she pulled on her coat "they were just leaving when they called"
"come on boys... time to get going" she called from the van
he grabbed the ball and handed Nate the keys "you wanna drive?"

"Yeah." He would have been up for almost anything that would keep his mind distracted. He took the keys from Maki and started to walk with him.
He nodded, not really realizing she hadn't answered his question. He headed for the door.

He wrapped his arm around Makis shoulder and walked with him.

"I love you too." He smiled and when they got out side he opened Makis door for him.

He walked around and into the divers seat and started the care. He rested his hand on the center concle, palm up, inviting her to take his hand.
He walked over to the divers side and got in. He put his seatbelt on and started the care waiting for the van to go ahead of them so he could follow.
"Roy, you driving or am I?" He asked his brother.

she smiled and took his hand happily, it felt like they were kids again... sneaking out to meet up with friends like they used to
"You can, I'll sty back here with Erin and the babies"
she got in to the front seat
he smiled some more and buckled up
