Yeah, but it can get boring fast, because you have nobody else to talk to (except the other person).

Ah, so true. I guess what I mean to say is that when noone is being left out, I don't care if we're moving fast. But if someone's not there, or if I'm not there, it just feels incomplete. Like they'll/you'll never catch up.

"... I don't want to be perceived the way I am..." Once a week = moderately fast? O.o Wow, that's kinda slow to me. At least three times a day with shorter post lengths is more for me(which is probably why I haven't really gotten into any of the RPs here yet sweatdrop ) "... I just want to be perceived the way I am."

No, I never said moderately fast. I just meant a moderate pace. I had said once a week, meaning that at the very least each member of the RP posted. I don't like posts shorter than a paragraph.

WELL, there are certain circumstances in which you won't necessarily get bored when roleplaying with just one other person...
......
*cough.*

Neither do I <<;;;
Anyways I think once a week is still pretty slow... once a day would of course always be ideal, but real life can be a b***h and it messes things up even more if there are more than a handful people in the roleplay.

Yah, I like once a day. And if you can't post once a day that's no big deal, once every two days would even be fine.
(I don't RP that way either whee )
You know what's fun? RPing with only a handful of people. You're characters HAVE to interact, and the posting is usually fast, but not too fast. With lots of people, things can get messy and confusing sometimes.

I might as well throw in my two cents on the subject after that.
I agree with demonic guardian on the pace of RP. But that might be just me, since I've been doing chat roleplay or IM roleplay for all of my online experience. Forum RP is still pretty new to me, but I understand that we all gots lives outside of the computer. This'll probably be a better pace for me, though, when the semester starts up next month.
Oh school, what I can and cannot do without you. gonk

And yeah, WordBump needs to give out gold again. It's too much fun to NOT receive any gold for it. =
