1. This tangles up on your dragon's tail and foot. You immediately blink Between, with the injury hurting your dragon, but not enough to slow you down. Light Damage - 2 HP
2. This hits your dragon's face and eye! Your beast screeches in pain, and hops immediately back to the Weyr. Moderate Damage -5 HP It's up to you on how much face damage it does. If their eye is okay, they can return to their Wing. If there's eye damage, or possible worse damage than listed, have them land to get checked by a healer.
3. The Threadfall hits your leg and your dragon's shoulder! It burns in deep, but your cries of pain can't be heard in the cold of Between. Moderate Damage: -6 HP
4. Thread hits your leg and side, as well as your dragon's back and shoulders. Though you immediately jump between, some of the Thread is partially protected by your riding gear. As you return from its cold, and continue on the fight, it takes a moment to realize the wriggling Thread has eaten through your clothes, and is starting to burrow into you!!! GET BACK BETWEEN AND BACK TO THE WEYR TO BE DUNKED! Major Damage: -12 HP Your next post must be with the healers so you can get dunked into the pools, in hopes of drowning the borrowing Thread. Death is also an option.

Nothing to flame quite yet, which is almost a miracle in this sort of Threadfall. Still, you're able to relax a moment, look around, and take note of your airspace. All's well... for now.
There was a moment to catch their breath--and though Macuith had taken some light damage, C'lusi felt confident about their chances. It was rough up here... but it could have gone a lot worse.

1-4. Automatic KO or Death! You either lost yourself Between due to the crazy conditions; or you wound up missing a major sheet of Thread due to the darkening skies.
The change over from high altitude to mid altitude proved to be too much for Hiraeth. Where he had been surprisingly fine so high up, as he appeared in formation -- what the little blue hadn’t expected was the massive sheet of thread ready to greet him. The young blue tried valiantly to twist and roll out of the way again, but it seemed his luck had run out. Where he’d been able to twist out of the way before, the wind caught his wingsails and ballooned him up -- smacking him square across the back. Hiraeth screeched as it tangled and fouled up his wings, eating into the membrane. It bit and ate into his back, down to his hips and even beginning down the base of his tail. It wrapped around Ky’ess’ shoulder and arm, and began to sink in across his back. His riding jacket provided such little resistance, as Ky’ess struggled for rational thought. His body felt as if it were on fire.
’Between, Hiraeth!’ The mental image is as clear as he can, for it was dark, and his mind muddy from pain and shock. Hiraeth was quick as he could to disappear between, so that the sheet of thread would be nullified. Gone a breath, two, three…
After a fifth breath, finally emerged the blue pair, though grey from pain, his eyes dulled. There’s an initial moment where he tried to beat his wings, tried to keep on fighting -- but there’s not enough simply there in all the holes to keep himself aloft, and there’s no energy in him to fight and panic as he began to fall. No, he’s tired -- and can only tried to shelter Ky’ess’ pain-weary mind as they begin to plummet.

Ngawanth ached as she fought and ducked and danced and wheeled and did her very best to stay in position and fight thread as she was needed. But it hurt more than she was willing to let on and eventually it wore her down to the point that even she was thinking very loudly HEALERS.

Thanks to all the winds her wings were wrenched here and there and everywhere, the long green got pulled out of formation and it felt as though someone pinched her right wing violently. It almost sent her into a downward spin as she attempted to correct the cramped muscle and keep them both aloft.

A green flame burst right beside Ngawanth's head and V'gar yelped as the green dropped like a stone, twisting as she went so that neither of them felt the scorching burn of their wingmates flame as they came from Between shooting it like mad. The green was furious but there was nothing she could do in the moment.

As you're flying, the wind picks up again, trying to knock you out of formaiton! If 36'-46', you're able to fight the wind with relative ease. Unfortunately, the nearby Threadfall gets blown into your side and haunches -- and you were too big to move out of the way. Ouch, does that not burn!? Moderate Damage -8 HP
The wind wouldn't have been bad. It was the large amount of Thread blown into both rider and dragon that stung and made Dormith howl with pain before they went Between to clear it - hopefully.

A larger clump of Thread falls down hard and fast. Thankfully, your dragon is on top of it, and manages to hit the target with a large belch of flame just as it passes. [+1 Target Accuracy]
At least they could hit just as hard back, Dormith burning some Thread to ash in retribution for his own hide.

You notice one of your wingriders is in need! Three clumps of thread are heading straight for them, while they are flaming down another impressive sheet. Ah, but your dragon is clever, and quick, and manages to flame all three down with short spits of fire. If a brown, or bronze, you can't quite get over there in time. You call out to warn them, and manage to at least catch one clump while your wingmates blink Between. [+1 Target Accuracy]
While Dormith wasn't nimble enough to flame all of the Thread that went sailing down, getting one of them and a wingmate out of trouble was a perfectly fine option too.

Thread falls, and a sneaky strand winds up chewing on your wingsail. You pop Between to ease the pain, and come out flaming. It hurts, but it's small tubers compared to what it could have been! +1 Pain Resilience]
A small strand of Thread on his wingsail was nothing that couldn't be Betweened away, especially after that nastier hit earlier.
