Cid stayed as he was, crouched as a small flame appeared around his back in a circle. He wouldnt speak to anyone, his mind was too warped to do anything nowbut sulk. slowly he rose his head and looked to the girl, his eyes red with the pain and small tears still falling from his cheek as the rain continued on. 'He is fine, just abit shaken,' a voice said from his head to hers. It was the wolf talking but Cid didnt care to even listen.

"Shaken isn't what I was going for, buddy." Shionah was used to odd voices in her head, half of her friends having been telepathic, and didn't even draw back from it. Instead, she moved her hand wipe away a few of the man's tears and smiled, reassuring him as best she could.
"Do you not talk, or something?"

Cid looked away as his eyes continued to burn, the wind blowing straight into them. 'He does but he is stuburn and cant stand to hear his own voice at the moment,' the voice said again, 'I am his conscience for now, he is Cid,' it added. Cid clenched his fist about to slam it into his head again to shut the wolf inside up. 'I am most likely going to have to beat him back from histaria and madness,' the wolf inside laughed to himself as Cid stared off into the distance and loosened his knuckles abit.

"And why does Cid hate his own voice right now?" Shionah let her hand drop from Cid's face and sat down in the mud cross legged, her curiousity getting the better of her once again. Her tail flicked behind her, drawing up water and small pieces of mud, while her ears continously flicked as water got into them.

Cid kept his eyes away as he thought of his sins. Building them up in his head to bring himself down again. 'He ordered something bad and now he hates himself for it,' the wolf said somberly. Cid could still see the little girl dying infrint of his eyes as the teeth of the other wolf held him in place, biting into his coat and causeing him to aalmost sufficate.

"We all have done something terrible in our past. I have many memories that I can't dare to think of again, ever." Shionah pulled her legs to her chest and stared at her feet while a few old and faded memories ran through her mind, the death of her parents at her own hand sticking out clearly. She tightened her grip and closed her eyes, shutting out the memory before she became lost in it once more.
"It was my fault, all my fault. But I moved on, I know now that they're in a better place and it eases my guilty heart to know that."

Damian stepped into the West courtyard. His eyes darting from the left to the right as he tried to locate Tenza. Though not seeing her he decided to just wait for her. Turning his attention over to a nearby tree Damian headed straight for it. Finding a nice spot underneath the tree and making himself comfortable. Arms crossed over his broad chest.
Rain watched his Master and followed soon after. Taking a seat on the otherside of the tree. His soft eyes looking down at the book he had taken from the laboratory. Opening it up he began to read it, it was a very interesting book. Being about genetic enginering. Definatly something that caught Rains interest as he sat there.
He had no idea why they had come here but it didn't bother him. It was nice outside and he was actually out of the dorm room. That in itself was a real treat.

Cid reacted for once and looked back to Shionah, 'You shouldnt feel guilty either, I'm sure what ever it is that happened was unstoppable even if it looks to be,' the wolf said to her. In his mind, Cid saw the wolf and he, standing face to face as the wolf bared his teeth, yelling for him to listen. Cid's eyes that showed no emotion returned to a crimson glow as he actually looked to Shionah.

Tenza noticed Damien come back in, accompanied by some unfamiliar face. Whoever they were didn't look very well treated. A servant?
Getting up, and bringing up the invisibility illusion again, Tenza went and sat near Damien and the other person, underneath the tree.
Thinking this was just like when she followed him in the library, Tenza breathed out a short breath, and, taking a deeper one in, caused shrapnel shards to fall from the tree. or at least, an illusion of shrapnel shrad falling from the tree.

"I had the chance to stop it, but I didn't. It wasn't really my fault, more my father's than mine, but I still had a chance to stop them from dying." Shionah sighed and looked away, the memory still painful after two years.
"But, as I said, it eases my heart to know that they're in a better place and not suffering any longer." She looked to Cid and smiled, tears shining in her eyes. She gave a laugh and wiped away the tears, feeling ridiculous for almost crying.
"I guess I look like a total idiot, huh? Crying about the past when it's over and I've moved on."

Cid couldnt hold his tongue to this one as his eyes became gold and with a low worn out voice he spoke softly, "no it isnt idiodic to cry, it relieves stress and the pain of the past, I know this all too well." Cid kept his now gold eyes to hers, "dont feel down all the time about it though, I know its hypicritical of me to say that," he looked away toward the sky now, the rain steadily pouring over his face.

It had been so long Shino had forgotten what it was like to be outside...She sighed to herself walking swifly down the small walkway....Midnight was resting gently on her shoulder purring down her neck.She stopped in her tracks when she saw Cid...A gentle smile came prying across her lips.Last time she had seen him was at the music hall with her brother....which the b*****d had run off again...After the death corps most likely...Shino could feel a sad presence....As if death itself had just brushed her pale face.Her long black hair cascaded over her shoulders as she moved closer to him and the girl...Something inside her seemed to grasp her beating heart...
You need to stay out of his social life.....He doesn't need to be around you all the time....Shino's eyes went wide as she noticed it was not her own voice inside her head...She quickly dodged behind a tree crouching down low where they couldn't see her....Midnight opened his eyes yawning and streching."Shino what on earth are you doing?"Shino clamped a hand over his mouth giving him a 'shut up' look.Midnight's ears twitched as he swallowed hard and nodded his head.

Shionah stared at Cid awhile before laughing, a true laugh instead of some fake, meaningless one. She let her legs drop to cross and held her stomach, her laughing calming down after a few moments.
"I'm sorry, but you reminded me way too much of my sister. Anyways, I have let it go, but I think about what could have happened had I stopped my father. And I agree with what you say; no one can be sad all the time." She gave him a genuinly catty smile and pulled her legs back up to her chest, looking up to the leaves as her ears twisted around to listen for anyone approaching.

Shino shook her head and got out from behind the tree.She started walking down the path again and smiled at the girl with ears.A kind expression played across her snow white face...Her dark hair brought out her blue eyes..Midnight was staring at the girl with his kitty ears perked up.He wrapped his tail around Shino's next and tiled his head sideways.Shino she's a kitty person?Shino's face went blank for a moment and giggled.In a way yes...,but its not the same thing...."Hello my name is Shino..."She glanced at Cid with a bright smile then turned her attention back on the girl...

"Oh, uh, hi. I'm Shionah." Shionah noticed Shino glance to Cid and something fell into place, making her stand up and give an apologetic smile.
"I'm new around here, just exploring and stumbled upon a new friend." I really hope this girl isn't this guys girlfriend and ends up hurting me for being near him. She kept her smile on and folded her arms behind her back, hoping that Fuudai would show up soon and intervene.
