Meanwhile, Terry was sitting on the floor in the middle of a hallway in Alfea sucking on his thumb thinking that he was a baby. A few first years laughed at him, but this was far from a laughing matter.

One of the first year girls, whose name is unknown said, "Isn't that empress dee's husband? Why in all of the magical kingdoms is he acting like a baby? Maybe I ought to tell someone..."

The first year ran to Miss Fairygonda's room and said, "Excuse me, Miss Fairygonda, but there is a serious problem with empress dee's husband Terry. He's sitting on the floor in the middle of the hallway and he's sucking his thumb! He's even gooing like a baby too. I can see it in his eyes that there is something wrong. Its like he's been bewitched or something. It's scary."

By now, Terry had also wet his pants. Not on purpose, but thinking that he was a baby caused him too as he had to go to the bathroom and was unable to. And now that his pants were wet, you guessed it, like a little baby, he began to cry like a baby. The thing was, Terry was a full grown man, so his cries were tons louder.

Polaris helped Zafire get to Terry in a few seconds. His energy was slowly changing so it had been hard even for Polaris to identify it at a first glance. Zafire looked at Terry. His eyes were far different from what they looked before. She sensed Terry's star energy and immediately knew what to do, and she did not like it. She had to give Terry two of her power stars, permanently, leaving herself with only three, and she needed seven stars to have enough poer to make Polaris a human again. But she knew that without Terry, it would be impossible to gain a single star. She had to act fast "Mrs. Fairagonda, I can cure Terry from his state. I'm going to need you to watch my back, because I may faint after this." Zafire took Terry's hand and closed he eyes. She started to glow with a white light, and slowly two of the stars in her dress turned from black to white, and then they disappeared. Zafire felt how they left her, it was something very painful. She let go Terry's hand and there where two lights visible, which hurried to his heart. For Zafire, it was like suddenly getting suffocated. She smiled at Terry before fell to the floor, fainting, and she was no longer in her enchantix.

Iori then said, "Who was it that killed Kai?"

Then Kai suddenly disappeared through the wind in a set of soot and ashes.

Akane watched as Kai's body turned to ashes and the wind swept them away. She looked to Iori again. "Valtor killed Kai and I intend on making him pay. Listen are you going to Red Fountian, if you are would you drive me there?"

Kyrst was in the nurse's office as soon as she heard that Zafire had been sent there. She smiled as Zafire woke up. "He's fine. he's still in Ms. F's office."

Zafire shaked her head and saw Kryst. She smiled when she heard about Terry, now she had a chance to recover her lost power and maybe gain more, but she was going to have a really hard time. "I'm glad he's alright." she said "It's not that I did it for convenience, but I really need his help to save Polaris from a lonely immortal life as a star. I need seven stars, I have three. I normally take a year or more to get a star, but I must get four in less than three months, besides the knowledge of the constellations and some comets, and Terry is an expert."
