Jamie smiled to himself. That was settled, finally. Thinking about it, he realized he didn't even feel the need to seek Ian out anymore, he wasn't foremost on his mind the way the other man had seemed these last days. He wanted to seek out the other people in the mansion, move on. Maybe talking to someone else would get the memories out of his head, pain that still pervaded since Ian had hit him. He wandered into the kitchen, figuring people tended to flock there at times, and grabbed a soda, opening it and leaning against the countertop. No matter how good or bad he felt at the moment, and it really was mixed feelings, nothing cured his caffiene addiction.

It had only been about half an hour since James had left Kyrin, and she woke with a start, spooking Osiris in the process. Noticing that she was in her room, Kyrin’s body loosened a little. She shifted under her dark blankets, smiling, Warm.. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, she was used to little sleep and her ‘power nap’ had her feeling a little better. Flipping the large comforter off her body, she stood slowly. She felt the air close around her, it wasn’t cold but it was cooler then she had been under the blanket. She hugged herself close before going to the mirror. Settling herself in front of it, she lowered her eyes, not wanting to meet her reflection. She had caught enough, though, as she thought, I look like s**t. She wiped strands of hair out of her face, the ones that had gotten stuck to her tear stained cheeks and muttered, “Holy crap…” The last time she had had her hair stuck to her face like that was when she was a child. Kyrin remembered the time really well, as her father had yelled at her for hours, lecturing her [as he liked to call it], on her mistake and where she had gone wrong. She had said the wrong things in the meeting that morning, and it had gotten her father in trouble. She remembered she had cried all night.
All the memories of her and her father weren’t that bad though. There were a lot of times when she remembered him smiling at her and praising her for a job well done. Kairi, She heard his voice in her head, You did well. She smiled at the words, remembering his arms and how he’d envelop her in a hug. He would only do it if they were alone, having to keep up appearances and having not to seem to attached to Kyrin. “Kairi.” Kyrin said slowly, her father was one of the few people that used her Japanese name. He used it all the time, because he said he liked her Japanese name more then her other. Rubbing her hands over her face, she sighed. She stood and lifted the comforter and pillows off the floor. Throwing them on her king size bed, she smiled. The bed had been hers since she was young; a gift from Han. The mansion was too. For her eighteenth birthday her father had got her the run down mansion and had some men come and make it livable. Kyrin had always liked old mansion, she found them to be beautiful and elusive. Running her hand over one of the posts that made up the header of the bed, Kyrin felt more at ease. She knew that she had a job to do, and she needed to step up and become a better leader.
The thoughts of her sleeping with James, and of Draven kissing her, faded as she thought about Craig, who always had believed in her. I will tell him one day. She thought, Just not today. The red numbers on her LCD clock read seven, and Kyrin went to her closet. Pulling out fitted pants and a shirt that showed off her curves, she replaced what she was wearing. She then pulled her brush out, she felt bad for her brief interaction with Craig and decided she would go and seek him out. She wanted to ask him about his trip. Pulling the brush through her hair in long strokes, and setting her new pendent around her neck, Kyrin looked at her reflection again. She had cleaned up nicely. Thinking again to her brief interaction with Craig that morning, Kyrin tried to remember the reason that she had left in the first place. “Ian..” She said in a low tone, a tone that brought Osiris close to her. He could sense Kyrin’s irritation and was excited for something to do.
Kyrin didn’t like Ian in the least and it upset her that he was in her house. He hadn’t made a good impression on her, making James upset and all, and she wasn’t about to let him stay. Kyrin decided that she would seek Ian out first, tell him to leave her mansion. She didn’t know him, and he didn’t properly introduce himself to her; it left her offended. Walking to her door, Kyrin went to open it. When she turned the knob, it didn’t move. I never lock my door. She thought curiously. Unlocking it, she opened it to the hallway. Stepping out, she found a crying Izzy on the floor. Kyrin knelt down to the girl, her anger at Ian became distant for that moment. Kyrin shushed Izzy, “What’s wrong, my darling Izzy?” She spoke softly, as one would to a sad child.

Hearing Kyrin's voice, Izzy sniffled then lifted her head. Her hair clung to her wet cheeks as she looked up to Kyrin through sad purple eyes. "Ky!" She basically tackled Kyrin as she wrapped arms around the other girl, pleading, "Please don't hate me!" She buried her face into Kyrin's shoulder, tears flowing once more.

As Izzy near knocked the unexpecting Kyrin down, Ky murmured, “I don’t hate you. Why would I hate you?” She wrapped her arms around Izzy’s small body and held her close. She felt bad for whatever it was that she had done to make the girl think this, but Kyrin knew in the back of her head that Izzy had her moments. Kyrin knew that Izzy was exactly like a small child, she couldn’t be happy all the time. No one can be happy all the time… Kyrin gently pulled Izzy away from her body and wiped the tears from the her face. “I don’t hate you, okay?” She pulled the girl close to her again, resting her head against Izzy’s and feeling the softness of her curls on her face. Remembering the fact that she needed to talk to Ian, she added, talking into Izzy's hair, "You wanna come help me do some work?"

The atmosphere in the ballroom suddenly felt heavy and it made Nori feel a tad out of place and intrusive. Craig's question about Ky gave the impression that a serious conversation was about to start. After just experiencing the akward nature of the confrontation between Jamie and Ian, he didn't want to repeat the sitution, so he slowly got to his feet and made his way silently towards the heavy double doors. Without causing too much commotion, he let himself outside of the room. Standing behind the door for a moment, he listened a little before stalking away from the area. He just realized as well, that he hadn't gotton the glass of milk that he wanted yet. Walking absent mindedly across the large main room towards the kitchen, he watched the dust flecks floating in the soft light. He opened the kitchen to see that Jamie was indulging in his cffiene addiction. Nori didn't say anything, but he smiled at him as he opened the refrigerator.

Ian wandered about the mansion trying to find a shower. Looking in every room, he finally managed to find an empty room with a shower. Thrilled, he lock the door to the room and turned on the shower's knob. When the water was warm he set aside his clothing and jumped into the water. The warm water poured over his body. Slowly the image of Jamie washed away and he could finally think about other things. He vaguely wondered what he was going to do here on out. He had already finished what he came here for. Well...Almost. He needed his gun back but that could wait. He knew that going back to his own mafia would cause trouble because he came back empty handed; without the mafia boss's son. He didn't want to go back anyways. There was too much going on over there with the loss of the mafia's heir. He decided to try to talk to the head of the mafia here and see if he could get a temporary job just until the craze of his own maifa settle down a bit. Turning off the water, Ian got dressed again and set off to see if he could find the mafia's boss.

Jamie smiled to Nori in return. "Hello," his voice was dimmed, too quiet, thinking still about the memories. He watched Nori pour himself a glass of milk. He was partial to Nori, the boy struck him as quite adorable, and a calming presence just when he needed one.

At hearing Jamies voice, Nori responded immediatly back with a "hey Jamie" He downed the glass of milk before wiping off his lips with his sleeves that were too long. The air around Jamie seemed slightly different this time from the other times they had talked. Nori had the familiar sensaton of being self-consious so he gave a meek smile.

"How are you?" Jamie set his soda can down on the countertop and looked at Nori. He crossed his arms across his body, almost hiding, just almost. Something was still off about him, something clinging to his being that just wouldn't go away. He closed his eyes, a long blink, and looked away. He was trying not to show what he felt, to give the illusion of normalcy.

"Honestly, I'm a little off right now." He said, habitualy pulling on the ends of his hair again. Looking at Jamie, he saw that he seemed a little gaurded. Nori was very sensitive to how people used their body language, so he could tell that something might be wrong. He cocked his head, but he decided not to inquire about it. Maybe it was nothing. Nori decided to keep in conversation with Jamie so he rested his backside against the counter and continued looking at him.

"I can understand that." His smile became more natural, more relaxed. His arms, though, remained wrapped around himself, not as gaurded but still there. Seeing Nori c**k his head to the side, the immediate, though paranoid, notion was that he had caught on to thoughts and feelings that hung around him and refused obstinately to go away.

Nori continued to stare at him. Watching his ractions were interesting and he seemed to give a lot away by the way he held himself. " Jamie..." he started slowly." This may sound clich'e, but if you ever want to talk about something-anything-just let me know. I might be able to empathize with you." He replied softly. holding his stance,he waited for Jamie's response.

Jamie tightened his grip around himself, proving in his stance his body to be skinny, a little too much so. "Its just... Its just something that happened to me when I was younger... Won't go away," his voice was low, he wasn't sure he wanted other people to know. Ian knew, of course Ian knew, Ian had been there for some of it. Not the worst parts, but enough to know it had happened. He could tell Nori, Nori wouldn't judge him, he knew, but he couldn't say the same if other people heard.

Nori wasn't sure why, but when he saw Jamie's vulnerability, he felt a tightening is his chest. Was this pity? No, it wasn't so much what he said, but how he said it. He only vaguely knew the feelings of a haunting past, but he figured he could try to lighten him up a bit. He wanted to ask about it, but thought it might be rude to nose into his business. The mood was getting heavy in the room again, but this time Nori didn't try to steer away from it. " Yeah...There are some things in that past that we can never forget," he replied calmly, staring at his feet." All we can do is decide what we do afterwards." He felt a little bit stupid, trying to give advice which was probably not helpful in the least, but he might as well try.

"I did forget. I had forgotten... Until this afternoon." In his mind, he could hear the stinging hollow slap Ian had delivered, and he could hear his father's words as though they had happened simultaneously. He hated feeling this way, everything was beyond his control, relying on other's for help, despondent and emotional. The turn of it was, however, that he wanted to let everything off his chest. He just didn't want others to walk in and hear, to know his secrets, secrets he knew that Nori could keep, he just didn't know if anyone else in the house would.
