"Uh-oh. We have a dilemma," she said. "How are we supposed to fly and carry that trunk at the same time?" she asked, worried.

"Okay then. No trunk. I'll just bring some currency along. Let's go," she said. She opened her bedroom balcony door and waited for Adrian to follow.

the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. "Bubble Gum?" Ladon asked in disbeleif before he tore through the house. He ended up in the kitchen to see a small little girl with two long pigtails asleep at the kitchen table. A bag sat next to her. Ladon walked over to it ad opened it. Sure enough ... a little stuffed Tiger sat there.
"I see she found a replacement." Ladon said softly as he picked up the tiger. It was identicle to the one sitting in his locker. He set the tiger down and nudged the little girl awake.
"Sunny ... sweetheart. Wake up." Ladon said softly.
Sunny rubbed her eyes Drowsily.
"Ladon ..." She said softly.
"Sunny ... " Ladon replied with a smile ...
"Don't tease!" she giggled sleepily.
"Never Sunny." Ladon replied as he scooped the little girl into a hug.
"Who's that?" Sunny asked Ladon turned to see her gaze on Taylor. ~
Taylor stood in the kitchen doorway and stared on in disbelief. This wasn't the threat he had expected. Two pairs of eyes were fixed on him, one pair wide with curiosity and the other calm above a knowing smile.
He stood frozen for a moment before he came to himself again. A soft blush came to his cheeks and he raked his fingers through this hair in an old nervous habit, then not knowing what to do with his hands, he shoved them in his pockets.
"I, uh ... I'll be in the living room," he said softly as he stepped backwards.
Once out of sight he breathed a little easier and plopped down on the couch. He didn't know the little girl and he didn't know what explanation Ladon was going to offer her for his presence there.
His call, he thought to himself.
~ Ladon scooped Sunny up and carried her to the living room.
"Taylor ...this is my sister Sunny. Sunny ... this is my ... Boyfriend. His name is Taylor." Ladon said gently, wondering how she would take the knews. Sunny looked at the new man carefully. She inspected his face thoughtfully and then smiled.
"Okay Ladon." She said smiling. Ladon grinned at her.
"Now Sunshine! The question is ... why are you here?" He asked.
"Daddy is being mean! And Mommy is working ... I don't like being with the coven ... They look at me weird. I want to be with you." She said as her little fists cluched at his shirt.
"Sunny ... your part of the coven whether you like it or not. I am too ..."
"But I don't like it!" She protested.
"I don't either Sunny but we're just going to have to deal." Ladon said sternly. Tears rolled down Sunny's face.
"Please don't take me back! Please Ladon! I'll be good! I just don't want to go back!" She cried into his shirt. Ladon's heart ripped in two.
"No Sweetheart, I won't take you back." he said softly. ~
Taylor let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding in and stood up slowly.
Well, he thought, that was easy.
He smiled softly and held out a hand to Sunny.
"Nice to meet you, Sunny," he said, shaking her hand gently.
"How old are you?"
~ Sunny rubbed tears from her cinnimon coloured eyes. She focused her gaze on Taylor.
"I'm Five." she said shakily.
"Sunny, sweeheart, why don't you take your bag to the spare room?" Ladon asked as he lowered her to the ground.
"I can stay?" She asked.
"Yes ... you can stay." He said. Sunny let out a whoop of joy and ran for her bag.
"I'm sorry that I dragged you into this." He said as he hugged Taylor. ~
"Don't worry, love, its nothing," he said, returning the hug.
He watched over Ladon's shoulder as the little girl dragged her dufflebag down the hall and peeked into each room before walking into the spare.
"She seems sweet," he whispered and kissed Ladon's neck, "but she isn't getting my spot on your bed if she has a bad dream."
His laugh rumbled through his chest and made his eyes dance as he let Ladon go.
~ Ladon looked at Taylor with a smile and kissed him deeply. He only pulled back when he heard a giggle from behind them.
"Sunny, go get you pajamas on sweatheart." Ladon said with out looking at her.
"Are you two gonna kiss and stuff?" Sunny asked with a wrinkle to her nose.
"Yes ... now scoot." Ladon said laughing. He waited until he heard the sound of little feet running down the hall before he kissed Taylor again.
"I promise, no one will take you spot if she has a bad dream .... but I can't promise that she won't sleep on top of us." Ladon said laughing.
