river said "thanks he really is nice" and started hoping wanting to get on jay's head.
jay picked river up and pit him on his head and pulled out a pokeball "if you want to you could come with us" and pit the pokeball on the ground

having never seen a pokeball before he asked the piplup "What is that" He said as he looked at it from all directions.

"its what some trainers use to capture other pokemon and other to aquire new friends" river said in pokemon and went to jays belt and uncliped his own "this is my home yet he lets me stay out all i like. its fun being with a trainer but occasionaly you have to battle other pokemon. my trainer doesnt like to battle he likes to make friends by giving pokemon a chance. youll get used to being with him after a while"

jay picke the pokeball up and tapped turtwig with it making sure not to hurt the turtwig.

jay looked at his two friends "ok lets go find chimchar cus i was going to see if he wanted to come along to. you can never have enough friends even if yo got two cool friends already" and started to pack up the tent and put everything in his pack. "lets go my friends for we still got a long way to go" he said and put rver on his shoulder and trtwig on his head so that turtwig could get a nice yeiw.

"looks like we will hae to go to the first gym leader but we will be back through here plus im still waiting on a pikachu to appear so that we could have a friend to help us make fire." jay said to his two pals. he wanted to find a whole lot of pokemon and get them to be his friends. he wanted to be the #1 pokemon friend. he knew sooner or later that he would have six pokemon which ment that he would have to choose his 6 best friends. he didnt want to choose so he would leave that up to river and turtwig when it became the time for it

"well i gues syou want to know what a gym leader is right? well it is someone who also has pokemon but uses them to test others streagths and bond between a trainer and his pokemon. also if a trainer wins than that trainer gets a badge that indicates that he has passed the test. there are eight gymleaders and than there is the elite four in every region." jay said to his friend
