THROWDOWN - JUNE 28th, 2018

On a Friday Night Throwdown episode, Chris Jericho would return with the Highlight Reel as his guest for the night would be Sting. The two would talk about Sting's WrestleMania match with Edge and what Sting would see himself doing for the future of CWF after calling off his retirement. After some thing Sting would say that would unintentionally get under Jericho's skin, Jericho would retaliate with a flurry of words and the two would be set to face off on the next Friday Night Throwdown show. Kurt Angle and Dolph Ziggler faced off in a well scouted match of witts, but in the end, Kurt Angle would walk out victorious over "The Show Off." Afterwards, the CWF Champion Matt Gennison would have some mic time, touching on his Bragging Rights opponent, the CWF World Heavyweight of Monday Night WAR, Joey Garcia sending shots to the brand. Becky Lynch would have some mic time of her own afterwards, touching on her Bragging Rights opponent, the CWF WAR Women's Champion Stephanie McMahon, and letting the audience know that she would be defending the CWF Throwdown Women's Championship at Summerslam to any challenger in the back, and within a few moments, Sasha Banks theme song would hit the PA system, and the two would be set to have their rematch. Within a few moments, the two would actually be interrupted by Stephanie McMahon, in which she would get in the mind of both women, looking to enrage the fire within for them to tear each other apart at Summerslam. And in the main event, The Undertaker would defeat Drew McIntyre in a nice and steady back and forth contest that would eventually be mostly dominated by the Undertaker.
