It didn't snow that much last night, so I didn't miss *too* much fun. I spent the day sleeping in front of the TV and watching Japanese and other language news. (And I could barely walk, let alone jump into the snow, Elie. rofl )
The cleaners came whilst I was there.... Wow... They can be summed up in one word: Efficient. They were so quick. And one of them patted the ice on my knee as she walked past. How nice. whee
I'm back to my humdrum life tomorrow. First there is the 24 hour flight back to the good ol' Aus, then through Customs (I wonder if they'll question me on the bandage I'll be wearing around my knee- I might have drugs underneath it razz ).

*waves from Hong Kong*
Whee!!! What a world traveller this thread is. razz
I'm currently waiting in the Hong Kong International Airport for my flight back to Australia. It is going to be a *fun* 10 hours. sweatdrop
Not... I'm desperately hoping they'll do what they did last year with our flight and bump us up to Business Class... That was soooooo good. I put on important airs too. Don't want to mix with those Economy Class people. *sniffs and puts her nose in the air*
lol
Happy wedding anniversary, Angelgirl! Unfortunately V-Day for me is just the same as any other day. Actually, it is on the 14th isn't it? If so, then I spent it flying in cramped conditions. How romantic. rofl
Hope everyone has a lovely V-Day. You'll surely have better ones than I did.

thank you all! Jeff and I woke up at 6:30 this morning 30 minutes before he had to leave for work. I made him a lunch and we snuggled on the couch till he had to leave. Later today I will be getting ready to make him a special dinner. I bought some chicken breasts with bacon wrapped around them and ingredients for a yummy lookin pasta dish and stuff for a chocolate cream pie (at his request). I cant wait till he gets home.
Tomorrow we will be going out with members from our Church for our anual Church Valentine's Banquet and then on Saturday Jeff is going to take me to my favorite restaurant, Carinos... we ate there the night of our wedding.
Hope you all have a fabulous day! and Have a safe flight SummerKnight~!

Summerknight Your wedding anniversary sounds so romantic, Angel. *swoons* Oh it was romantic! Although... I forgot about the candles... so we had a normal lightbulb lit dinner wink Dinner was sooo good. And there are left overs! *yay* lunch for me! He jumped in the shower while I was finishing dinner and when he came in to eat... he was dressed in a suit! Now I was dressed up in strappy heals and a cute skirt... but I would have been fine if he wanted to get in some jeans or pajama pants. Before we ate he prayed over our meal... and his words were so beautiful I cried. After dinner we exchanged gifts... he loved his (a home made picture frame made by his dad, with our names and the date of our wedding on it with a picture from our wedding) and he had bought me a beautiful pink teddy bear thats holding a hear that says "hug me" (and I did!) He thought that since he bought them on the way home that they wouldnt be considered thoughtful... but he was wrong! I LOVE pink... and the teddy bear is sooo adorable and SOFT! I love soft things and he remembered that. it was such a great evening. Tonight is our Church's Valentine Banquet. Jeff and I are going.... since I planned it. And then Saturday night he is taking me to Carino's... my favorite restaurant... and the restaurant we ate at the night of our wedding. I hope you all had a fantastic Valentines day!

LOL. Thank you, Citrinia, although I didn't quite make it home sound...
I'm still limping and I can't straighten my leg yet. I'm hoping it is only due to swelling and not because the torn cartilege has gotten stuck somewhere it shouldn't have. If I can't straighten it soon then I'll have to have an arthroscopy (they stick a miniscule camera and scalpel type thing in my knee and have a look and cut away the ripped cartilege).
It was a good thing that day's skiing was phenomenal.

Wow, AMA... I think your healing spell actually worked on me for a bit today. I thought I could straighten it again and was all happy, and then it got worse.
It could be that I was in the ocean for quite a few hours when I thought it was better. Probably all that cold water reducing the swelling or something.
But thank you for the spell. Keep 'em coming! heart
Congrats Angel on getting #82.
*prays for her number to come up*
