"Pretty much. I was almost about to call it quits when he popped up. I think I'll try to get more pokemon first. Nincada and Wurmple can be quite useful especially when Wurmples fully evolved. Lotad would also be ideal for Roxanne. So, what was your favorite pokemon before you got Mudkip?"

"Mine is a close race. It was either Aggron or Salamandstron ((not sure if I got it right. Look at big dragon thing in sig.)) Flygon is pretty cool too. I hope to have a final team of Swampert, Aggron, Metagross, Flygon, Salamandstron and Tyranitar." Kent looked up at the city where it was beautifully lit.

"Yeah, you're right. Actually, we could probably go straight to Dewford now, catch an aron and abra, train them and then beat Roxanne and Brawly quickly. Metal Claw is good against rock and Headbutt is not a shabby move." Kent walked with Day towards the PokeCenter.

If only Mudkip knew water gun, then Day would challenge Roxanne. A Marill jumped joyfully out of the water, and Mudkip ran to go meet it. "Mudkip, is that a friend you made yesterday?" "Mudkip!" Mudkip threw mud onto Marill playfully, and then they both ran to the water to play.

"Go on Zigzagoon, just don't get lost!" Zigzagoon's ears perked up and she ran in a little ring around Day. Then she nudged Shroomish, who followed after the Poochyenas. The pack leader saw this and growled, but when the two Pokemon didn't stop running, then the whole pack got very frightened.

Occasionally a flock of Taillow or Pidgeys would pass by, but other than that not much happened from the calm morning to the hot afternoon. Day was just about to take a nap when she felt a sharp bump on her shoulder. It was her Mudkip, but for some reason Mudkip whined as if he were in pain. Then Day saw a big gash on Mudkip's leg.

Protruding from Mudkip was a stalk of coral which Day pulled out quickly and painlessly. She had learned from girl scouts a long time ago how to make a cast. Day pulled out a bandana from her oack and wrapped it skillfully around the wound, stopping the bleeding.
