He nodded and removed a juicebox from a cabinet, sitting in a chair opposite her. He yawned and took a sip from the bendy straw. "I need your expert advice. We need to find a way to turn Fen's blood back into.. blood, but I can't figure out what her bloodtype is, so that rules out a transfusion. It's all chakra right now. Dark chakra."

Nyl raised an eyebrow. "...How, exactly, does one's body function when all of one's blood has turned into chakra?"

"It acts the same as blood, it flows, it carries oxygen.. it is her blood, just it's more chakra than blood." He paused. "Maybe physical tests will help. I'm only going on visual speculation." He took another sip of his juice.

"Hmm." Nyl drained about half the bottle, lost in thought, before speaking again. "I'm not nearly as familiar with dark chakra as I should be. And whether you know it or not, your 'visual' speculation is some of the best around."
She looked at him again. "And so, I have to ask. ...Glasses?"

Seph blinked, then nodded in sudden realization. He removed them and handed them to her. "Glasses." He confirmed, then leaned back in his chair. "Optometrist in Durem says I have astigmia."

She chose to ignore, for the moment, the fact that he'd gone to an eye doctor in Durem. Instead, she held up the glasses, peering through them.
"...It's gotten worse?" That statement was partially surprised, and partially questioning why.

He nodded again. "Slowly, but steadily." He took another sip. "Fortunately, my eye-doctor is an old friend, so I only have to pay for one pair. He's intrigued by the fact that my eyes are getting worse, so he's giving me free glasses." He smiled.

Nyl looked through his glasses again, frowning in thought. She followed the basic opinion that what she saw, through the lenses, reflected what he was seeing without them. Her vision wasn't perfect, but this...
"At such a rate, though..." She was mumbling to herself, really. "...It's as if you have to lose one, when you have the other..."

She blinked, looking at him when she registered the intonation of a question. "Oh. ...I...I'm just thinking." She handed him his glasses back. "...What would you say if I asked you not to use byakougan for a while?"

Reeve nods, gesturing toward the dormitory hallway as he finishes his paperwork.
" Give this to Nekojiri if you see him before I do, and pick a room that's unlocked down that hall to use as a dormitory. Then, we'll have a preliminary spar to see how much you know, and go from there."
He tears out the paper and hands it to Zane, smiling pleasantly.
