A figure ran down the halls as quickly as possible, dodging people as much as possible as to not cause a collision. She was already late enough as it was, and didn't need to be late to her gym class...well..to late for that anyways. Either way, she wanted to get there quickly, and before she knew it, she went through the doors to the locker rooms. Now to change as quickly as possible. With that, she changed into her suit and put everything in her locker. It was so messed up she wasn't even sure if she would be able to get it all out later. Either way, it didn't matter to her.
She was new to this school, and already on the first day she was late to her classes. What a nice impression this would be. She soon slipped her earrings off as she sighed. She didn't feel trusting to this school about these. "Sorry, Seika-Chan...you'll have to wait for a bit.." She stated, placing them in a safe place that no one would find them, or at least she hoped. With that she quickly ran out of the doors to the pool area, trying to find the teacher. Of course, the teacher wasn't that hard to miss as she rushed towards her...or...him...or...it..whatever you wanted to call the person!
She had been taught not to run around pools, and with that, she still didn't listen. Just as she was about to reach the teacher, her foot slipped on some water, making her fall back onto her butt. Yes..her clumsiness and ditziness just had to come at a place she didn't want, which was in front of people. "Ow..." She muttered, soon sighing and getting up as she dusted herself off a bit and then walked over towards the teacher, feeling like an idiot. "Sorry that I'm late!" She stated with a sweatdrop. She was trying to think of a good excuse on why she would be late, yet nothing seemed to come to mind. In truth it was her sleeping in because her Yami hadn't woken her up..which it wasn't her responsiblity, but oh well. Oh...she would never think of an excuse! She'd just have to wait for the teacher anyways, which gave her some time to think...now if only her brain would work for her!

The gym teacher gave Shiro a look, "I don't see why you can't swim because of THAT," she crumbled the note. The teacher then swung around when she saw, and heard, Naoko fall. "Morimoto! Your late!" it growled. She went up to her and gave her a look, "And why are you late!?"
Janus dove into the pool, at least while in the water she didn't feel so naked. She heard yelling, she turned around to see the teacher yelling at some girl. Then she looked over at Shiro, seeing he was kinda looking in her direction. She waved a little, as if saying hello.
Joey was starting his laps. In mid pool he turned around and waved at his friends. "Are you guys swimming or not?"

Naoko blinked, jumping back a bit. Eh..this teacher as scary. If it weren't for the appearance that the teacher gave off she would've smart mouthed back, but as of now, she decided to play it somewhat safe. "Yes, I know I'm late! I'm very sorry!" She stated, looking around, hoping the teacher wouldn't ask that dreaded question. She soon flinched, which anyone could see, as the teacher finally asked it. "Well...." She stated, pushing both her index fingers together as she tried to think of an excuse. "My mother..." She stated, continuing to think. Ah! That was it! "My mother took me to the doctors office for a check up, but she forgot a note!" She stated, giving the teacher a smile, hoping that the teacher would actually buy it.

Shiro looked at this girl and felt somewhat sympathetic... He too, had tried the note thing... He even HAD a fakie.

The teacher rolled her (?) eyes at Shiro, "There's no tide in a pool." The teacher was merciless. She then turned to Naoko, "You better get a not tomorrow- or you'll get detension. Now get in that pool," she (?) threatened.
Janus rolled her eyes. It was pretty shitty the way the teacher was treating him. She yelled out, "Leave him alone, he's got a note." She said calmly and not nasty.
Joey swam over to Janus and whispered, "Hey! Don't get it mad! She'll make your gym class a living hell!" he warned her.

Naoko blinked, the teacher actually buying it. Great..now she had to get a doctors note! She'd find a way. The only part of it was that she was getting sick of this teacher yelling at people, and she was especially sick of getting told she would get detention as well as being told what to do. "I'll get into the pool when I damn right feel like it!" She stated with a snobby come back as she crossed her arms, not really afraid of this teacher anymore. With that, she turned around and headed towards the pool. "By the way, get an attitude adjustment because you're pissing a lot of the kids off! Your idea of teaching with 'fear' really doesn't work with some people! If you want to make people afraid, be a drill seargent in the army because you'd surely fit in there because I'm sure the only thing WE'RE afraid of is what gender you were claimed as!" She stated, giving a slight growl. She just couldn't help but snap, and with that, she got into the pool, not caring about what she had just said. She soon swam into the middle of the pool to where no one was doing laps and just floated there, not planning on doing any gym at the moment.
((Sorry to be a bit harsh..x.x; I normally don't insult much...I haven't RPed this char in a while..so yeah..))

Naomi jumped into the water but stayed near the sides (the pool had no shallow end). Besides that, she never was a strong swimmer anyway. She ducked down to laugh at the remarks the new girl was making at the teacher. "This chick has guts." she stated and looked back up. "Hey new chick! Come on in before it unleashes the beast on you!" she called over to Naoko. "Sensai! Let him stay out if he's got a note. He's not doing anything wrong." It was wrong on how the teacher was treating Shiro and Naomi didn't like it. If she made the teacher mad, than so be it. She wasn't scared of her... it.

Naoko blinked, hearing the girl as she then quickly swam over to her, keeping a safe distance from the edge. That way if the teacher snapped back at her and told her to get out she'd have to do a little work out and swim her way to her. "The only thing is I think the beast wants to stay far away from it! Wouldn't want it to get eaten by the massive thing.." She stated with a smirk, not really caring about the teacher at this point, or getting a detention at that fact. Now..she'd have to run to the locker room quickly. "I think if I run into the girls locker room I'll be safe..I can just tell the principle that the gym teacher was in a female locker room.." She muttered, floating on her back.

Naomi hung onto the side of the pool. "Okay...." she said and looked back at at the teacher before looking towards the girl. "I'm Naomi, by the way." She said. "That's Janus, Joey, Yugi and his sister Yuri - their twins - and the guy sitting over there is Shiro... though I don't know him. I just know his name." Naomi stated, pointing towards each person she named off. "So what's your name?"

Naoko smiled at Naomi. Wow..she could at least have some friends now instead of just Seika. "Oh..my name is Naoko..it's nice to meet you!" She said with a smile towards her. She then looked over towards the people she pointed it, finding it interesting. "Well..I know who some are by their names, but I don't actually know them.." She stated, giving a slight smile towards Naomi again.

Naomi smiled back. "Yeah well... a lot of people know Yugi and Joey because of the whole duelist thing." She said, shrugging. "Frankly I never could get the hang of it." She added and then dipped her head under water, keeping hold of the edge before coming back up. "So you said you just got here today, right?"

She smiled. "That's kind of how I know them.." She stated softly. "I duel, just sadly I suck at it.." She stated, soon going under quickly and coming up, then heard her question. "Oh! Yeah..I did..my ya-..." She stated, soon stopping herself. That was close. No one needed to know she had a yami. THey'd probably think she was schitzophrenic. "My alarm clock didn't work!" She stated with a smile, covering it up a bit.

"Oh... yeah I have problems with that too. They sure don't make alarm clocks like they used to." Naomi stated. She looked back at the teacher before looking back at Naoko. She never did anything in this class anyway, except swimming around a bit but that about it. She couldn't swim that well ontop of the water; she was more of an underwater swimmer. "My little brother duels. I send him cards whenever I can. He's a lot better than me."
