...Hm, is it normal to still feel anxious and jealous because (not necessarily because, but I can't really think of the right word to describe it...) of an ex, even though the break up was quite a long while ago?

Dude, I SOOO not what you're feeling! Lol, I feel like that about my ex-boyfriend, lmao. It's weird, which brings me to this point...

Ok, so there's this guy who's name I can't remember but he's pretty famous with philosophy and psychology, sooo ya. His theroy on sexuality is that there is a scale from 1-7 (1 being completely heterosexual and 7 being completely homosexual). My sexuality is like ******** retarded, some days I'll being completely repulsed and won't even notice men, other days I'll be like "He's kinda cute". The two constants are my attraction to women (mentally, emotionally, physically) and my utter disgust with the p***s (not meaning that I could never look at it, it's a human body part, but I could never touch it sexually...Oh god...). Sooo, I figure I'm about a 5/7 which is very annoying. It's confusing as ******** and I'm going to shoot myself over it. GAH! Anywho...

Point being, I totally understand what you're feeling Dream.w/in. Dream.

OMG I'M SO RETARDED! I definitly didn't see that other thread about the Kinsey theroy... stare Ya I feel stupid now, lol, especially since the numbers were off (1-7 instead of 0-6)... Oh well...

Oh my gosh, I'm so depressed. I just found out that Orthodox/Conservation/ and most other sects of Judaism don't support gay marriage. ;_;

Before I started learning a lot about Judaism, i'd always been told that Jews were typically much more accepting of gay people than well, other sects (not always, of course, but a bit of the time...). Well, my Talmud teacher today told me that that's incorrect.

Jews are just as (if not more...) against gay marriage than other groups. Ugh, this sucks...;_; They don't even really like the idea of civil unions. Well, there goes that.

I'm so depressed. x.X;;

So, anyone know of a gay friendly religion that I convert to? xD

xD I hate it. Once, I brought up the movie BrokeBack Mountain in Hebrew school, in class.

And the teacher was like "that's a disgusting movie"

But I always teased and asked him for his cellphone so I could call my girlfriend. < 3

xDD It was fun. He gave me such weird looks, and just ignored it. I don't think he knew I was serious.

I mean... I did giggle insanely for a whole class, calling my Vitamin Water my "happy juice".

So, yeah, I wasn't taken seriously. x3

But, pretty much, Judaism isn't much better, or at all better.

Hey. I am glad to have a discuassion forum just for us.

So.. i have a question for you guys and im hoping that you will have suggestions. .. me and my girlfriend just got engaged. and im not quite sure what to do. Our parents know that we are dating but we haven't told them. they just know. And my fiance still sees her family all of the time. But we are both sure that her family will flip out and like kill her for it. but we really would like for them to know. so how should we go about telling htem this information. ?? does anyone have suggestions?

Your financée's parents know she's gay and that you're together though, right? If so, then it shouldn't be as hard as you think, other than getting the conversation started.

If that's not the case, which I'm kinda assumgin it is by your assumption on the parent's reactions, then try by coming out to them first... It's better to ease into it then to rush it right? *shrugs* If you let them know your views on same-sex marriage/relationships and that it's not about sex it's about love, then it should go over more smoothly. ((I'm guessing, lol. >_<))

Don't spring it on them if possible, that's my suggestion, basically.
