Shin's eyes twitched faintly, as Roan made herself known below, how could he have missed her. He didn't feel comfortable here, however this is where the arrow had pointed him, and he had to stay a while, before moving on.

Nothing much. Its too quiet for my liking. Makes me think someone is planning a real spin shot for us.
*Stretching, Roan sat down near Corbin and bit into her blood pack*
Of course, that may just be because Ive been avoiding that damned Siren.

"Heh. You have been acting odd lately. Im not sure I like the siren boy at all. Why are you entertaining the boy anyway?"
Giving Roan a questionable look, he took another sip of his drink, and a drag of his cigarette.

As the pair below conversed below, Shin tried not to listen in, however it was difficult in such a quiet place, and with his good hearing.
He gathered a glass and filled it with water at the sink, before sitting back down on the couch. As he drank, he gently stroked the small device that lay strapped around his left wrist. Cautious. Even jittery.

Ever heard the expression keep your friends close and your enemies closer? The boy is.. different. Hah.. I shouldnt even be calling him boy.
In the same way I was led to my other childer and you, Fate now leads me to him. Lets him into my mind. If that Siren calls, I go running whether I want to or not...yet he is still a curiosity I wish to know more about. For one thing... he's Hades son. For another, he's MUCH older than I ever imagined. MUCH older. Older than me. He interests me, as does his bizarre attitude to life. If YOU'D been around since Roman times, would you have a good and happy outlook on life? I know I wouldnt. I went sour after 21 years of life. Yet he is... sweet? Kind and innocent I think. Oh sure the darkness is there, but so hard to touch and grasp. Unlike everyone else. He confuses and teases me. Turns what I know upside down. I know he and I have been throw together for a reason, but as yet I dont know what it is and for once Im going to enjoy the ride to finding out whats going on.
*Roan spoke far less directly than usual, half talking to herself rather than trying to explain things to Corbin in a way he would understand*

Finishing his water, Shin sighs and sets the glass down.
"I really should get into town. I need to get this thing fixed as soon as possible."
As he spoke, he continued to stroke the device on his left wrist.
"Right then."
He then took to his feet, and made his way out, barton bound.

You still have a choice. Believe me when I say fate and I are on a personal level. Its very hard nto to believe in someone whose physically slapped you. Besides, you havent yet even had to deal with the Jyhad paranoia, let alone Fate. Your still too young kiddo. Im old. Old and cynical and resigned to doing what Im meant to do cos fighting it just make syou tired and you'll STILL end up doing whatever it was they wanted you to do anyway. Id rather do whatever task it is while Im still feeling fresh and get my own enjoyment out of it by doing it MY way instead of the hard way. Of course that doesnt mean I condone the same happening to you and the rest of the brood.
The long and the short of it: Im getting too old. Maybe I'll be happy when Az finally kills me for good. I dont know. At least I know I'll go out with a bang. One final fight..... heh heh.
*Roan finished her drink and sat staring at a knot on the wall*

"Heh, fair enough I 'spose."
Finishing his own drink, Corbin stood up with a slight moan. His muscles were tight after the fight at the slayer estate. He spent way too much energy on account of impressing the slayers.
He took his shirt off and slung it over his shoulder, holding his cigarette between his lips, his spare hand in his pocket as he turned his back on Roan.
"Dont hold your breath though. Azrael still has to defeat me before he even has the right to challenge you. Im the official heir, and its manditory he challenge, and defeat me first."
Slowly walking away from the sofa and Roan, his figure began to cover in shade, converting to his viral shadow form.
"Besides...I've already lost, one mother, to family feud."
Corbin's viral form then distorted into an array of writhing tentacles, before seeping into the various cracks in the floor and walls. His tone during the last sentence however, was noticibly more serious, and deep.

*After the large scream the tavern doors blasted open, suprisingly staying in one piece. A rather small figure slowly walked towards the bar to get a rather BIG drink.*

*Roan turned to stare after Corbin, a faint smile on her lips, and guilt in her heart. She was soon knocked from her reverie however by the rather small person entering the bar. Watching him with interest, Roan swiftly realised it was a rather old and, ah, stout, dwarf*

*Seeing Bard draw in closer to him, Al's little legs picked up pace and made a very impressive jump onto the counter. He dodged ashtrays and beer bottles then made a lunge for a full bottle of whisky*

*Knowing that Bard would be too late, he quickly swung one of his Lutes around his shoulders ,which landed nicely in his playing position, and played a chord with the headstock aimed at Al.
A little spark came flying out and zig zagged through the air. It nailed Al square in his forehead and quite effectively burned him to a crisp, witout doing major damage mind you*
Aha try and drink that now !
*Bards face peeled back and gave out a very very large grin*
