Riten rolled his eyes. "Yes let's focus on that a little more and on your relationship a little less."
He sighed and glaced away from the group just a breeze swept through the trees. Riten felt the wind, thinking about how much more comfortable it felt back home. Home ... what a joke. None of his friends even have "homes" in the traditional sense. No their home was much more general and much larger. Their home was the universe.
Except for, of course, Rio Morrie. Home is where we're headed. That is always what he said when the conversation came to homes. Riten had always assumed it was an excuse for Rio to stay on the Road all the time. Still it was an interesting saying.
"If you've got a destination in mind, lead the way," he added to Chris.

Inexplicably, a phrase that Rio might have said entered Riten's mind. It is an 'a' and 'b' relationship, but I can't 'c' my way out of it. But alas, that was rather corny for Rio. Maybe he was only starting to rub off on Riten.
He shook himself mentally. "So, do we have a heading?"

Hmm., those three again. And what's this? They got Raiden, the elder god of thunder, hauling there luggage?This may work out in my favor.
"I'm sorry, little missy. Your dad can't protect you anymore. And with Raiden occupied, you better tell me where Sub-Zero ran off to. I need to...Speak...with him." Kakorata sat upon a branch.
Look at these pitiful kombatants. I know not even one of them could take me. I could just go down there and kill them all, but I seem to have fun making there lives hell. Kakorata looked at Chris.
But, he. He may pose a threat. I think that's who I'll target if need be.

Riten stared at the strange man they saw from before. Once again he has just come from no where
"You are - " he said then stopped. His permission to help was just recanted by Jennifer, so he could not interfere without a significant reason. Even his involvement before was liable for punishment in the Order.
Damn, I'm going to need their permission again to fight - and most certainly to use Words*. I hope this doesn't turn into a fight.
He bit his lip, unsure of what to do and afraid of what will happen. He needed to get back soon.
*He was thinking, more or less, in another language in which "Words" is the only word they have for "magic".

His eyes flicked towards her, but then he turned away with his head lifted slightly, but his eyes to the ground. He prayed that she wouldn't burst out in anger again, but this silence was distubing even him. He wondered what he could say.
"Ese kone thiyeh," Riten found himself muttering.

Chris looked at Kakorata and said in a calm tone, " Why are you here? I thought you went to kill Shao Kahn and steal the throne. If you try anything, You will be severly beat and your head yanked off of your shoulders." Chris then looked at Raiden and said, " Raiden, Put your pack down and prepare to fight." Raiden threw the pack down and it landed with a loud THUD on the ground behind them. Raiden then looked at Chris and said in a happy tone, " Im always ready to fight, I have been a little bit rusty recently but i can help."
(( My ex-girlfriend went all Soppy on me today when we were chatting on youtube because when we were dating she suppousedly was flirting with another guy but i dont care.))

Chris and Raiden suddenly looked at Riten and Chris's eye's became big. Chris then said, " Raiden, Riten is using the spell that he used the first time that Kakorata attacked us here." Raiden just stared at Riten, His eye's gleaming from seeing the spell. Raiden then thought to himself, ' Riten might just end up being a elder god come the end of this adventure.'
