Greetings ladies and 'gents! Delighted to make your acquaintance, or in the case of some of the earlier members, to see you all again!
I've been inactive on Gaia for quite some time now, almost a year even, and I've been getting back into the guilds I'd not checked in for a while so I thought a re-introduction would be suiting. :3
Name's Khatsworth, Sonya by first name. My buddies, crew and partners call me Doom or Khat(s) for short. Used to mainly go by the name of DoomNeko a while back, but I've lately shed the nickname for something more... personal, let's say.
Formalities aside, I'm just your average geek. I have a fondness for cartoons, comics, science, cooking, psychology, sweets, felines and an unhealthy obsession for the colour red, as well as dabble in computers as a tech support technician. Although I do art here and there on the side as a hobby, my true passion is gaming, and I listen to various types of metal, rock, and some songs of other genres that don't make my ears bleed with slanderous or demeaning lyrics. Power metal is my favorite though. Other than that, I also play Dungeons and Dragons 3.5th Ed, and notably, DM a local fantasy-steampunk campaign for 4th Ed. :3
Of course, I also have a dear fondness for steampunk, clockwork and the likes. 'Tis the reason to be here, isn't it? On that note, I'm currently working on a story with lots of steampunk elements that I'll hopefully soon start making into a webcomic sometime in the near future.
As for my character, Khatsworth (seen on the right), she's a just a normal bengal tigress. Well... as normal as an anthropomorphic bengal tigress sky pirate can be! Although a part-time mechanic at first, she defaulted to a captain's position among her crew after commandeering her first airship.Websites:DA Gallery: http://khatsworth.deviantart.comFacebook: http://www.facebook.com/khatsworth

Good day boys and girls! My name is... Call me Moony or whatever else you might have up your sleeve... 3nodding Pardon the three dots after every sentence... It's a filthy habit but I haven't been able to get rid of it... crying So I live in the Philippines and has been obsessed with airships since I was 5 years old and I found out about steampunk when I was 12... Then I forgot all about steampunk... I recently remembered it when gaia released the Nautilus Raiment... Then I figured why not go back to steampunk? Before steampunk I've been a real fan and still is a fan of the Victorian era... So now I've been thinking about getting a few steampunk outfits in real life... Well... At least steampunk outfits that don't look too outlandish so I can wear them outside... Maybe a pair of bronze colored boots with cogs? xd I am also like anime and manga... I love to read a lot... We have three large bookshelves at home and I have read ALL the books from literary works to books about how to grow orchids... xd I love to cook and bake as well... I am VERY fond of pastries... 3nodding I love star gazing... I play the piano and often falls asleep at night on the piano... >w< I wish I could play the violin... I like spying on our neighbors... xd So I think I've been saying loads of things now... If anyone wishes to know more about me a comment on my profile will surely get a quick reply... 3nodding

Good evening, loves! My name is Calcephony, but Cally is fine as an alternative. I grew up in a family who loves aeroplanes and science fiction. It seems only natural that I have an interest in them, too. Steeampunk, though I have had a certain interest in it for years, is relatively new to me. I joined this guild in hopes of meeting and talking to people who know a lot about Steampunk! Maybe I will make a few friends while I am here? Oh! I love reading, star-gazing, and writing. My favourite constellation is The Hunter, whose foot is also my favourite star, Rigel; my favourite classic author is Jane Austen, but I also love Darren Shan and Philip Reeve!

Snake upon my dirigible! I'm Rigby, or Rigs for short. I heartily enjoy the 80s. As in, the 1880s. In addition, I am huge writer-ly sort, particularly poet. I am, of course, an English major with a creative writing concentration and I enjoy many poets. Nothing is better than tea, a book of Blake, maybe some of Wilde's poetry, and a top hat.

Welcome, everyone!
Rose, for someone from New England, you seem to be angling for a rather Western appeal. xD

Hi there, how're ye doin? The name's Foghlaidh, just call me Fog for short. I just recently got into the whole steampunk thing. It's pretty damn awesome. I've always been a fan of Jules Verne and other authors of the like. But never heard of steampunk, until someone asked me if I was one. Simply because I watched things like Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Wild Wild West, and Howl's Moving Castle. To be honest, I was a bit.... confused But then I looked it up, and I've been hooked ever since. I hope to one day, be able to get into wearing steampunk fashion. Though I live in Alabama...so alot the rednecks here might make fun.

Greetings.
I'm James. I'm an avid writer, worldbuilder, and roleplayer. I prefer things with a heavy fantasy bent - even my Steampunk has always had fantasy elements, right up to elves and dragons. (Admit it, you'd pay to watch a Steampunk Mecha-Knight pwn a Dragon). About the only thing I'm more a fan of than Steampunk is Knighthood - I'm a bit of a goody-two-shoes, and loves the Swords and Sorcery stuff, particularly when it comes to shiny armor. I also love to fuse the two 'genres' - There's no reason the Mechanized Armor can't be put forth to Holy purpose, after all. 8D (Warhammer eat your heart out.)
My character's name is Albain Blanc. He hails from a long-ruined civilization on the moon, and possesses an unusual internal biology, telekinesis, and on nights of Lunar importance, magic. He is able, on those nights, to make highly-advanced technology through a fusion of magic and engineering discipline. He also has a very detailed motivation and backstory, but it's one I don't want to reveal to you all right away.
I hope I can contribute to this guild, preferably in a way that doesn't detract from its overall quality. Knock me over the head if you feel like I'm trying to become a Wesley Crusher.

I'm not sure if my own introduction is due, but the themes of Steampunk and the Victorian era in general are becoming strong interests of mine since a few years ago. The urge to write a story has been growing, and I am bound to start doing so any moment.

Hello, all! I'm Del Amor. I'm known as Captain Nell Aurelius in steampunk circles. Currently I live in the Atlanta area and am very active in Terminus events.
My ship is the Ouzelum and we're looking at creating our own etsy shop to offer Jewelery and perhaps a few other accessories. We want to do something a little more interesting and meaningful than just another small item with tiny watch gears super-glued asymmetrically onto it.
Anyway, I love the aesthetic, obviously. But I'm also drawn to the larger-than-life adventures which pervades so much of steampunk culture--or at least what I've seen of it. I've only been in the community for a little over the year but I've felt very welcomed by my local community.
