Alexander leaped off the roof of a passing ferry, soaring through the sky up to the top of the Statue of Liberty. As he landed casually on the head, he turned to Jagger; "You know this gives a very nice view of the city from here." He said as he gazed at the glittering city from the top of the statue.

Jagger gazed off into the distance at the beautiful lights infront of her.She watched with tender eyes as the cars whizzed by with the mortal and immortal mixed together.She smiled softly and slowly nodded once."Yes..It does...Now I know what I was missing.."she said quietly.
She turned her head and her lips parted with amazement as she gazed at Alexander.The lights casted a beautiful glow upon his figure that complimented him extremely.His eyes seemed to sparkle like stars and his skin seemed so smooth.He looked like an angel out of a painting.
Jagger knew she was staring too much too long but she found that she couldn't look away.He was so...compelling.

"What?" He said calmly as he noticed that Jagger was staring at him. He was glad that he was able to bring some peace to her, as he saw how amazed she was to see the beautiful city. He hoped he would be able to talk to her about what had happened to her but knew that she would have to tell him when the time came him and not when he wanted it.

"You're...."Jagger whispered,but fell silent,unable to think of a word to describe his beauty.She had absent mindedly been leaning toward him when her hand slipped out from under her,causing her to slip off the top of the statue.
In an instant,she elegantly jerked her hand out and caught the side of it just before she began to fall.She leaped up and landed with grace next to Alexander.Her cheeks on fire she looked away with embarrassment.
"I'm sorry.You'd think after so many centuries I wouldn't be so clumsy."she sighed,feeling her throat begin to work once more.She looked back at him and smiled."Now...What did you want to talk about earlier?"

"Well... I want to know whats been going on lately with you Jagger? I'm worried" He said softly. He did not want to push this too far, fearing that she would get upset and leave so he proceeded slowly. He truly wanted to help her, in any way possible. She was his friend, one that he did not believe he deserved but one that he had nonetheless, he was glad that he did.

Father said this would happen....I just didn't want to believe it.she thought to herself.Jagger knew what he was talking about,but she stared at him with confused eyes,hoping they would not betray her."What do you mean?"she asked,her tone still calm and friendly.

"That vial Armand gave you. And how you blacked out during that fight we had?" He said as he noticed Jagger's calm voice, which would hopefully stay that way so that he may understand what has happened to his friend.

Jagger sighed and,not being able to look at his eyes,looked to the sky.Her eyes became soft and tender once more."Tell me...Do you believe in the devil,Alexander?The God of the underworld?"her voice quiet as memories flashed through her mind.

"Considering all the stuff that is going on in this city, I kind of have to" He said jokingly though not smiling, as he tried to catch Jagger's gaze. He was not sure where this was going but then remembered what the lycan had said in the park, calling her the devil. He did not take much into that since the lycan was obviously angry.

"Some of it... I suppose but not all of it" He said as he began to think about the city, not all of this could be the work of the devil. He was never that religious compared to other people but he found peace in it at time of hardship.

"Do you wonder what the Devil looks like at times,Alexander?Wonder if she has horns,red skin,maybe even firey hair?"she said absentmindedly.The moon was full above them as a soft breeze blew,brushing against her skin.She looked out into the distance at the buildings,admiring their texture.The moonlit rays beat down on her,causing her hair to reveal small strands of orangy hair mixed in with the gold.
