It all depends on the situation. If it's one ninja against a bunch of pirates, ninja all the way. But if it's a mass amount of pirates --with no alchol-- against any number of ninja's --meaning more then one-- then it's easily going to be pirates.
Or say night and day. Ninja will always win at night. Stupid dark, stealthy people. [sorry had to throw that in for the Twilighters!] But if it's day time, then totally pirates.
But mainly pirates will win because they have guns and a ship --with a 'p' not a 't'-- load of ammo, but if it were hand to hand, then it would totally be ninja. No doubt at all.

If we're referring to Johnney Depp as a pirate, then it's definently going to be ninjas.
They could sneak up on him at night while he's a asleep and kill his pansy a**.
I think there should be more things added to the fray like werewolves and vampires.
Because, yeah, 90% of the females in this guild will choose vampires as the winners.
But that's off-topic.

Although..
