Allen looked out to Caleb, pursing his lips, "Proba-" He had been cut off but the fumbling of the Marshtomp running from the hallway outside, he stepped over to the open door, holding it open to look at the younger member. He gave a chuckled and asked, "You alright there?"

Rei's Zubat flew over the toppled duo, laughing. Marshtomp was so silly. Her partner walked over to Caleb and helped the lad back up, offering him the dropped TADS.
"Good afternoon, Caleb," Rei said, laughing. "What are your plans for today?"

The upper half of Caleb's body was on the ground while his legs rested on the bench. "Such an energetic little fellow!" Caleb's grandmother said cheerfully. Marshtomp rubbed the back of his head, grinning sheepishly.
"We'll talk to you later Grandma..." Caleb said wearily, holding the TADS upside down so he could look at it better.
"Alright dear...and make sure you tend to that hand of yours before bed. You wouldn't want it infected!"
"I have been...once a day," Caleb grumbled. His face seemed to turn a bit red as well. Marshtomp laughed. Look at Caleb getting all embarrassed! Caleb quickly said goodbye and hung up. His face went blank when he heard Allen's voice.
"Never better..." Caleb said. He attempted to get up, only to flop back over, very much resembling a turtle for a moment. Second time was the charm. He pulled his legs off the bench before ungracefully getting to his feet with Rei's help of course, and dusting himself off.
"Not much really...." Caleb shrugged, taking his TADS back from Rei. He quickly stuffed his hands in his pockets.

Rei nodded, happy to see Caleb not completely down in the dumps.
"Well, I'm taking a final tour of Castelia. We've been here a while, but there's still some places I haven't visited yet." His gloved hand rummaged through his bag until he found a small notepad. Taking care not to tear the worn papers, he held it up for his Zubat to hold while he fished around for other objects.
"Hmm... Could've sworn I had it somewhere in here," Rei mumbled as his Zubat flipped to the page outlining the day's events. Rei sighed and gave up; he'd find his pen some other time. Looking up to his hovering notepad, he read aloud.
"Castelia Park. Let's head there first. It's a short walk from here," he said, not yet hungry enough to visit the café.

Alen's face lit up when he heard the park mentioned, "Really!? I've been trying find my way there almost since we arrived here! I was pretty surprised to find out that such a bustling city actually had even a single grassy area." He chuckled, looking over to Caleb. "Couldn't help but to overhear, what's up with your hand?"

Caleb seemed to relax a bit more as Rei talked about visiting Castelia Park. About time they visit the place.
His face blanked out whenever Allen asked about his hand. He pursed his lips as he sighed deeply. "None of your Beedrilwax..." he said quietly. "I'll go grab my bag...." he said quickly before scooting inside the hotel.
Marshtomp could sense the tension in the air. Awkwaaaaaard. He did a little jig as he waited for Caleb to get back.

Rei looked down at the Marshtomp, amused at the little dance.
"You're quite the energetic one today, aren't you?" he asked, a smile on his face. The Zubat flew circles around the Marshtomp, doing her interpretation of a jig.

Allen's eyebrows went up in surprise as he heard the muttered comment by Caleb. He didn't know what exactly to say before the boy walked off. "Jeez, what's eating him?" His lip curled slightly in disgust at the boy's attitude, but he wouldn't say anything and soon let it drop. Lydia dropped down to Marshtomp's level and danced around, mimicking the other Pokemon's movements as best she could.

Caleb patted the sides of his face as he left his room. Pull yourself together Caleb. No need to be an a** when someone shows concern. His Noibat flew after him landing on his shoulder and yawning a bit. She had been taking a little nap before he had so rudely woke her up. Both of them stared as they spotted the dancing trio when Caleb walked outside. Noibat suddenly erupted into a series of squeaks that sounded very much like laughing.

The Countess swooped close to the Noibat, inviting the little one to join in on the dancing. She flew in wide circles, occasionally taking a few dips dangerously close to the flailing arms of the Marshtomp.
After taking a few moments to let his Zubat finish, Rei nodded to the small group.
"Let's go, then." He led the fellow Aquans to Castelia Sewers and led the way to the path.
"I have no idea why they don't have an above-ground pathway to the place," Rei grumbled. He disliked the stench of the place.

Allen's TADS beeped just as they started into to Sewers, "Crap, guys... I gotta take this. I'm sorry." He ducked back to the exit to take the call.

Noibat gave a you-go-ahead motion with one of her tiny little hands. She was still waking up and was not ready to boogie down just yet. Once Rei got their attention, Marshtomp finally stopped what was supposed to be a short little jig.
Caleb and his pokémon followed after Rei. Caleb was deep in thought, wondering if he should apologize for being such a rude little s**t with Allen. He had told his family that he had fallen and scraped his knuckles while trying to catch himself. His grandmother had accepted the reason, although Rene was rather suspicious still. Perhaps he should've just lied to Allen too? He opened his mouth to speak in order to get Allen's attention, only to close it when the TADS went off. Then the guy ducked out of the sewer. Way to go Caleb. Upsetting Allen enough so that he gives a reason to disappear.
Caleb rubbed his arm. Should they wait? Who knows how long that call could drag on for. At least if they found the park, they could send the directions to Allen. That way he could meet them there.
"So do you have a map of the sewers Rei?" He was not interested in getting lost in the smelly labyrinth.

Rei thought for a moment at the mention of a map.
"Hmm. Well, I was here before with the Countess, but we didn't go this way, so my map's not completed," he said with a sigh. He looked at his rather eager Zubat.
"Want to lead the way, Countess?" She shrieked her delight and zoomed off, Rei and Caleb in close pursuit.

Noibat stood up and stretched her wings before flying after the Countess. She didn't mind helping out either. With her ears, it wouldn't be difficult to pick up any unusual sounds in the sewers.
Caleb hurried along after Rei and the bat pokémon, wondering how long it would take to find the way out that led to the park. They could be wandering around for hours. He at least made sure to stay with the others.
Noibat fluttered and glided around, listening for any sounds that stood out.

After running past several pipes and stairways, the bat duo finally sensed fresh air. With a squeak, the Countess rushed upwards, Rei doing his best to climb the rickety staircase that led to the open area. As he opened the double doors, a fresh breeze greeted the group. It was headed towards evening, and the grass looked cool and inviting. Rei grinned at his Zubat and her partner, proud of their navigational abilities.
"Good job, guys," he called out as he ran into the grass, curious to see what lay within.
