While silently sipping his tea in the shadows, Luc can't help but watch the conversation between some angel lady and the menace he met before. Luc didn't hear much of the conversation, but did notice that Talos was being unusually nice. Luc laughs quietly under his breath, and thinks to himself I knew he had a soft side to him.

"Ah... its been a LONG time since i've been here! I wonder if those nasty crate golems are still in the basement..."

Getting off topic, Gerbo recollected himself and burst into the inn door. After kicking the door in, he began yelling loudly.

"FURY!!!!!!! I here you are the new top dog in this place! Well guess what mister man! The Great Gerbo is back and he is CALLING YOU OUT!!"

With that he jumped up onto a bar table and continued his ranting.

"I will show you how a REAL magican beats the bejesus out of you brawny folk! Come out and fight!"

Gerbo then smiled a quite kindly smile, making his previous statment and little bit un-dauntingly non-threatening.

"If you win... I'll give you a surprise!"

Fury enters the Tavern, in time to hear Gerbo's challenge. Smiling as always at the small wizard's antics, he responds in kind. "It would be a pleasure Master Gerbo. If you like we can continue in my training grounds, unless you prefer to do it elsewhere?"

Veet eyes the strange gnome as he comes in boasting and shouting and proceeds to jump upon a bar table. She didn’t approve of his wild garish behavior and wondered if had by chance had way too much to drink. She simply shrugs and goes back to her drinking. She was about done and would be leaving soon.

Fury returns to the Tavern, adrenalin still pumping after the battle with Gerbo. A very powerful mage, with the same vulnerability as most. However, in a team of adventurer's prepared to protect him, Gerbo would truly be an asset. His powerful arsenal of spells would easily deal with most situations. Moving to the bartender, Fury collects his customary cup of tea, then finds a comfortable spot to relax.

Finishes his tea, and leaves the tavern.

Fury watches as Luc leaves, wondering at his abrupt departure. It had been awhile since Luc had been around; hopefully he had done nothing to offend the Mage. Sighing quietly, he returned to his tea, lost in thought.

Fury's thoughts wander to the Miyr School of Necromancy and Black Magic, a place that he had stumbled upon a few days ago. It seemed strangely vacant, despite it's impressive name. He had entered into it's special tournament, but had yet to receive confirmation. "I wonder if something has gone wrong," he mused silently to himself. Perhaps that would explain the strange absence...

Gerbo entered the tavern, with zeal in his step, even after his ruthless beating at the hands of Fury.

"Thank god for healing spells, otherwise my little gnomish self would be a pile of goo after all the beatings I've taken... Guess thats why decided to be a Sorcerer rather than an armor clad killing machine."

Gerbo then looked over at Fury who was sitting in the bar.

"Ah hello m'friend! You've got a great amount of skill there! Look forward to working with you in the future!"

Catching Fruy's last statement, he added without skipping a beat...

"Yes indeed.... that tournement has been LONG overdue.. i remember signing up for that well before my mysterious absence as well... perhaps that is the curse of us so inclined to magic... phenominal cosmic power!!!.. and random dissaperings!"

Fury looks up at Gerbo's comment, then looks down again in order to spot the speaker. "Oh, hello Master Gerbo! Thanks for the compliment. And the Necromancer's must be up to something, else why would they be so silent?"

Perrian walks in and spots Fury and Gerbo. He walks over to both of them. "Hello Fury and Gerbo. How are both of you doing today?"

"Oh, hello Perrian. Didn't see you come in. I'm fine thank you. How's things going in your neck of the woods.?"

"Things are going pretty well, I've just been training a lot. Since you beat me it has really set my mood from I'm the best to I gotta train to be the best. Hopefully, soon, I can finally do this summon I'm trying to perfect, but I need to get a lot stronger. Also, along with that, I need to train my magic skills, but that is besides the point." Perrian grabbed a cup of diet soda and took a sip. "So, anything interesting happening in your life, Fury?"

"Oh, the usual I guess. Still searching for Cassandra, Commanding Armies, Seeking Charge Coins, and Investigating Haunted Mansions. Nothing special. How about you?"

Gerbo looked at the ceiling quite some time before realizing that there was company in the inn.

"Oh sorry there m'friends! I some times space off and think.. perhaps its a gnomish trait? Well anywho, i do believe that those necromancers are up to something, though i haven't felt any real "evilness" or anything coming from them... just your standard "good" style necromancy... maybe they are all just busy with their finals or something?"

Gerbo then stared back up at the ceiling and began straching his head and mumbled to himself.

"Thats odd.. before i blew up the tavern they had a double-stich cross pattern up there.... now its a triple cross hatch... thats more common in elvish buildings..."
