The Magical NPCman Larrisa Talbot As Talia wandered the streets in the Northeast part of the city, she saw a group of people carrying someone out of the #600 apartment block. Larrisa's voice spoke in her head, ' Something's wrong. That's Erica, the Librarian. Get closer.' Obediently, the homeless woman wandered closer to the half-dozen figures. They slipped Erica's body into a black cloth bag, and tossed her it in the back of a white van. Then with quick speed they got in and headed off. Talia watched, slack-faced, as the van drove away. A few minutes later, a man entered the building.

'Go inside,' the voice instructed, 'they may have left something behind.' "We might be able to sleep there," Talia replied, and crossed the street to enter the building.

Bobby - no, he was Blink now. Blink flitted from shadow to shadow, his dark suit helping him to blend in. I need to find a place to hole up and rest, he thought.

Baranar was walking along with Ora, Feather on his shoulder.
"For what I said before, Katherine Tate, who I'm assuming is an actress from your statements, is not our target. Your home was bugged, and while I could easily have disposed of their magical ears, I chose to leave them be and lead them astry. Our actual destination is this." Baranar then recited the address that he had learned. "The man who broke into your house lives there. He will tell us what we need to know."

"I see," Ora nodded. She glanced up at the apartment complex in front of them, it looked to be a military like complex. Standard apartments for the PSO's. "And how do you wish to proceed? with skill or with force?"

"I'm probobly going to have to torture this man for him to tell us what we want to know, so I chose not to trouble myself with subtlety." Baranar said, striding into the complex, looking around.

Ora shrugged, "personaly I prefer the god tactic, but as I have sought out your assistance, I cannot complain with what form it is given."
The complex itself is composed of mostly apartments, with one center recreational building. The quality of the apartments is obviously higher than the standardized apartments for civilians. There are no large alarm systems or the like, a few cameras, but in general people assume that folks leave the PSO's alone, considering the majority of them are armed.

Baranar quickly crossed the span between them and the man they were seeking's apartment. He knocked twice, and when he received no immediate answer ((a second or two after the first knock)), he flicked his wrist, one of the Crow's Talons appearing in it and ripped the door asunder, bursting in.

"What the hel..?!" A man sitting on a lazy boy was watching the news. He startled, and dove out of the chair towards his gunbelt, which hung on the hat rack by the entryway.
Ora kept herself outside so as not to be in the way of immediate violence. She hummed the bunny song, swinging the green bear back and forth while holding it by the ear.

She hummed the bunny song, swinging the green bear back and forth while holding it by the ear.Baranar raised his blade towards the gunbelt, Feather leaping off of his shoulder and grabbing it, growing to compensate for the size, and returning to Baranar. "Sit." He ordered calmly, pointing the blade at the man.

The man froze, he was in mid-leap so he fell to the ground, but quickly crawled back to his seat and sat down.
Ora walked in behind Baranar and quietly set up a nice illusion that the door was still in place and everything was intact, and soundproofing the area, so that whatever took place inside would not be heard outside. "The area is secure Bremwill, you are free to create as much chaos as you'd wish."

Baranar nodded to the chair the man was sitting in before, paying Oralia no heed.
"You recently broke into the home or Erica Morrow, kidnapped her, and took her to an currently undisclosed area." Baranar walked towards the man, the Crow's Talon gleaming in the light. Baranar took the gun from Feather and put it in his sleeve. The bird flew to the ground, growing so that it was as tall as the man in the chair.
"I am here to find where you have taken her. You will tell me, and you will suffer."

Baranar walked up to him, slashing the blade down with the precision of a surgeon, taking off the man's thumb. "You see, I will continue to remove body parts until you answer my questions. If you refuse, then Feather will begin to remove the more vital parts."

The man screamed, as blood shot out of the wound on his hand. "I dunno what you're talking about or why you're here...." He mumbled it together, obviously going into shock.
Ora walked up to the thumb and nudged it with the tip of her shoe, "interesting. Should I collect a lighter from the kitchen, Bremwill? It might be wise to cauterize the wounds between slices, both to hurt more, as well as to stave off blood flow. We don't want him dying before the questions can be answered."
