||Heh, I guess ignoring it is about all a great demon like Craven can do at first before it starts to grate on his ears.||

The drake was quite insulted how at first the demon man ignored him and then acted as though it was a bother. True, a scouting drake wasn't much of a threat to anything more than two travellers or a few villagers, but it had pride too. It grunted and did it's best to let loose a roar, but it just made a slightly louder caw like a crow made out of granite. It spit out some fire around itself as a threat, but it was no more than a campfire for a few seconds as it fell back towards the woman and children a few inches.

Paradox saw the great figures rise to the ground before anybody else saw them. "HALT. FORM UP, PHALANCS FORMATION." The general bellowed to the army that was marching behind him. They stopped in their formations, and began to get closer together, and interlocked their shields. It was a formation used against larger enemies, since the interlocking shields could take an almost unbelievable amount of force. The Golems wouldn't be able to crush it so easily, and besides, the men had served their purpose. When, he got Katherine, he would only have to run half as far.

He jumped at The golem in his way with the six foot war hammer twirling in his hands like a baton. The head smashed it's way into the golem, which only made the beast stagger a little, but that wasn't the power imbued in the magic hammer. "Crush." Paradox commanded. The hammer then exerted an unbelievable force through the giant golem, throught the ground underneath it. Both slammed into each other, and then through each other. It was just a crater of sand, and pebbles now, and he still had so far to go.

Serenity watched Atrious move forward with awe. If that wasn't bravery, than nothing was. Just like daddy.

Katherine's power went out in that moment. It touched his infected it. That was the problem with her power it could infect others.. the only reason she had been duped before because he had done the same to her. The fire would be the start only it would be tricked confused of it's masters commants and go no farther out toards them she hoped but her power was pushing forward more to Craven to his mind. She wanted to corrupted it to find the seal there. No she didn't want to she was going to.

Even with the threat, the demon man was still mocking him. The drake was very angry, but outright attacking the man was out of the question for two reasons: one- it was instant death, and two- he needed to buy time. However, the former was swiftly becoming the only thing that seemed as if it was going to be happening as Craven veiled himself in fire. Although fire was clearly its element as evidenced by his breath weapon, the drake was no match for this much firepower even if it wasn't directed (which only made it more terrifying). It floated inbetween Katherine and the two younger ones, [EDIT]planning to block as much of the power as it could, but it didn't seem to have to as Katherine behind him was playing with the magic somehow.[/EDIT]

Paradox nodded to Tempest, twirling the War hammer until it clicked back into place on his back. "That's good to hear. Be careful, Tempest. I'm going to have a lot of heat on my tail. You'll need to take the queen back to the castle for safety." Paradox told her quickly before running ahead, following the path that would eventually bring him to Katherine and Tempest. He ran with more speed than many gave him credit. Paradox wasn't a demon. He was something much worse.

A bright red bolt flew through the night sky above the forest, trailed and surrounded by a glowing red tail of smoke and ash. Sarest was closing in on the location of the scouting drake and had already passed several, giving him indications of the precise location. He opened the communication spell again to the particular drake only to feel a great fear for a moment and catching where he was, "Time to get down there I hazard..." he grinned to himself and took down lower to the trees. He wrapped his wings of ash around in front of him and crashed through the trees down towards the most vicious source of power he could identify in the area- Craven.

Her concentration broke when they were pushed back she grabbed up Artrious quickly to her as she stayed on her feet. Her power going back out to his mind. She had found the seal before yes but she need time to figure that out and at the same time stop him. That was first the stopping him. His mind would tell his eyes the world around him moved and swirlled as shapes would become wrong. Simiple illusion tricking the mind but more complicated since his power was effecting them so much. It was hard to concentrate on that. In his mind her voice echoed. "Zypher i know where you are now tell me how."
