"Um... I kissed you?" Shino said slightly bewildered. he was kinda happy that Shikamaru hadn't ran screaming from the pool and out into the street. "And you didn't want me to...?"

"That's the obvious part." Shikamaru said with a smirk. "I wanted to know why you kissed me. I'm not anyone special and...I'm another guy." his gaze was focused on the water in front of him and on the ripples he was creating with his feet. He didn't sound disgusted, and wasn't, just curious as to what the Aburame saw in him.

Great. Now I have to explain.... Sighing, Shino sat next to teh lazy genius and thoguht about how best to say this. "Well. First of all you are special. Your like no one else I know. Sure your quiet...but you are also very smart, and ytou don't feel the need to prove yourself." He paused for another moment. "Also, I figured out that I'm gay. Yes, I went on a few dates with Hinata...but when i acccidently kissed Kankuro (long story) I felt something more than what I felt for any girl."

"I see. Well, girls are troublesome so I don't really blame you. There's only one girl that I don't have a problem with." Shikamaru said, thinking about a certain blond that he hoped to run into sometime while he was here in Suna. "So...you and Kankuro, huh? You're not out looking for him?"

[ Kitsune.Kunoichi ] Itachi sighed, "Can you walk?" He asked Deidara, thinking that it was a stupid question afterwards. Not waiting for an answer, he then lifted him up by his arm, draping the blond's arm over his shoulders as he placed his other hand on his back. He was hoping that the blond wasn't too injured to walk.

Itachi then slowly began walking. He didn't walk to fast, thinking that it might hurt Deidara in the process. He sent glares to anyone he caught looking as he made his way towards the inn.

Deidara worked on keeping as much of his weight as he could onto his own feet- without making himself more dizzy. He'd gotten used to the walking after a little while, though it was a little hard to breathe because his stomach hurt so much. This was why he worked to avoid getting hit too much.
"Tachi-kun.... need to... lay down for... a bit, un...." Deidara mumbled as they neared the inn. He really wasn't feeling well, either, on top of the pain. His stomach was one big knot, and threataning nausea. He made a shaky mental note to never get hit in the stomach again- if he could help it.

"Well to tell you the truth.... I don't have the faintest idea where to find him..." Shino replied. "I saw him earlier, but I don't know where he went."

Itachi looked over at the blond when he had spoke and nodded, entering into the inn. He made his way down the halls and towards Deidara's room. Once reaching the door, he placed his hand on the knob, turning it to open the door as he walked in. Making his way towards the male's bed, he then helped him onto the bed as he sat down on the edge with a sigh.

Deidara lay stretched out on his back, having given a few small grunts of pain as he was moved onto the bed. His eye fluttered closed as he forced himself to relax a bit, then opened after a bit to glance up at Itachi. "Thanks.... Tachi-kun, un..." he mumbled, managing a weak smile, which was a bit odd with his swollen cheek.
Deidara shifted slowly, un-buttoning his cloak and working on sittin up a bit. He managed to lean a little on the wall at the head of the bed as he lifted his shirt a bit. His stomach was a mess of forming bruises, one of them over his ribs and looking a little greenish. Moving a hand, he gently prodded at that particular bruise, and flinched.

Itachi nodded and smiled back at him. When the male had lifted up his shirt, he stared at all the bruises that didn't look like they would go away anytime soon. The greenish looking one caught his eye as he crinkled his nose slightly. 'That doesn't look like any ordinary bruise..' He thought to himself, figuring that his ribs might have been seriously damaged.

Deidara let out a somewhat pained sigh as he slowly eased himself to lay down completely, again. "Hn... Tachi-kun...? Could you go get me... some ice, un...?" he asked, eye flitting back up to the other male's face.

So he's the preference. Shikamaru thought with a small frown. "I'm sure if we keep wandering around you'll run into him. Considering that a bunch of us are here, we might hear him before we see him. He can be rather loud..."

Shikamaru got to his feet and looked down at the Aburame. "Sure, I don't have anything else to do." After that was said, he quickly pushed Shino into the water. "Revenge!"
