Nini stood and followed Kibo out of the tavern. She smiled at him when he turned to see if she was still there. I wonder how this will go... she thought nervously.

Kibo walks up to the harbor, and wtops at ont of the docks, pointing out towards the sea, at the sillhouette of a ship on the horizon.
Kibo: That's the ship you'll be serving on. The Dreadnaught. Let's go.
Kibo walks to the edge of the dock, and unsheathes his blades. He switches which blade was held in which hand, and resheathes them in the opposite scabbards. They begin to glow, and large, clear wings appear on Kibo's back. He turns, and holds out his hand towards Nini.
Kibo: Come on. It's the quickest way to the ship.

Philly entered the cavern, knowing he more likely than not would be regretting it. He disliked caverns such as this much because of the two different kind of people it contained: 1) Folks who are over friendly and a little full of rum, and 2) folks who sit in the corners and try to appear mysterious, both in reality just was of getting attention from others. Humans wasted too much time on worrying about being in the spotlight.

Nini's eyes widened when she saw the wings appear on Kibo's back. She rubbed her eyes, thinking that she was just halucinating again.
"I'm really thinking that I've had too much rum. I'm going to wake up tomorrow and this will all be some crazy rum-induced dream," her heart sank at the thought.
But, taking Kibo's hand, she began to think that this might actually be real, and her hopes were lifted.

Gwendolyn watches Kibo and Nini leave the tavern. After a few moments, Gwendolyn gets up herself. As soon as she walks out the door she spreads her angel wings and silently glides toward the ship. She gets to the ship before Kibo and Nini do. She stands at the wheel waiting....

Kibo smiles and flings Nini onto his back, flying effortlessly towards the ship, he lands, helps Nini off, and unsheathes his blades, making the wings disappear. He looks over at Gwendolyn, and smiles.
Kibo: Gwen! Before you set off here, I have a question for you. We recently conquered another ship, and we're in need of a captain. Would you like the job?

Nini was amazed by the feeling of flight, and was almost disappointed when they landed.
She glanced over at Gwendolyn when they landed. How did she get here? Is she another member of this little group?

Why, I would be honored, Cap'n. By the way, when did you happen to conquer this ship?
Gwendolyn turns her head to face Nini.
Why of course I'm part of Cap'n Kibo's crew. If I were not I wouldn't be here now would I? And of course I should have my own means of transportation as well. If you would like to know I have my own pair of wings.
She sprouts her angel wings and hovers a few feet in the air.

Nini stepped back a little when Gwendolyn rounded on her. Her manner seemed a bit rough, but Nini realized that she had meant no harm.
"How do you manage to get wings?" she blurted out, immediately feeling like a stupid little girl.

Why, we conquered it, of course! Seems our old friend Forn clawed his way out of hell, and got a cute little crew together. Nothing we couldn't handle, though.

Oh, of course Cap'n.
Gwendolyn turns back to Nini.
How did I get these wings? I was born with them. I've always had this power and my sister knew it right away even before I realized it myself. 'Course, it really is thanks to me sister that I can control these powers properly now. I pay a dear price for it though. Pain.

Storm materialized near the trio holding her bloodied left arm, but grinning.

Kibo: Pain is the body's way of telling you, "Hey, idiot! Stop whatever you're doing!" Although "no pain, no gain" is a good philosophy sometimes, it's not for all occaisions.

Gwendolyn pointed her nose up in the air, indignant.
I am not stubborn! I just refuse to have anything to do with Necromancy or any of that sort. My wings are angel's wings not devil's. And I can't help it if my powers require a price. I was born to die early anyway.
