Instrument(s): Through the years I've played [violin], clarinet, french horn, trumpet, and trombone(for trombone I stil have to write in all the slide positions because I don't read bass clef and have only been playing for like 2 months...actually playing the trombone seems really easy...I really have to learn bass clef though. sweatdrop ). Currently I'm only playing trumpet and trombone for my band though. (Trombone for Jazz Band)

(I can play all my trumpet music on the euphonium too...I can't read bass clef very well though, so I probably couldn't play music for it if you put a sheet of it in front of me)

Personality: I'm not really a people person...I'm kinda sarcastic, don't deal well with idiots (not that I'm saying anyone here is an idiot...), and have absolutely no common sense. When people meet me I usually give them the impression that I'm completely nuts within the first ten minutes some how...

Any other Additional Info: I'm an incoming freshman at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where I'm planning to study Japanese and Spanish. Of course I'm going to bring my trumpet along and play there in whatever groups I can find. I have a short attention span, and so usually only play my instruments for a few years before deciding it's time to teach myself a new one...I don't give them up completely though--I just tinker with them in my fee time rather than really playing...I'm really quick at learning new ones. I think the fastest was my first band instrument (clarinet)...I went through my "Standard of Excellence" book and could play everything in it in a month. The first night I had my clarinet I figured out how to play six songs...I also sing some (not very well though) I was in select chorus all through middle school and was accepted to join (but couldn't because of my schedule) the Chamber Choir at my high school. I have an alto/mezzo soprano voice, and tend to sing really loud in comparison to the people around me. Maybe it's because I also do musical theater. I'm a nerd all around really, not just a band nerd...

What Your Uniform Looks Like: I'm just starting marching band this year... They're, uh, purple and white? and pretty. I like them. ninja / symphonic & concert- black skirts and white ruffly shirts with some sort of purple ...thing.

Personality: 'The self proclaimed queen of colors'. I'm shy, but once I warm up to people I never shut up. I love rambling about anything, usually my hair or whatever I feel like complaining about. I have a very strange personality. I try to be nice to everyone, but if you get me mad I'll go on about how I'd love to put you through large amounts of pain. Instrument(s): Tuba is the instrument I play in band (Yes, a real live tuba chick!), but I've taught myself how to play the trumpet and baritone.

What Your Uniform Looks Like: Our formal-wear is a long fitten black gown, but it has an odd cape-looking thing on the back. Our casual uniform is a black polo with black pants. (We're not a marching band since we're in an Arts school, so our uniforms are a bit different.)

Favorite Song to Play: I have too many favorites...but for some reason I always remember "Disney At the Movies"...it's an 8th grade memory even though I'm a sophomore now.

Interests: Reading, hanging out with friends, being on the computer, drawing, writing stories, listening to music alone, admiring nature.
