@JK: Heheh, the omens, on yay!
Yeah, I can see how you would feel that way. Just major changes in parodies usually don't bother me as long as they're funny enough.

@Morgey: Not the windows again! gonk We like... are gonna have to order some glass replacements again!

@JK: The red hoodie got shredded?! D:

Yea...and like I said, I'm not that far into AVMP yet...so if it gets funny enough I'll probably feel the same way, I just don't find it all that funny thus far. I like the songs, but that's about it.

Yay glass replacements!

Boo dead hoodie!! Yes sorry Kits, the hoodie did meet a gruesome fate. Jagged broken window glass + hoodie = questionable results. But perhaps the sewing zombies can come and save the day!!!

*runs away before receiving weird looks about so-called sewing zombies*

I do feel that the musical gets funnier as it goes, especially scenes involving Quirrel and Voldemort.
That sounds adorable! Like little zombie servants that do your sewing for you! X3

Voldemort and Quirrel do indeed appear as if they'll be a rather fun highlight.

I thought it'd be adorable, and it'd subside a little of that fear the zombies are imposing on our guild, making them serve us and all ^_~.

Oh yea, had a dream last night. YGO related I guess?

In brief I dreamed that Megami was teaching me and this other girl to play the YGO Duel Monsters card game. No idea who the other girl was, I've never seen her but don't know her to be one of Meg's friends. There were also an assortment of 4 other people actually playing next to us, but they already knew how. I remember being very frustrated and thinking this game was illogical and ridiculous.

That's about all I remember, haha. Although I did have an exboyfriend who taught me how to play a long time ago, I wasn't THAT frustrated, and while the game wasn't exactly the most fun I've ever had, it made sense. More so than the show ^_~.

Sounds like a silly dream. XD
And real life Duel Monsters is so much more logical than the show's version. XD Like... it has set rules and balances things so much better. There's tons of little mini rules that you learn the more you play, and even now I still learn new things about specific cards and rulings. It's so much fun; what I really love about Duel Monsters compared to other TCGs is that you can so easily turn the duel around in your favor when you're losing. It's difficult to do that in other ones like Magic and Pokemon.

It was, but the two that came after it were even sillier. However not even slightly YGO related and kind of complicated to detail, in their weird factors that confused even me.

Yea, I used to play with my friend's brother's "better" deck. My boyfriend was friends with her brother, and he would make him give me that one. So I could crush the brother whose other deck was too lame even against my lack of skill, but not my boyfriend. Although I think I beat them both once, completely on accident, was excellent. Indeed the game did make much more sense, never really got into it, I didn't want to make the financial investment card games require. Plus I have minimal patience, so the time required to acquire an acceptable deck would also drive me insane. I also had nobody to play with on a regular basis anyhow. But yes, the game did make sense, I have learned how to play, so that dream was really weird.

Speaking of dreams and zombies ((what we were speaking of zombies? Of course, we are always speaking of zombies ^_~. BE QUIET INNER MONOLOGUE!!!)), I had a FANTASTICALLY awful zombie dream last night. Scared me SO bad, and then I was awake at 5:42am and couldn't go back to sleep. Was nervous about every little sound and quake I could hear, bah! Why can't I ever wake up from zombie dreams into daylight?! Where people are naturally awake and I can make sure all is well?!? stressed . Anyhow yea, definitely nothing funny or cute, no sewing zombies whatsoever. The end of this dream there was this large bonfire where survivors were gathering and making music and just being loud and ridiculous. I'm there with some woman, don't know who she is, and all of a sudden a rumble comes from this giant cushion thing (that's wrapped in that space blanket like material) and out pops one zombie. Only one, but it's pandemonium. I grab the woman who I guess I know in the dream world at least and we start to run, and then I force myself to wake up because I can't take it anymore. In spite of this being awake was much worse than being asleep, I was powerless and in my pjs. Stupid zombies mad .

I see. ^^ I am way too obsessive to not have built a deck that really suited me. Luckily it was back in the day where I didn't really anything else to spend money on. I met a high school group to play with, but most of the people in it were annoying, and now I really only play regularly with one of my friends. Apparently another couple of our friends used to play, so they're trying to find their decks so we can play with them too.
OMG scary zombie dream is scary! D: Hope you are getting better sleep now.

Exactly, I myself am obsessive. So I just avoided the whole thing to not drive myself up a wall. I guess had I had other people into the whole collecting/playing thing I might have gotten into it as well. However I didn't. Even the ex who taught me how to play, it was sort of in between when I had originally been into YGO in the middle of HS and when I got back into it in the middle of college. And I didn't want to go out of my way to play with them, which is good, considering our break up always seems to be complected. So my money has always mostly gone to books and DVDs. That's cool that you might be adding new people to your circle though. I guess 2 isn't a circle, but now you can make one! razz

In brief, last night I had a dream that ended with my friend and I playing with her pet bear. Then dream me had the sudden realization that "this is a reoccurring dream," and then I woke up. Now I have to wonder if I've had that dream before o_O.

Makes sense then. I was just so completely obsessed with YUU*GI*OU that I had to do anything that had to do with it. XD I think that's calmed a little bit (still haven't seen Genex, 5D's, or Capsule Monsters), but it's still my favorite fandom.
Crazy dream. XD Wow, that's quite amusing.

Yea, I usually don't obsess outside my specific series enjoyment (other than letting a manga getting me into an anime or visa versa). I've never seen any of the spins, I think I saw clips of GX and it was just too ridiculous for me. I don't like things like that in general, spin offs based on all new characters. It's why I stopped watching Skins (this British drama my friend got me into) after season 2, other than keeping the little sister of one of the main characters, they replaced the entire cast. At least for season 3, not sure about season 4, it's yet to start (even though Season 3 ended last March, but it's still projected to, idk). Again character-based, so chances are if what I'm attached to our the characters I'll just be irritated my loves are gone and yet I have pretty much the same world/plot.

My version of obsession is to just reread (and in rare instances rewatch) things over and over again until the feeling subsides...and then of course a lot of the big things I can get into all over again after time has passed where I no longer have everything memorized verbatim.

Yeah, I'm definitely more character-attached than plot-attached. When comparing YUU*GI*OU's plot to other series, I definitely feel that I would've preferred some of those other series if it weren't for the characters. Like I do enjoy the plot and the card game enough to be interested in Genex and 5D's, but it will just never hold the same weight for me as the original series, and I'm not stumbling over my feet to try and watch them.

Yea, I've never found a spin off that had better characters than the original. Ok characters, likable characters, maybe. But not better, and without being better it just hardly seems worth it for me.

Last night I was dreaming something...I no longer remember what, it could have been awesome, it could have been Yu-gi-oh related! But then, all of a sudden, the error screen that's been coming up on my laptop lately came up and erased my dream. It was so NOT cool. ~_~
