Seph didn't look the least bit surprise--stranger things than a growing cat had happened. He followed it into the kitchen, then nodded his head to the side, smiling. "Hey Nyl, Hey Fuji."

Fuji looked over as a panther and Seph entered. He, being seven years old, laept off the chair and tackled the Panther yelling "Jak!" before turning and waving to Seph. "Hi Seph!"
The panther let itself get tackled and fell to the side as if Fujiwara had been able to actually knock him over

"Sephiroth." Nyl nodded to him. It occured to her suddenly that no one in the dojo even knew. ...She decided she didn't mind it that way. "How are things?"

Seph waved at Fuji, his smile broadening a bit, then turned his attention to Nyl.
"Things are busy. Or were. How are you?"

Old. Nyl would have smiled at her thoughts, had Fuji not presented her with such serious news.
"I was well enough. Seph, I came in here and found Fen practically frozen. Why was nothing done about this?" She gave him the same critical look she'd been using on Fuji.

"The practical answer would be, 'I've been away.' The medical answer would be, 'If you physically heat someone who's experiencing extreme cold flashes, it could be too much for their body to handle.' Like when you have numb-from-cold fingers and run them under warm water." He said, thinking it was a test. "Is she okay, now?"

Fuji frowned at Jak before looking back up at Nyl and Seph. He then winced seeing the same look Nyl had been using on him earlier now directed at Seph. He looked away and back at Jak. "where have you been little cat?"
Jak shifted so as to be more comfortable, pawing Fuji and licking his face.

Fenris had dozed off for a bit, quite content with the hand on her shoulder. She snapped back into consciousness as a panther was tackled by the little Fuji. She blinked and looked up to Nyl and Sephiroth tiredly from under her blanket, then grinned. Though, moments after she started hacking, her hand curled into a fist covering her mouth.

Seph caught Fuji's wince and winked at him. "I'm used to it by now." He looked back to Nyl. He wasn't educated in the animosity between Nyl and Serin, but the way Nyl said that name gave him plenty of material for imagination. He also noticed the catch in her voice, but set it aside for later.
~Serin.. Serin. I can't put a name to a face. If Serin is back, we should probably get rid of her... Him. It.~

~Her. A time demon. ...I swore her death if she returned. And this time I'm powerful enough to do it.~ There was a lingering 'or I'd better be' in that thought, if Seph was fast enough to catch it.
"...Used to what by now?" She raised an eyebrow at Seph and Fuji, but was distracted from that train of thought by Fen's coughing.

Fuji grinned a boyish grin up at Nyl and Seph before turning back to fenris with a big grin.
"Lookie Fen! Lookie! Jak is back!"
Jak stood then and looked at Fen, alittle startled by her hacking.
~So, she survived.~
Fujiwara frowned and looked at Jak. Of course she survived! Then it clicked. That wasnt Jak. With a cry he leapt as far as he could at Nyl and Seph. "She's here, she's here!"

He was fast enough, and he nodded to her confidently. ~Her it is. I'm not a fan of time magic. I remember vividly the last time we messed with time.~
He quickly raised Byakougan, removing his specs in the process. He blinked--something he rarely did with Byakougan.
~See? Oh yeah. Normally it's hard to see blood vessels, but her's are.. glowing. Literally. Her blood pressure is extremely low, and it's infused with her chakra. I mean, her blood is more chakra than blood.~
He turned to Fuji, then looked to the panther. "Serin, is it?" He dropped Byakougan.

Fenris looked down to the panther confused. After awhile that name smacked her in the back of the head. "Jak? I remember that name." She smiled and held a hand out to the panther, not really catching Fuji's little scene.

"Where?" Nyl didn't move. The chakra in the air would noticeably shift, though.
