Streamjumper Zero Omega Pheonix315 Fomite Pheonix315 Fomite Inamori Kanako Bloody hell, I STILL haven't seen Star Wars. crying Same here, and I'm sure it'll be a while. *nibbles on ears* heart Shouj - That's what I've heard. Yet I still want to see it, half for the fact that it sounds so bad. xd
It's ok. I admit that I was expecting something more than it actually was and the fact that I am/was somewhat of a Star Wars geek didn't help matters. From a purely objective standpoint, the graphics are nifty and the fight scenes are cool. The romantic scenes and dialogue are cheesy as hell and there are probably some inconsistancies. The movie has, correctly, been described as a lightsaber orgy. I would call it one, if not the, best Star Wars movies because of the effects. I mean think about it, Star Wars really has never been about the plot but the effects, characters, etc. Episodes one and two were hugely about the story. Lucas initially felt that the effects were there to immerse you in the story. If the story wasn't important, then why did he make efforts to keep the stories secret starting with ep 5 and continuing through 6, 1, 2, and 3? Hell, for that matter, why was Hamilton one of the only people on the set (cast and crew) who knew about Vader being Luke's father before the words were uttered before the camera? Yeah, I see your point. Still, I enjoyed it a lot and see it as a good movie, so yeah... I'mma shut up now. sweatdrop
