None of us WANT to go to work ever, really. But we do WANT money. Or need it, really.
But yeah, today would be an awesome day to be able to stay home and relax, for sure. I dunno 3:30-9:15 ain't so bad. I wish it was like... 4:00-9:15 though because they're being stupid. Giving me 5 and 3/4 hour shifts so they don't have to give me a break. Bastards.
I, too must make breakfast! Bageltime.

I moved it while I fix some s**t up. All the stickies need to be streamlined, and I figured I'd use the space for threads we'll be using for now. It's now meant for discussing current scenes and related stuff only; all other roleplay discussing (such as of magic canon, locations/etc, family lines, all that extra s**t) goes in the Guildverse Discussion.

Yeah, I know. I'm actually feeling pretty good about it all this week. I dunno, you guys cheer me up so much, and give me so much to think about during work that it doesn't suck.
I don't know, the worst part about it all isn't just the closing, the being there late, not seeing Austin and all. it's like, weekdays are so super slow all the time is the worst. So it just feels like forever, even with these shorter shifts. Hate that.
And I always try not to think like, how much time do I have left? But it's hard not to count down the hours in my head, which I suppose really makes it go slower. I dunno. I need to bring like ,a damn huge sketchbook and do some actually drawing but you know they'd get pissed if they saw me doin' that. S'why I wish they'd let me work the gas station.

I count the minutes. It sucks being on register because then the computer screen's clock is RIGHT THERE and I look at it every ten seconds. When I sack, I can't see it because it's 5 feet away and my glasses aren't strong enough anymore.

Well like, you get to just sit in the little booth thing all day there. And there's no use of cash, only credit cards and gift cards so there is like literally nothing for you to do there. Just replacing the receipt tape and s**t like that. Help people who are too dumb to work the gas pump.
Also I would like to be the goddamned person who gets to stand at the door and check people's receipts all day. Seriously, what the ********? Gimme that job.
I don't know man, it's just so slow. Give me returns to do, something, anything. They won't train me in other areas even though I've asked/said I could. And again, I think it's because they want me fired and the only place to get written up is cashiering really. n_n
Rargh. And I don't wish my life away, just the part of it that is working. Like, fast forward plz.

*sighs* Ten minutes left. Sucks that time has to fly when you're having fun, neh? I wish I could telepathically like, roleplay with my braaaaain or something during work. Since I basically do that anyways, heh.

We have Dillons fuel stations just like that. For every $1 you spend in store, you get a point; 100 points is 10 cents off per gallon, 200 points is 20 cents, and so on.
Ugh, that sucks that they've boxed you in. >< Are you sure they want you fired? o_o

Good morning, guys~
I thought my shift was 8 AM to noon... it's 8 PM to midnight. And I didn't discover this until I got to work xd LOL fail.
Kat poked me and made it clear that the differences between the Guildverse Discussion Forum and the Community Forum aren't clear, so I'll try to reword things. The gist is that the GDF is a giant roleplay discussion, whereas the WCF is for community-oriented threads, from creating things (projects, avatars, fanfiction) to organizing/celebrating things (events, fanthreads.)
And does the edited posting screen piss anyone else off too? T__T;;

That sucks, I woulda went back to be for sure. I remember I went in once on a day I wasn't scheduled for. I went to punch in and the time-clock was like BEEPBEEPBEEP. And I was like... " cool ******** dude what is happening with posting in guilds? It was fine yesterday but now it's like... like the way you post in the normal forums. I like the old way lots more.

Well, they're working on guilds as part of spring cleaning. It's probably code being worked into the system, hence being all ******** up and broken looking.
But it completely sucks, as I liked the old style more. =(

HAHAH OMFG.
Well, it's like... I only got two and a half like hours til work. I set my alarm for ten but said screw it and went back to bed and now I just feel tired still AND like I wasted a good part of my day. Dammit, I just hate the shifts this week so much.
And it didn't rain, so no Austin. Sucks. Yesterday they were saying 60% all through the morning now its at like, dumbass 30% or whatever...
