Bakura sighed a bit and relaxed a tad once he heard Yuugi close the door behind him and leave the house. Hearing Jounouchi sit down beside him and speak up made him jump a little bit in his seat. he quickly wiped the tiny bit of alarm that was written onto his face away and quickly turned back towards the tv. The theif just muttered a small No to Jou and then continued to stare at the idiot box.

Jou curiously tilted his head to the side and looked down at the thief, wondering how he could possibly be interested in whatever was on the screen. He remained perched on Bakura's head a moment or two after that before easing off and walking around the sofa, taking a seat at the opposite end with one leg up on it, the other hanging off. He gave Bakura an appraising look, as if trying to see if there was really something wrong or if Bakura was just occupied.
"So... I guess you heard Yuugi and Malik leave? Malik's going sightseein' around the country for awhile." Jou watched Bakura's face for a reaction.

Bakura looked over at Jou a bit, his head really didn't move just his eyes. which was a little strenuous so hedidn't do it for very long. "Yeah...I heard them...."Bakura spoke a little more clearly back to Jounouchi. Bakura really wanted to ask what had truly gone on in the kitchen...what Jou and Yuugi had talked about. But he didn't know if asking, or more or less his asking usually came out as, demanding to know what had gone on and what they had talked about.

"Ok... good." Jou was at a loss for words. Had he done something to annoy Bakura, unintentionally? But what could he have done? 'Is he mad because I was talking to Yuugi?' Jou threw an arm over the back of the couch, still looking at Bakura. The spirit had turned his gaze away from Jou and to the TV again, giving Jou the impression that he would rather not be talking to him. 'Fine then. I'll stay quiet, if that's what you want.' Jou shifted in his position slightly, then leaning his head against the arm going over the back of the couch. He closed his eyes and relaxed his body, trying to think straight. Without opening his eyes, Jou forgot what he'd told himself about being quiet let his question slip out.
"Ok. What's wrong, bat-head?"

Bakura looked over at Jounouchi and deciding that if the boy was going to prod at his mind for information he might as well just do the same. "What were you and Yuugi talking about in the kitchen?" The theif questioned lightly not trying to sound mad or demanding.

Frowning, Jou lazily opened one eye and peeked out at Bakura's face, the gears in his head slowly turning. He shrugged, keeping his one open eye focused on his landlord/roommate. "We were just chattin'. He wanted to make sure I was alright and everything. ... Why would you be worked up over that? I mean, I know you don't like Yuugi and all, but... you know. He's still my friend. He's just worried." Jou closed his eye again and waited for Bakura's reaction. 'Alright, so it's not the whole truth. What Bakura doesn't know can't hurt him, right? And it's not like he's a mind reader or anything, so he doesn't have to know...'
((... Or IS he, Jou? ninja ))

Bakura remained silent for a moment and then found his voice again so that he could say what his real concern was. "he's not trying to convince you to leave here is he?" Again Bakura tried to make it sound like he was only questioning.

Jou opened both eyes now and blinked curiously at Bakura, wondering if THIS was really what had been bothering him. "No! He's not trying to... he never even brought that up!" He stared at Bakura, hoping that the spirit was believing him. He hated it when people around him were upset and he couldn't do anything about it. He had to make Bakura believe what he was saying! It was the truth, after all. "Even if he did try to get me to leave, I wouldn't. I'm better off here then I was at home, and the company is a lot better. Believe me, Bakura. If Yuugi is upset about that..." Jou shrugged. "Then i'm sorry for Yuugi. But this is where I want to be right now."

Bakura felt himself smile just slightly and dropped the remote onto the couch and move over towards Jounouchi. Wrapping his arms around the boy's waist and reaching an arm up to fiddle with his hair. "Hmmm, good because I am growing quite find of my puppy." The spirit replied cooly to Jounouchi.

As if his body was getting used to having him near the thief, Jou simply relaxed in Bakura's hold (even though his heartbeat had sped up a little). And now, Jounouchi was starting to realize the feeling of Bakura's fingers in his hair had the ability to soothe him, bringing his heart rate back down a bit towards normal. Jou was already completely comfortable with Bakura's closed distance. He smiled at this new knowledge, and wrapped his free arm (the other one still over the back of the couch) loosely around Bakura's shoulders. "So I guess I should be expecting a collar one of these days?" he said jokingly, tugging on some of Bakura's hair semi-sharply. "You're just gonna keep calling me that, aren't you?"

"For as long as you keep calling me bat-head, then yes, I think I will." Bakura spoke softly into Jounouchi's ear and continued to play with his hair.

Bakura's continued play with his hair was resulting in Jou becoming the slightest bit drowsy; at least, until the spirit's voice in his ear brought about a shiver that ran through the length of his spine. 'Damn horomones, or whatever they were...' Jou thought, hoping Bakura hadn't felt that. He attempted to get his muscles fully relaxed again. "Well, i'm still calling you bat-head, so I guess, we're both stuck. At least I don't look like a dog..." Jou teased, giving Bakura's hair an obvious glance. "...I don't, right?"

Bakura chuckled a bit and ran a single finger down Jounouchi's chest and whispered into his ear. "Don't worry puppy, you don't look like a real dog, you just have a few of their traits." The spirit said in a lightly amused tone before closing the gap between their mouths to give him a soft, little kiss.

((Since I am now Yami for this RP, I shall be posting in here too. ^^; And Yami shall be pink, again. ))
The Gameshop was dark, and Yami was tired. And hungry. The result - Yami walking straight into a wall on his way to the kitchen. Rubbing his nose where he had hit it, he turned the light on in the kitchen and proceeded to the fridge, intent on finding himself a snack. He hoped Yuugi would be home soon, he missed his aibou - plus, Yuugi knew how to work the microwave. Grabbing some some leftover cookies (the Girl Scouts had recently been at the house) and some milk, Yami walked to the counter and began to eat, thinking. And shivering slightly, seeing as the only thing he was wearing were boxars (with little Kuribohs and Dark Magicians on it). He took a sip of milk and sighed, hoping Yuugi would be home soon.
