Cassie rolled her eyes and half-heartedly smacked Faraday's hand. "Hiya!" she said, suddenly, for some reason, in a good mood. Maybe it was the possible attack on the Quisidor.

Cassie smacked her forehead in exasperation but didn't stop Faraday's hand again, instead just keeping a wary eye on Alexander.

Alexander glared at the entire party.
Freeda sat by him, "Alex...why? Why have you been ordered to kill us?"
Alexander looked away. He couldn't look her in the eyes.
