Peppermint Elf Zero Omega Kinetic Dream Workin', livin', and tannin'. :3 I've been outdoors a lot, and been just generally enjoying being able to be alive and what not. Happiness and all that jive. Out... Doors? confused I've heard of this... outdoors... thing. Apparently it's full of plants, animals, fresh air, and sunshine. But y'know... it's away from the computer, so it can't be all that good. neutral Sounds... Scary and stupid. neutral Who would do this "outdoors" thing?

It's ok. I admit that I was expecting something more than it actually was and the fact that I am/was somewhat of a Star Wars geek didn't help matters. From a purely objective standpoint, the graphics are nifty and the fight scenes are cool. The romantic scenes and dialogue are cheesy as hell and there are probably some inconsistancies. The movie has, correctly, been described as a lightsaber orgy. I would call it one, if not the, best Star Wars movies because of the effects. I mean think about it, Star Wars really has never been about the plot but the effects, characters, etc.

Lucas initially felt that the effects were there to immerse you in the story. If the story wasn't important, then why did he make efforts to keep the stories secret starting with ep 5 and continuing through 6, 1, 2, and 3? Hell, for that matter, why was Hamilton one of the only people on the set (cast and crew) who knew about Vader being Luke's father before the words were uttered before the camera?
