Hoshimi looked down at the apple that suddenly appeared in her hand before glancing up at Pademelen and smiling a little warily, grateful when she saw Mick toss the vendor a coin and reminded herself to pay him back at some point soon. As Mick offered to give her a tour of Laburnum, Hoshimi nodded and smiled enthusicatically. "That would be most pleasurable. Thank you muchly" Trying to get some common out, though she knew it sounded odd. Company would be much appreciated after her previous experiences in the city.

Pademelen inclined his head. "I would be honored to have you as a guide, Sir Brightman. It has been a long time since I spoke to someone involved deeply with magic." He paused. "I trust I will not regret this decision."

Politics here were going to be dangerous, he knew, and this tie to the Water mages had him feeling distinctly uncomfortable.

"Great!" the moon mage said, clasping his hands together. "For our first stop on the tour, we'll go to a quaint outdoor restaurant that serves some of the best Western pastas outside of palace walls. Don't worry, it's my treat. If you see anything interesting on the way, let me know and we can make a stop. Follow me, if you please."

Hoshimi quirked an eyebrow, not really certain what to say but bowed politely and began to follow after the two men. Despite her own stature in the temple, she thought it best to let the men guiding her do as they wished. She wasn't sure of what he meant by Western pasta but she was still hungry again. SHe was feeling a bit fidgety anyways, seeing as how she hadn't been moving as much lately, other then walking. Far more used to excercising and such. So she simply followed, as regal as any princess but quiet and humble appearing.

((sorry...rough week for me.))

Yuri wandered the streets of Laburnum as he had so many times before. The young poet had been here for a little over 2 months, living in a local inn and writing his poetry by moonlight, as he wandered the city searching for inspiration by day. He had encountered a young girl who feared her own power, and though he plied her to let him be her guide and aid her in her magical development, she refused him, but that was alright. He longed only to be near the trees and plants whose blood ran in his veins.

Sabatini was strapped to his back, the comfort of his battle staff and only memento of his mother motivating him to keep going. The path he was walking on had many cracks, and up through it were growing small weeds. He knelt down beside them and whispered to them softly, in the tongue of the trees. They rustled gently in response, and he smiled, laying his hands on them and chanting. They slowly rustled and grew, changing into a small bonsai at a touch of his hands. "There..." he whispered, "No one will try to uproot you now..." He looked around and noticed all of the cobblestones were in disarray. He hurriedly rearranged them around the base of his new tree, making it appear as if it had always been there, and kept walking, his stride vivacious and peppy.
