Wow... just freakin' wow... So they over-turned the case in favor of the church that's been picketing US soldier funerals.... I agree that their 'demonstrations' are protected by the first amendment but those worthless wastes of oxygen should be removed from society by any means available. I fully support freedom of religion and expression but someone needs to burn that church down.

I would have gone for lies and slander. They were holding anti-gay signs. The father should have said that it's an insult and sue them that way also for desterving the peace. The same group protested Comic Con. The attendees responded with protesting back. Here.

Yeah, there are a lot of things that seem to be a useless bit of oxygen and space to me... but this proves to boil my blood unlike anything else for
1: I support gay rights many close friends of mine being either gay or bi....
2: I support the army, my family having an extensive background my grandfather from the navy my uncle in the navy and reserves and my mother though granted she didn't complete bootcamp.

Wow Dev. Your family sounds like mine. My gramps was a navel career officer, my dad in the navy, my aunt was a career officer in the air force, and right now I have a cousin in the navy. On a lighter note I heart nerds.

They tried to get them for intentional emotional distress... which I don't understand how that didn't go through! They specifically targeted this family but managed to sneak around it by saying that because there was a published obituary, the deceased son was a 'public figure'. It's a load of horse sh*t. While I will likely never join the military, I have friends that currently serve and have the utmost respect for anyone willing to put their life on the line to protect the freedoms I enjoy everyday. Trying to say that those brave people are dying because God hates the US for accepting people like me? Poppycock, sir....

Devlin-G My philosophy peace through superior firepower. I now have Iron Man stuck in my head, lol. I'd like to think my philosophy runs the line of "peace through knowledge, acceptance, and understanding" but in reality there will always be someone who dissents and the only way to keep them under control is through force. So having the biggest guns will bring about everything else.
