Embers eyes went back to atem and weakly squeesed back.

"You okay?" Atem asked, hoping that Ember could still nod or shake her head. "You... you remember me, right?"

Ember nodded weakly and squeesed his hand lightly agian.
Erica came in with a pad of paper and a pen "I thought this might help you talk.."

"Thank you." Atem said, nodding his head. He still seemed to be stunned by all of this. He handed Ember the pad and pen. "What is it that you see?"

Atem closed both of his hands over Ember's. "It's okay. Everything will be fine."

Atem sat in silence. How many days had he spent sitting besides her like this, wishing for anything in the world that she would wake up? And why couldn't he think of a single thing to say now?

Embers eyes soon sliped closed then jerkedopen as if she was fighting to keep them open.

Atem found it slightly funny that, after about a year of being in a coma, Ember was sleepy. "You want to sleep?"

Ember looked at him before her eyes slowly sliped closed,her weak and tired body falling asleep.
Soon kawi and yugi were outside the hospital rushing in.

Atem stroked her hair and swept his gaze over the room. He didn't see whatever it was that Ember did. He took the pad from her and read over her words. Dark thing, with glowing eyes? And it seemed to be growing. But the 'it' seemed to be a he. Yugi wasn't a fast runner, with his small legs, but was overly excited to see Ember awake. Atem had been so depressed during all of this time. Maybe he would have his real yami back again!
