Toby was good at summoning people, being so loud; Maia was grinning. She gave Danny a smile when he appeared. An Irish vampire? "Nice to meet you too," She said. "I loved it. You did wonderfully," she added. She'd never seen anything performed on stage before, and it'd certainly been a pleasant experience.

"Good! I'm glad to hear it," Danny said, grinning, "Who was your favorite? bet I could get them out here for a picture." He looked back toward the side door. Fans were already taking selfies with their favorite actors and getting things signed. Even nobodies had fans.
"So how's everything going?" Toby asked, "You all good?"
"Oh! Yeah. Real well, thanks. It's going real smooth for a first tour, like."

Favorite? "I like Puck," she said. "Pictures?" she asked, glancing around. Huh. Even playactors had fans? "I'd never been to a play before this," she said. "So it's your first tour?"

"Mm-hm! Couldn't have done it without your man and his... associates." The way he accented the final word suggested he had had another in mind at first. Then he turned over his own shoulder. "ADAAAAAAM."
"Hold on!" From somewhere in the crowd. Fellow cast members always became family.
"He's coming. So really, your first play?" Was she something supernatural, then? Really he'd only ever heard of vampires before getting all of this sorted out, and then all the faeries in the UK, but those were just myths. "I'm honored it'd be this one."
"I dragged her," Toby said.
Danny clicked his tongue. "Cheeky..."

"Yup, very first. My parents weren't keen on--anything," she shrugged, and looked at Toby and smiled. He'd helped her so much, introduced her to so much. "He knew I'd like this one. I don't like tragedies."

"Nah, these are much better. I usually do musicals, but I love this one-- There he is!"
The actor who had played Puck, no taller than 5 foot 3, approached and hiked up his pants. He had yet to take off his makeup yet. "What?"
"You were this young lady's favorite, and I thought she might like a picture," Danny said.
"Oh! Sure!" Puck-slash-Adam replied, smiling. Danny held out his hand and Toby put his phone in it.
"Get closer," Danny said, "We're actors, we're forced to awkwardly touch each other all the time. ...that came out wrong."
True to the vampire's work, Adam seemed to have no issue putting an arm around Maia.

"So you sing?" Maia was intrigued. She'd never seen a musical before, either. She looked over when Adam approached and gave him a smile.
Awkwardly touch each other? She smirked.

"Mm-hm!" Danny replied, and then held up Toby's phone. "One, two, three!" A big grin from Puck, still half in costume, and then he turned and gave Toby a handshake.
"So you're friends of Danny's?" Adam asked.
Toby nodded. "I've known his family a long time."
Danny grinned, and it was clear his canines were filed to human proportions. He was only as dangerous as his strength, because he certainly couldn't do much damage with his teeth.
At that moment a woman came over to Danny and murmured something to him.
"Oh, sure, love!" he responded, handing Toby his phone back. "Alright, I've been called off. Don't be a stranger, eh?" He turned to the girl and led her aside.
Adam smiled to the couple. "It was nice to meet you!" Then he was off too.
Toby opened the picture Danny had taken and showed it to Maia. It was mostly just her and Puck, but he'd bent over and shot a thumbs-up and and open-mouthed grin himself. They could crop him out if they'd like.
"Were that any other guy I might've decked him."

Maia took Toby's hand, smiling at the picture. "I knew it," she said. She leaned up and kissed his cheek. "Don't worry, love. I'm not interested in actors." She gave his hand a squeeze. "Did you have a favorite?" She asked. "Or do you want to head home?"

Toby chuckled. "Better not be." He kissed Maia's head. It wasn't exactly what he meant, but he had a feeling he didn't have to specify.
"A favorite? Character? Nah. It was all good. I thought you might want to go out to dinner? Aren't you hungry? I don't think Dari's coming home tonight..."

Toby did have a point, she was a bit hungry. "Sounds good," she said, giving him a smile. "Going to a play and dinner! It sounded like a perfect night. "He never seems to, on weekends," She observed. She supposed it was understandable; they only got to see each other on weekends.
"Where were you thinking?"

"Well we can't go anywhere fancy," he said, motioning down toward his outfit, "but I bet we could go for some awesome Mexican. There's a place not far from here. We could walk if you wanted to. It's only a few blocks down."

It was early, and Dari was predictably awake. His sleep schedule wasn't anything near normal as he didn't necessarily require the rest. As such, he was pretty sure Cody hadn't gone to school yet and decided to ring him on a whim. Maybe they could make a date for later in the week.
He touched Cody's speed dial number and held the phone to his ear. It was a pleasant morning, not too warm but sunny, and he could hear the birds outside.

Cody answered the phone immediately. "Dari?" He sounded stuffy and groggy, though undoubtedly having been up an hour preparing for the day. "Hi love," he coughed. There was the sound of something being unwrapped. "Good morning," a coughdrop apparently, Cody's hoarse voice was somewhat muffled. "I'm almost done with my lesson plan."
