Chloe nodded, "I'm sure you'll do okay. Hino will definitely come in handy, and you've got Kassou as well," she smiled.

"Kay, as soon as you're done, I'll tag along with you guys. I know my way a little bit around Sinnoh, so hopefully I can be some help finding our way to Mt. Coronet," she laughed, "After that, it should be fairly easy, just head north until you see snow," she smiled.

"In the meantime, I'm gonna train Saku a bit while I'm here," she smiled, looking down to the Shelgon, who shrugged. An astonishing feat considering she had no shoulders...

Chloe smiled, spotting the Beldum, "Speaking of training," she laughed, calling Saku forward.

"Alright, same strategy as against the Steelix," she called, "Use Ember when you see an opening. Just be careful, its Take Down can pack a punch." Saku nodded, indicating that she understood, before flaring a fireball at the Beldum. The hovering Pokemon dove in with a Take Down, as Saku flared another Ember. Another Take Down and yet another Ember later, the Beldum was defeated, wobbling off.

Lilie had turned her attention back to Hino, "I didn't hurt you, did I?" she asked curiously, diving in to look at the Charmeleon's belly.

Hino shook his head. "It's fine, but it felt funny being dra-" he started, cut off by a certain Nidorino "Hi Hino!" he yelled out, wagging his tail and laying on the Charmeleon.

"Yeah, they did good, and so did the Mewtwo I have, but it was more of a matter that our attacks weren't strong enough. Having a defensive type advantage doesn't do much good when you can't back it up with an offensive type advantage too." Ricardo explained. He wasn't all that proud of his or his pokemon's performance when he last fought Erika.

Hino laid under the pile of pokemon, yelling and flailing, "Let me up! Get off of me!"
Nido chuckled at Lilie. "Shoutaku! Kassou! Tenka! Come join in!" he yelled, trying to get more people piled onto Hino.
Kassou had nothing better to do, so he flew over and perched on an open spot on Nido's back. "Now what?"
Shoutaku quickly came over also, joining in on the pile. "Yaaaay!" He yelled out happily.
Tenka just looked at the pokemon and shook his head. "Should you really be doing that to your own teammate guys?"
Hino layed his face on the ground "Ugghhhhh... I hate you guys..."

Ricardo looked over at the group and their antics. He thought he probably should say something, but didn't want to ruin the fun for the pokemon that weren't on the bottom. "Yeah, the training will definatly do some good. Plus they all look happier. One thing I forgot to do in that battle was have Tenka put them to sleep. His Grass Whistle is usually really useful."

Chloe sat down on a rock, making sure it wasn't another Graveller first, much to Saku's relief, fiddling with a gauntlet as she pondered how in the world to get it to work.

"Kaya said these had defensive capabilities," she mused absently, examining the scale-like plates of metal that made up the armored glove. In all reality, it looked more frail than powerful, she had to admit. It was fairly light too, which was a relief in her eyes. The last thing she needed was to take up weightlifting in order to wear the things on her hands.

Chloe knew that Lilie could take down the Onix in one hit, however, the Chikorita was still busy with her little dog-pile with Ricardo's Pokemon, so she left this fight up to Saku.

The Shellgon charged with a Zen Headbutt as soon as Chloe gave the command. Saku slammed into the Onix, energy crackling around her as the rock snake reared with a roar, using a Slam right back in return. Saku's shell absorbed most of the damage as she skittered back, before diving in with another psychic-powered headbutt. The Onix countered with a Rock Throw, as Saku flared a Dragonbreath, heating up the Onix's tough skin. The rock snake Slammed into Saku once more, as she finished him off with one last Zen Headbutt. The Shellgon returned to Chloe's side as the Onix slithered off into the depths of the mine, defeated.

"Thanks again," Chloe smiled, as Saku nodded silently.
