[ Noelle ~ Red Rose ~ Hangar ]
Noelle watched Kyla, observing how she hardly responded. She just wasn't going to give them anything, was she? Refused to get close, to trust them with her emotional being--Noelle could understand it, but after a conversation about how she needed to be a part of the team, she just couldn't see why Kyla would choose to close off further. The blonde sighed and shook her head a little bit, glancing over at Kyle as he began to speak. He started off just reviewing information, but quickly delved into a personal affliction. She felt her stomach drop as he showed everyone his arm. All that had happened in Atlantica and Atlantis lead up to this. She wished she had seen it sooner. Then again, what could she have done to help it, or stop it? Noelle remembered Kyle's harsh words and physical attack during the battle in Atlantica. She wasn't so sure he was trusting of her intentions, even if she could help. The hardest part, though, was to hear that he was withdrawing until he could find a solution.
"But . . ." Noelle said weakly, holding her arms close to her chest.
'Human . . . it's the right thing to do.' 'But--! What, is that to say it'd be the right thing to do for me to withdraw, too?! I'm not even sure if I'm--' 'This is different, Human. After what happened between the two of you, you should know better than anyone. You're under threat from someone who is unreliable; however, Kyle has already experienced loss of control to the point of harming you, almost to the point of ending the lives of many innocents, as well as the damage that seal is doing to his body. It's the right thing for him to do.'
Noelle didn't argue, couldn't argue, and looked at Kyle helplessly. He was such an important part of their team--each person present was, really. It would be a struggle to cover for the tactical loss, but even more so for the personal one.

[Kyla: Hangar: Disney]
Impossible. This couldn't be happening. It couldn't be true.
Back in Atlantis Kyla suspected Kyle was dabbling in something that was highly suspect- his appearance- she helped hide that from everyone. Using Paper thin she hide what the lines of power were doing to his and now- there was even MORE going on then she had originally imagined. He was really.. SO desperate he’d do something like that?
But then again who was she to hold him accountable for something like this. They were backed into a corner after all. The only thing she felt was a cold numbness that made her stomach feel sick to her stomach. Worse, knowing now how negativity affected him, Kyla took a few steps back involuntarily. Like somehow some more distance would protect him from what she carried inside.
Flashes of that moment inside the cocoon. His mangled body haunted her. The sensation of splitting and re-sewing flesh tingled like a touchable memory in her skin when she thought about it. This was.. like losing another person. Sure he was with them, in this room, this hangar- but the thought of leaving him behind. Being down yet another person. It was frightening. The final gut wrenching thought for her was why- the possibility of being a liability to the rest of the team.
“- as part of the team, I knew I had to tell you-” he said. As part of the team.
He had to be honest with the danger that came with him being around. Yet here she stood holding her tongue. What if what she was withholding was dangerous too- for everyone? All this time Kyla thought she was acting for the good of everyone, but it seemed now after all this, she hadn’t a clue. Kyle was strong enough to remove himself. Kyla thought she had that same strength- but now…. She took another visible step back, staring at Kyle with crestfallen eyes.. "..y-" " You really.. really mean to leave." Were they really about to lose yet another person?

{James : Disney : Hangar}
James gave a simple nod with a small smile to Riku as he accepted or at least acknowledged his apology. The corsair was definitely feeling a bit better since he had gotten his emotions under control again. He noticed that Kyle seemed to have calmed down too and began explaining more things to bring everyone up to speed. This included the corsair himself to some extent since he had been under Ajora's control and he had no real idea regarding what had happened under the sea at all aside from what Noelle had summarized for him.
It was after that general explanation that things took a turn for the worst as Kyle began to explain the problem he was now having in regards to a strange new addition to his charm as well as getting aid from none other than Seymour, who had now revealed himself, as James knew he would, as not only an enemy, but one of the "fiends of heart" that had been mentioned. It was at that point that Kyle removed the bandages that were covering his left arm to reveal the intricate mark that had started at his hand and had now wrapped all the way up his arm. The corsair wanted to curse, but kept silent as he studied the intricate markings, recognizing the Spiran text. It felt like a brand from a deal with the devil gone awry.
Then the dragoon announced that he was going to be withdrawing from the group for the time being until he could determine if he was actually a threat. This wasn't a decision made lightly, and the corsair was sure that it wasn't being made lightly either. It definitely sucked though, Kyle was their only Light elemental user, the only sure fire weakness to just about any of their foes. To lose him was not only a huge loss strategically, but morally as well. However, the corsair could understand the risks in regards to him staying, especially if what had just happened not more than a few minutes ago was saying anything. The gunner couldn't help but wonder how much of what he had said had effected the dragoon's condition. He didn't know what to say, and he certainly didn't feel like he could judge either...
'It is what it is... Hopefully the situation will be an easy fix and he'll be back with us soon. If the problem with my residual darkness hadn't been fixed so easily I would probably have done the same thing.'
Kyla and Noelle's statements in regards to the situation pretty well summed it up. In the end though, he could tell there was no convincing the dragoon otherwise so there was really no reason to fight it.

[ Amy : Disney : Hanger ]
That would explain why he was grabbing his arm. She couldn't help but agree with Joe that it was a dumb move to accept Seymour's help, if it could be called help, but she didn't mention it. Joe already had, and anything more from her would just be kicking him while he was down. Kyle knew the consequences; he was living with them.
She hoped they didn't have to kill Seymour in order to remove the markings. That guy didn't die, and when he did, he still wasn't dead, and even after you killed his dead self, he didn't die.
"There are a lot of people in the group who are dangerous to each other. Each one of us is a target, as well. I wouldn't mind you staying with the group, personally. It seems to me the danger level can't get any higher regardless of if you're out with us or here with Merlin and Yen Sid. It might even be better to have more rather than less; strength in numbers and all that."

(Dani :: Disney Castle Town :: Hangar)
Dani sighed in relief as the discussion went from Kyla and Louis to more background details over things that had happened previously. She made sure to give a shy smile to Joe in thanks for what he had said. She was finding the talk of replicas quite intersting considering that she could only reconize Ajora and of course her own replica. When Kyle mentioned the fact that she was marked, she felt the memories of the encounter come back. "Not now," Dani thought as she shook her head. "I can't afford to think about Ashley right now. I just have to be thankful that she only gave me the mark on my hand and that it won't really do much to me at this stage."
Dani sighed as Kyle moved onto his thought of withdrawing from the group. As much as she wanted to stop him, it was his decision. She wasn't going to influence him, or anyone, to stay or to leave. It wasn't her style. 'Techically,' Dani mused to herself 'everyone is a threat. I mean we all have powers at our disposal. Besides, the main group has only been together for 7 days. It is a miracle that they can all work together under that short amount of time. Some people, like me, have been around for even less.' Dani looked at the group, unsure of what to say out loud to them.

{Bobbi, Demyx, Zell, Nanaki/RedXIII .:. Disney Castle Town .:. Hangar}
Bobbi was a little excited that the game seemed to catch on, but when she heard that faint chuckle in the back of her head, her excited bouncing stopped for a moment in surprise before immediately resuming.
Oh, you’re back! she thought at the voice as she made note of the introductions. This was the first time she knew of that people were announcing where they came from, and she was kind of pleased to have started that, even if some peoples’ expressions clearly announced their annoyance. As the game devolved into a briefing, Bobbi listened and made note of events she’d missed, though she couldn’t repress a shudder while the Geists were being discussed.
When Kyle continued on to mention the voice in her head—and his head, and Kyla’s head—Bobbi opened her mouth as if to say something and started to step forward, but he’d continued and she just decided to stand there and look serious. She’d kind of wanted to tell the others herself, and could have sworn she’d told Kyle of that want when they’d been talking on the Rose, but, well, now was a perfect time to get the info out, and he seemed to know more about it than she did.
She squirmed a little—okay, more than a little. She squirmed a lot during the discussion and near-argument about Louis. She could see where everyone was coming from; Kyla’s want to protect and help Louis, Riku’s want to protect the group and fix the worlds, Kuro’s want to help any Earthling in distress. Even Louis’ want to, maybe, if she understood correctly, be whole again. Having lived through a broken heart herself, she knew that feeling intimately. But at the same time, could they justify risking the fate of several worlds for one person?
I’ll do what I can for you, she promised. I swear it. But we have entire worlds to think about. Can you understand that? How the needs of the many can outweigh the needs of the few? I know it’s a tough pill to swallow, but as I’m sure you know, spending time in my head, I’m a stubborn b***h. I’ll save everyone, even if I have to die trying. That means you, too, Louis.
Although the really frustrating thing for Bobbi was that she had to wall off the press of everyone else’s emotions, and force herself to stay calm enough to make that decision. Thankfully, the group came to a truce, and the archer let out a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding, and she focused on what Kyle was saying again. Her jaw dropped a little when she saw the seal on his arm, and one hand reached out, part of her aching to fix it. But an instant later, her hand dropped to her side, and she clenched it in a fist. Kyle knew what he was doing; he wouldn’t thank her for interfering, and he’d already chosen the best course of action. She’d have done the same, really. Amy did sum up her feelings on the matter pretty well, though. Strength in numbers, blah blah blah.
Zell’s sharp whistle nearly in her ear made Bobbi start, squeak, and place a hand to the base of her throat where she could feel her heart beating a thousand miles a minute. She was this close to punching him, just as revenge for scaring her half to death.
”That’s a lot to take in,” the conductor said, quite seriously. ”You kids have been pretty busy. But don’t worry, Kyle; if Merlin and Yen Sid can’t figure out any of that seal stuff, I bet they know who can and point you in the right direction.”
"Just so long as you come back to us as soon as you can," Bobbi added, still trying to calm her racing heart. "And for God's sake, holler if you need any of us."

[ Daniel ~ Shinra Headquarters ~ Shinra's Office ]
Immaculate. The Turk wondered if Shinra's office complex was somehow resistant to dust. Not to say Daniel was impressed, but it sure would have been nice if his own private quarters dusted themselves every now and then. The quarterdeck served as a waiting area and entryway into Shinra's office, guarded and managed by the lone secretary.
The plaque sitting upon her desk read "Stephanii". She did not seem to be the same girl as last time, but she did carry the same hurried and stressed expression. Daniel took a moment to work up a smile and make an entrance. Shuffling up to the counter, the Turk leaned in, relaxed. The assistant did not turn to acknowledge him.
"Man! He always seems to call me when I am at my busiest--"
Daggers. Daniel jerked back, briefly worried for his own life."I'm so sorry, we wouldn't want things to be hard for you now would we? I'll just tell President Shinra that you would rather he wait, and you can go back to your little pet projects---""Woah, woah!--- ok, I get it, my bad..." Daniel tettered away, shaken "I'm sorry... "
He glanced at the door to the President's office, then back to her.
"please let Shinra know I am here..."
Stephanii briefly starred, eyes narrowing. She seemed ready to continue the attack until suddenly the secretary whipped around, once again fixated on her computer, tack tack tacking away at her spreadsheets.Smooth.Daniel's shoulders visibly sagged
Can't always get it right... Some people will just snap at anything! I'm sure it helps if you use the right words~The Turk wondered briefly if she had forgotten to announce his arrival, but soon she picked up the intercom;"Mr. Shinra, Daniel is here as you requested.""Send him in,"Here we go...
---
Daniel nodded respectfully to his mentor as they traded places, doors closing behind him. "Thank you for arriving so expediently, I hope I didn't wake you,"CEO of Shinra corp, President Rufus Shinra sat waiting expectantly behind his desk. He gestured for Daniel to sit, which he did immediately. The Turk took a moment to think his words out, desiring to avoid the same mistake twice, however Shinra cut right to the chase; "Have a seat, I'm told you had a very rough morning."Daniel's brow furrowed, eyes visibly darkening. 'Rough' was an understatement. Standard operating procedure had been turned on it's head.

[??? : Disney Castle town : Inside Bobbi]
There was a short silence, as the girl noticed his presence, before the male voice returned cheerfully, "Oh, hi! Sorry, did I bother you?" similar to the feel of the charms, she could almost feel the presence of the boy as though beside her, blurry imagery of his shape dancing across her minds eye.
The introductions and explanations continued, in her mind, the young man's voice musing and chuckling at various moments before things got serious and he went quiet. As arguments grew close and battle lines felt drawn, the figure had only one thing to say, "Damn... whoever this Louis guy is... he's screwed. Looks like he pissed everyone off. 'Cept for the bookish girl and the pirate dude... uh... I'm terrible with names."
Bobbi's comment caught him a bit off guard. He whispered to himself, though clearly audible in the girl's mind, "Who is she talking to? Wait... is Louis here too? Maybe she's talking to herself..." his tone changed, addressing the girl, "Um, Bobbi, er, did I get that right? Mind if I ask, but would you really kill this Louis guy? Kill is kinda a strong word. I mean, have you killed someone before? I don't think it'd be easy to pull the trigger and put a bullet in someone's head... well, psychologically speaking... physically it's pretty easy, just aim and pull, the gun does the rest. Little bit of hand eye coordination and you're pretty well off... long as the gun isn't too big, then you have to compensate for the kick... um... oh right, killing. Yeah, so, is this whole thing really okay with you? Killing someone...?"

(Whoa, hello there >uO;; ) [Jenny :: Red Rose :: Hangar ]
Her head hurt. It had been hurting for a while now and Jenny was well aware of the source. The surrounding emotions crashed like a monsoon against the walls of her head. Everyone's song seemed to cry out bitterly in her mind, as if competing to see which could be the loudest. Instead, it created a cacophony of discord. Shut up. She wanted to say, as if that would stop the onslaught but she knew better than that. It wasn't their vocalization that was plaguing her. It was their warring emotions within themselves. Something she could clearly hear from where she sat far against the wall... as far as she could possibly position herself. She thought she had learned to manage everyone's songs... oh, how wrong she was.
She clamped her hands over her ears, thinking that she might find solace in the physical action of impairing her ability to perceive sound. But no, the clash of melodies echoed ever clearly in her mind as if the orchestra sat mere inches away from her.
"Ughh..." The mage grumbled softly to herself, shifting her body so that she could shove her head into her knees. She hadn't felt this miserable since... since she got there. Yeah, there was a new person, that much she caught between the throbbing pains in her head. Yeah, he was going to think she was crazy but at that moment in time, she could care less."Kyle may be leaving..." Siren commented, her voice a soft whisper. Jenny lifted her head slightly, just enough to peer through the frazzled strands of her hair. She watched the group, as emotion continued to wage war inside her. She couldn't deny her feelings but she was beginning to question how much of what she felt was her own. Already, she was battling her own feelings regarding Louis. She had confided in him... Now Kyle was leaving, and a new surge of sadness washed over the time mage. Jenny bit down on her lip before burying her face back into her knees and for the first time in a while, she thought of home and how wonderful it'd be if none of this had happened.

[[HAAAAAI JENNY 8D I'm just gonna go along with the fact that if Kyle/Sora/Riku haven't noticed you over there so far, they might not notice you just yet, either]]
[ Kyle, Sora, Riku : Disney : Hangar ]
"I knew it was a stupid idea when I accepted it. It was the only provided option, and the closest thing to a guarantee we had," Kyle said with a light shrug. The fact that nobody was suddenly degrading him in anger boosted his morale more than he was comfortable admitting. Indeed, his entire air seemed to grow less tense. "If you'd seen what we were up against--and I could show you, if you're interested--you'd understand what I mean. The merfolk had no standing army. They depended on the Trident, which had been stolen. I'd thought it was less than a dozen of us against hundreds."
"Needs of the many over the needs of the few. I'd do it all over again if I thought it made a difference. Found out the next morning that the citizens had rallied up. Feel pretty foolish now, honestly," he said, scratching the back of his head--with his right hand, notably.
"Well, yeah, why wouldn't they?" Sora asked, confused. "Their world was under attack."
Kyle simply pursed his lips and shrugged again. He didn't want to answer that question honestly. Bringing up Earth hurt enough; there was no need to diss the dead population and their complacency. "Just wasn't expected."
When Kyla spoke up, he noticed she was taking steps away--and immediately began waving his hands in front of him, as if proclaiming innocence. "Hey, it's only temporary--and besides, it's not contagious!"
He paused, looking down in suspicion at his arm. "I think." His dress sphere immediately wrapped the arm back up in the cloth wrapping, matching his right arm. He snorted, mostly to himself. "Besides, if there's anywhere in the world that will be able to help, it's this place. I'm sure it won't be more than a day or two!"
It was Amy's response that snagged him. His head immediately cocked, like a confused dog, as he thought about what she'd said. He blinked--a few times, really--before scratching his head again, more sheepishly. "I, uh... hadn't thought about it like that. Huh. Well, now I feel kinda silly. I guess we'll leave it up to the Wise Ones--they'd know more about this than me, obviously. If they say I'm good for duty, well hell, count me back in."
"That's the spirit!" Sora said with a grin, fist pumping. "Besides, if you left, then who'd talk everyone's ears off? Leader man over there?"
"Pfffffffffffft," was the only sound to come out of Kyle's lips as he withheld his laughter; even Riku seemed to chuckle a bit as the mood improved.

[Joe: Disney: Hangar]
Well, there went Joe's concern right out the metaphorical window. Now, instead of biting his lip, his face was scrunched up in mild frustration thanks to the combined efforts of Sora and Kyle.
"Hey! I didn't do too horribly just now!" He crossed his arms over his chest, muttering to himself, "I can't help it if grunts express more about me than words can, usually..." He wasn't really that frustrated, or hurt, by the hint of a smile on his lips and in his eyes, but he played it up a little anyway.

[ Joe : Disney : Hanger ]
Joe shrugged and let out an audible sigh. Truthfully, he understood the logic behind Kyle's choice well enough and he didn't really hold it against him, but he still felt like there were other factors Kyle should have taken into account before making a gamble that created a short term benefit at the cost of a massive long term uncertainty.
The dragoon was right however, Joe wasn't there and couldn't make a decision based on hindsight alone. If he were in that position, he could very well have made the same choice. As good as it made him felt sometimes, he needed to avoid thoughts like that if he was going to work with these people.
He was about to respond to Kyle when he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. Off to the side of the group there was a girl. Short, brown haired, a bit older looking then him, and very clearly in pain. She was clutching her face into her knees and looked like a general wreck.
Joe had no idea what was wrong with her, but he empathized. As a frequent sufferer of migraine headaches, he new what it was like to be in a group while your head felt like it was being hit by a power drill.
"Sure Kyle, I'll take a look. Just give me a minute" he said before walking over to the girl and asking in a tone that was much softer and more quiet.
"Hey, are you alright? You look like you're not feeling well."

[Anthony ~.~ Disney ~.~ Hangar]
If there was one other thing that made Anthony feel more nauseous than being on a rocking boat out in sea it was teleportation. Something about dematerializing and having your atomic configuration instantaneously travel to another location before being reconstructed could get a guy to talk to God on the great white telephone...
It had been awhile since Anthony had stepped out of the restroom on the Red Rose. By that time, the ship had long been docked. The knight made his way out of the ship and noticed most of the group had already done the same. He approached a group of them consisting of Sora, Riku, Kyle, James, Joe, Kyla, Amy, Dani, Bobbi, Noelle, and some guy he didn't recognize. ((sorry if I forgot anyone)) He noticed some of the group looked kinda down and realized someone must've delivered some bad news.
"Did... did someone die?" he asked, shifting his eyes from one side of the group to the other.

{James : Disney : Hangar}
James remained silent for the time being. He didn't really have anything further to say, though it seemed that a few others did and they all had valid points that seemed to make Kyle rethink his decision. In the end though the corsair agreed that it made sense to leave it to the Wise Ones decision, they would know best. He then couldn't help but look over at their bo-wielder who Sora had just claimed had been declared their leader.
'Since when was Joe declared leader? Nobody told me about this...'
'Is there a problem with that? Having an actual leader is actually a pretty sound idea,' Fenrir replied with that seemed to be a bestial chuckle at the corsair's reaction.
'No, there isn't a problem with it if Joe can actually lead. I just didn't know that's all.'
"Did... did someone die?"
He was about to ask when Joe had been made leader since that hadn't actually been covered during their information catch up when he completely lost his train of thought when he heard that and as if reflexively the corsair's right hand came up to his forehead with a very audible, echoing.
"SMACK!"
"oww.... that stung," the corsair stated as he rubbed at his forehead, not even really noticing his hat had been knocked off in the process.
"Does it look like anyone has died Anthony?" the corsair couldn't help but ask, his voice filled with sarcasm. "Did you miss the entirety of our conversation?" He asked, hoping that they wouldn't have to recap everything all over again.

Anthony picked up James' hat and placed it back onto the corsair's head. "As a matter of fact, I did miss the entire conversation," the young man said. "I was too busy throwing up to join you guys out here, James," he continued, placing an emphasis on James' name for some sass.
"Anyway," the knight said, changing subjects, "who's the new guy?"
