Yes, Harlequins guard the Black Library and they are the only ones who know where to find it.
Maybe Czevak was found worthy or he had a larger part to play in the future of the Eldar.

Well, lesser individuals had a hand at galaxy-turning events. Simple journalists attached to Horus legion.

You mean the photographer turned saint? Exactly her, and her friends... after all it was them who convinced Garro to kidnap the Eisenstein and run... So maybe really Czevak will do something really important in the future. Knowing the "lightning fast" pace of change of 40k fluff... (sarcasm off) ... it wont be coming anytime soon.

In these video Adam Troke questions designers, Phil Kelly and Jes Goodwin, about the upcoming Dark Eldar release. Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3edit. MOST interesting indeed, a great insight into the background of the new Dark Eldar.

MOST interesting indeed, a great insight into the background of the new Dark Eldar. Agreed... I saw a very nice timeline for Commorragh history in a dex, amongst loads of other fluff. DE do get not only new rules and models but a very better insight into their background with the new dex. This regrowing thing allows me to gleefully throw entire army at breakneck speed towards the enemy. So what if half of them dies , if they massacre enemy they bring up enough of the slaves to the Haemonculi to pay for "repairs".

That particular part of the discussion intrigued me to no end. They are immortal for all purposes, but at the same time can be these golems that have been created from leftover tissue.
I was also surprised by how involved and knowledgeable Jes was about this all. His involvement goes way beyond just designing the minis.

My thoughts aswell Winnie, when he announced them, I thought it would be Phil doing most of the talking with Jes pointing out some bits, but it seemed he really got into the society of the Dark Eldar, more than Phil I would say.

With Jes being involved in both the designing of the models, and the fact he got into the backstory shows he is committed and enthusiastic to the project.

It could be because Jes has spent the last decade or so working on them that might be the cause for his deep involvement.

I imagine that the Deaz refers to Juan Diaz then, that other GW sculptor that they seem to carry on their shoulders.

Well, Jes and Juan are the best GW has to offer in my honest opinion. Jes created the Astartes and Juan created my favourite models of ALL time: But yeah, GW needs to involve all aspects of creating the product more closely together. Here's hoping that they go down the same road with say the Traitor Legion codex.

back to the DE, my preliminary Wych Cult list to smash into enemy lines at top speed: lelith hesperax 175 9 bloodbrides - hw grenades, hekatrix, agoniser, raider 225 9 bloodbrides - hw grenades, hekatrix, agoniser, raider 225 10 wyches - hw grenades, hekatrix, agoniser, raider 210 10 wyches - hw grenades, hekatrix, agoniser, raider 210 10 wyches - hw grenades, hekatrix, agoniser, raider 210 10 wyches - hw grenades, hekatrix, agoniser, raider 210 10 wyches - hw grenades, hekatrix, agoniser, raider 210 10 wyches - hw grenades, hekatrix, agoniser, raider 210 ravager - flickerfield 115 total - 2000
A bit short on dark lances and blasters, but everyone save Lelith has haywire grenades... basic plan is: rush forward at max speed, kill everything. If going second, reserve everything. Probably not a tournament winning army, but certainly fun to play themed one. Now it's time to write Xmas wishlist to everyone in the family...
