Wizard:
*Giving it a turn, his charge was back, and Wizard's fist began glowing with the blue of the electricity gathering there. With all of his might, he punches the Nightmare right in the side.*
I rolled a 6, so Crit x3
Nightmare: *has it's wind knocked out of it by the powerful blow.*
Wizard does 41+31x3 for 216 damage
Nightmare, minus Nat Def of 20, takes 196 dam, LIFE = 52, and she's stunned for another 2 turns
(Rolling 1D6: 1-3=Attacks Shion, 4-6=Attacks Wizard)

Gritting her teeth, shion just pulls her hand back, and slams it into the empty eye socket again, aiming for the brain yet again, growling under her breath.

Nightmare:*This new creature exploded in a shower of floating sparks like her predecessor.*
"Now Shion! Hit the Switch again with your Shock Blade to short circuit it, and let's see if that works!!."

Shion nodded, and summoned up the blade again, performing a diving lunge that drove the button tip first into the button, eyes closed as she did so...

Shion shakes her hand, looking at the scortch marks. "Sounds good to me. I"ll see you around then?" As she said this, she phazed out as david unplugged the headset as he fell over backwards asleep...
(Ni night! Dunno if I can make it again anytime soon. Have lots of running around to do for the next couple days!)

((Is it kind of bad to say that I totally saw something like that coming? It's the perfect storyline no matter what the outcome is in the courts. And it was the perfect setup! It's so sad, but so predictable!))
*Caneton goes back down into the basement where they have been working so hard to clean the virus out of the Main Computer. He sighs and puts the headset on, hoping that others will be able to join him. He's dying to find out what that trap was guarding in room 15.
*Wizard flipped off Caneton's shoulder into the VR World, landing gracefully in the Hallway to room 15 where they'd left off. The wall switch had ceased to spark and all seemed quiet.*

"Another Nightmare appeared after the other was destroyed. It was a replicating trap that continued until Shion short-circuited it. I'll admit that I'm curious to know what is so important back in this back room?"
