Faces and voices of unfamiliar people swarmed through Kalios's mind, until one appearance stopped in front of him. It was his exact same reflection, but its face showed lines of wisdom and age. "Beware the blood color. It dares to take from you," it had told him, then everything blended into a room. Small, with no windows or doors, and pentagonal, only a pedestal in the center of the pentagram's lines. In the middle, was a torn piece of parchment. The instant he touched the paper itself, he was driven back from his mind to reality, where the pain was subsiding to Alianae's Magicks.

"What's happening?" he barely managed to whisper, as he saw Sora behind them, his palm glowing, an aftereffect from having used magic.

Sora stared at Kalios. He could have hugged him if Alianae and Saurulia weren't still healing him, but he was overjoyed that Kalios survived. But where had May gone to? And why wasn't Kalco here?

((Sora. Saurulia isn't anywhere here. The person I named Sarea looks like Ruia to you all. So call her Ruia? Oh and remember what we were talking about? Maybe we should tell? I made some developments on it. I'll send you a PM.))

Sarea bit her lip and cursed softly.

"What is it?" Alianae asked.

She got two words in reply. He remembered.

Alianae winced. "The others will be coming then." Sarea agreed with a sound and wrapped off her stream of magic with a fancy twist.

"There. Careful who you spar with next time eh?"

"You're lucky Ruia and I were nearby." Alianae said. They hadn't been nearby.

((Eh... Yeah, what you said... Kalco...))

She sharply turned around and drew her sword, point lying on his neck, but then she just pushed it further.

"And just why would I tell you? You've for intention to harm him, and in light of m'lady'd feeling's for him, I've no right to let you proceed."

YEs, she was proud of herself, flashing a devious grin.
It was one of her specialties, cracking into others' minds without nor their consent, or their even noticing.

"Yes, I DO know what you want to do... And nothing you could do to me would make me let you go, unless you wish to kill me. But along with myself, you'd kill your heart..."

And she was well-placed to know.
That day, what they both said... He couldn't have forgotten so easily...

Sora felt something tug at the back of his mind, and after a conversation with Terra, disappeared, reappearing in the hallway right before Kalco triggered the Magick. After taking in everything, he dove in front of May, using all his energy to ward himself. Unfortunately, Kalco must not have been letting back, as they broke through, and threw him through the hallway, with Red dancing along his path. He felt it sap his energy like the poison fruit that he had foolishly eaten, but he still had some energy left. "Resvisto Du Fet Kithyen!" he yelled. Restrict the Red Magick. It must have worked somehow, because the next thing he knew, he blacked out.

Kalios felt the pain that Sora felt everywhere on his body, as well as Terra. His eyes were flashing with black and purple, the power color of the Wardens, as he felt Sora lose consciousness.

Terra was experiencing the pain, but she could keep it at bay for a time. Not alot of time, but enough to tell Alianae and Ruia. Sora hit...by...Magick. The inn, she finished, and roared in pain.

Sora was brought back to life by his words. "You kill me...and he will kill you. You do know that right?" he asked. Yeah, that seemed heroic enough. He couldn't reach either Terra or Kalios now, the Magick must have barricaded his mind. Just in case, he added his own barricades and traps, in case Kalco decided to look.

Then he spun off in the ancient language. "You filthy future-brat! The blood of evil runs in your veins, along with the accursed Magick. How dare you declare your superiority over a Grey Folk, and one of the House of Linthor. Where is your dragon? Did he already sense the foul parasite of a snake, living within you, and run off? I bet you're going to join that future king, Galbatorix, and help him destroy the dragons, as you watch him kill Halbark the moment he kills the elves!" he shouted. He had listened to much more than he showed when he ran through Kalco's mind on the first day.

"Yes, Halbark, I, a mere elf, have enough power in this state to knock the Red Magick's bearer unconcscious. No, of course not, he fell unconscious," Sora said. "Now, if you please, I'm going back to the sparr--," and slumped over, relinquishing his body to unconsciousness.
