Oh you have no Idea how crazy me and my bro are when we get ahold of fire works. We have ended up with sulfur burns that took months to heal and we have almost destroyed everything from cars to houses to horses!

I think the most dangerous stunt we did was actually by accident while celebrating new years in AR...

I am sure that most of ya'll have seen the fireworks that are sold as a tube and shells. They are often called mortars or magnums. Well I bought a double set one year. I had 40 shells and two tubes! I spent 80 bucks on that thing.

I had spent most of the night shoting my magnums as everyone else in the family was shotting little rockets and sparklers. Most everyone else out there in the feild was afraid of the large shell and the exposions they caused. The tube would often hop almost a foot of the ground from the launching blast.

My brother waen't afraid though... and he wanted to try this high powered toy out. So we got my dad to come out and supervise... This is where the fun starts.

I handed my brother a shell and he began to unwind the fuse as I explained the how to load the shell to him. He simply nodded and walked over to the tube and placed the shell inside. I didn't think to check how the shell was loaded and gave him the lighter.

After a few moments the launching blast was heard. The launch tube hopped almost 4 feet into the air and the shell only made it to about 12 feet before it started it's decent. This isn't good my brother loaded the shell upside down! My dad and bro were only a few feet away from the shell.

I grabbed my little brother and pulled him behind me as I told my dad to run. My dad took cover in the field and Jake clung to my in a way that kept me from running.

Five seconds after launch shells detonate. This was now at 4 to 6 feet and eye level with everyone in the field. The shell exploded and we were all very lucky. My brother had selected a dragon's claw shell they only have four balls of fire and they missed everyone in the area.

My uncle still laughs to this day. He and my grandparents were sitting on the porch watching us an they said the flashing strobe flare of the shell made the scene seem like a stop motion picture. Needless to say the tube was toast and jake still doesn't fire magnums for the 4th. He was 12 then he is 17 now.

Yeah... I think my family are born indestructable.

*Turns to look at Eve*

"Hello and how's it goin'? The name's Paladin what can I get for ya?"

*walks over to the counter and pours the coffee in a ceramic mug* Cream? Sugar? *sweetens it to Willow's taste and hands the mug to her* Here ya go. Just a minute, and I'll get that bagel for you. *pulls one out of a glass box nearby and wraps it up in a napkin and hands it to her with a small tub of cream cheese and a butterknife* *smiles* Enjoy!!

Ooooh I'm all happy and warm inside now. whee
-Takes a sip of her coffee and then a bite of her bagel and grins.-

*Walks over to Lyn and puts his hand on her shoulder*

"I will forgive and forget this time, but next time...I will give you a noogie (head rubbin') that you won't soon forget... understood?"

"Or worse... I could play the llama song!"

*Holds up a home made cd labeled 10 songs of torture*

-Laughs- After babysitting Barney loving kids I think I can handle that one. And a noogie because of my dad, and probably other torture music.

I'd end up breaking them down and describing every detail in theory order. gonk
