Hmmm. daemon army...

The best option would be to play Wordbearers, since they can have up to nine troops choices and fielding large numbers of daemon packs is well in line with their backround. They also don't have any limitations on which daemons they can use.

Hey guys, this makes my first time on CSM thread. Here asking for suggestions as to what to do. Got a little bit of cash lately, and I was thinking of starting up a Chaos army. But I'd like it to be all daemon. As many units as possible. Got any suggestions on how that could be done?

If it's got to be 40K, you should clearly take wordbearers, as they may take additional troop choices, at the cost of heavy and fast attack I think, and therefore more deamons. But if you want an complete and purely deamon army, maybe you should choose fantasy warhammer, as there you can have a deamon host. I don't think you can do that in 40K.

Well, I think he meant in 40K. And actually, you can do an all Daemon army in 40K. Daemon Princes count, after all.

No he is 100% correct. I have read that book cover to cover about 8 times now. Storm of Iron, and Dead Sky Black Sun are my favorite books, because Honsou is my favorite character.

Dead Sky Black Sun?

Any links or info about that book? Message Me if so.

Btw, I decided on Iron Warriors, if that wasnt obvious.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT!

I was thinking of having Heavy Support choices actually. A possessed tank is actually a daemon tank afterall, so with Princes, daemon troops, possessed vehicles, etc. I was still going to try and stay a balanced force. Just one without Marines and such. Daemons only. How vulnerable would that make me on the first turn to shooting tho?

Not too bad seeing as how all deamons are invulnerable, and Bloodletters also have a 3+ armour save in addition to their invulnerable save.

Unless you are against an Inquisition force, or Eldar.

Has anyone here ever had any experience with Fabius Bile and his super marines? Are they worth it?

Yes, they are worth it. They are vicious, and I do not want to come across them again, even if I forced it on myself. They tore through my Wyches like nothing else. Good rolls helped though.

I said they tore through them. They did not survive though. I won, but that might have had something to do with lots of shooting. Anyway, I would have won either way. I was playing both.... sweatdrop Am I the only one that does that? Plays against himself that is...

Yes it is. Anyway, as it is, like I said, they tore through the wyches, and I only had two models left, but then again, out of twenty, no surprise. There were only ten of those mutant wannabes anyway...
