Indeed, the fire did die down though there were very minute sparks still live on the ground. Tutsumi heads back into the circle, sweeping at her feet once more but within a split second taking that crouching position and leading it up into an uppercut. He had already guessed, by trial and error, that Iri would be able to avoid the sweep, but the timing of the punch would at least knock her off her game for a few more seconds.

A blast of wind similar to what Serin had used hit the fireballs, diverting them if not putting them out altogether. Nyl remained where she stood, two new ice knives forming in her hands. She took a defensive stance, waiting.

Seph swallowed the saliva that had gathered in his mouth and rocked back to a sit, setting Fen down on the roof lightly so not to wake her. He turned and stood, pocketing one hand. His other hand hung limply at his side, ijutsu still pouring out of his fingertips and into Fenris.

Serin frowned and then, after receiving some more chakra from time itself, ran at Nyl, creating a bo staff as she came from ice, stopping several inches away and launching several jabs with the tip of the staff. ((Not really XP ))

Iri had jumped back when he fainted the kick to her legs. But seeing as she had already been holding her naginata in front of her, Tutsumi's fist would likely meet the shaft of the weapon. The attack does make Iri a little nervous, though. Tutsumi's starting to pick up on how she works, and once he has her usual routine figured out, she'll have to pull out some dirtier tricks. That's if she gets the chance to do so.

Nyl's face broke into a grin. The knives melded together and lengthened, joining with more ice to become a staff of her own. She parried Serin's attacks and started her own set.
Now, it was only a matter of time.

It's just something to actually keep us talking. Besides, Clow needed to read what I said. XD))
Shifting his hand to the side of the shaft, Tutsumi grips it in his hand and turns his body so that his hip would touch the groove between her legs. Continuing the movement, he pulls the naginata forward and then down as he lifts her up with his hips, onto his back, and then flips her once more. Generally, a weapon would come out of the owners hand after that...but there are some who have been able to keep hold and use it as a way to get back onto their feet without stumbling.
