counter to place his order and went down in front of a group of giggling onlookers!
Yep! Mr. Smooth! That's him!

x _______________________________________________ "Another new member? Or me?" Sometimes, Teddy was a little slow and had a hard time drawing conclusions. He realized this as a flaw, and therefore always asked for clarification, no matter how dumb it made him sound. "I'm glad though either way. I bet it could be ...fun." And, Teddy's mind added for him, A great way to meet girls. Or gay dudes. Immediately he tried to unthink that last thought, but to no avail. It had already happened. Oh well, he'd just pretend it didn't for now and stomp it down later in the privacy of his own dorm room.
"Oh man, how weird was the other night? At the diner I mean. I don't even know what was going on, but once that music started playing, everything went weird. I wound up kissing Billy Kaplan, would you believe it?" Teddy chuckled, "But that seems to be his thing, hit on the straight jocks and get rejected, you know?" Man he felt like a d**k for saying that. He felt like an even larger d**k when Billy came hurtling through the door, crashing on the floor. He should have helped him up, but instead he just stood there, awkwardly.

Heads turned to the sound of the crash, and there was Billy looking absolutely pitiful, having overheard everything.
He had approached Teddy's table to ask him if he felt the same way as he did the other night, but that answered that question.

From the look on Billy's face, he could tell that the boy had overheard him, but it wasn't like he could just take that statement. LOL OMG I AM GAY SORRY. Nope, you couldn't do that. He also couldn't tell him that he had the cutest ears in the school, or that he really wished Billy would stop flitting around flirting with every other dude in the school because it made his heart hurt. So, instead, he just stood there, and finally, he offered him a hand. "Need help?"
Teddy winced at Dani, as if to say, 'Man, this is awkward' without words.

"Thanks. I think I got it."
Maybe it was his mental anguish at this pojtn in time but the tray levitated up in blue light and reassembled itself and into Billy's hands. He turned around and took the tray silently back to the counter to place a fresh order, stealing looks back over his shoulder.

x_______________________________________________ Well, that was easy enough. Right? And Billy even managed to get a spell right and reassemble his tray. Good for him. Good for him.
That didn't make Teddy feel any better about it. "Uh...you want to sit with us Billy?" Teddy had slipped into the seat beside Dani, but the one across from them in the booth was open. But still...oh man why was he running his mouth? This was going to be so awkward!

Then he apologized about the dinner the other night... Was that a date? Did it count if they kissed other people??
"Y'know Teddy, I totally know what you mean about the other night. All that kissing... I wound up kissing a waitress. I didn't even Know her!" sweatdrop Dani tried really hard not to think about that... her soft lips, the smell of her hair, the way she-- OIY!
"Umm it could have just been a proximity thing... people who were close to them got kissed?"
*CRASH!*
Dani gasped when Billy hit the floor really hard.
"Aww Billy. Are you alright?" She patted the table to offer him a seat. "We were just talking about Drama Club..."

SLAM!
Billy slammed the tray back down on the counter and turned around and started to storm out, but stopped long enough to look at Teddy and shoot daggers.
"No, I would not like to sit with you and your date! You played me enough for an idiot already! I thought you were better than the popular kids who treat me like dirt every day! I actually thought your kissing me back meant you liked me, but I guess insulting me behind my back pretty much clears everything up! Thank you very much Teddy for making me feel like a total and complete FOOL!"
Billy storms out of Darkhawks, looking miserable.

Did he even know what he was saying? He was pretty much just laying it out there that Billy should hang out with him even more, and share a dressing room with him. Holy crap he was just asking for it.

And there was his response. He winced as Billy yelled at him, looking sheepishly down at his hands, not able to look up as Billy stormed out.
The problem was, he was different, entirely different, but it didn't help when the boy you liked had a reputation for playing naked time peek a boo in the gym showers. Or that he had hit on any jock that walked past him. Teddy had thought he was just another notch in Billy's belt, but ...maybe not? "Well, that sucked."

Billy stands outside of Darkhawks briefly and looks in the large picture window toward Teddy and sighs. He extends his arms and gathers his magic which surrounds him and he starts to levitate into the air and fly away.
