"I do not think any garden would survive this storm undamaged, with preparation maybe and even with that there is a small chance." Summer said mostly to her self she was worried about the storm hoping the plant life on the island would be ok. Summer nodded she had not been on her feet since the beginning instead sitting in seats available behind the stage. So she knew were there was seating. "I know were we can get off our feet." She motioned to the seating area with her free hand. "There we can talk about what we should put in your garden that might survive."

Xylia nodded her head and lightly patted her shoulder overhearing bits and pieces that told her that Summer was concerned about the plant life "I'm sure, the plant life on the island will alright. If not they can always replant those that got damaged" she told the fae. She side stepped a little so the other could lead them to a place where they can sit down.
"That would be most helpful right now" she told the other, she glanced around at the other pae most seemed startled by the sudden storm others were going about their partying like the storm didn't phase them that much and it was something they were use to. She jumped a little into the air and her wings flitted as she followed Summer to the seating area.

Paloma laughed, and was about to make a witty comment, but was pricked by something in her side. She jumped and put her hand to her side, but felt nothing. Shrugging it off, she looked back up at Lagoon.
And saw her in a much different light. She'd desired her before, to be sure, but this was different. She felt a warmth deep in her soul for the femme before her. She smiled a bit of a silly smile, totally over the moon for her. "Well, it might be a small fishing village, but I can say for certain there is something beautiful there," she said, beaming at Lagoon and putting a hand on hers.
She'd never felt this way about anyone. It came on so suddenly, but stranger things had been known to happen. Was this...was this love? Paloma felt like her heart might burst from swelling with warmth and joy. She was so incredibly lucky to have met Lagoon, and could only hope she felt the same way.

[Arrow Effect: HIMEROS - LUST]  "Uh..." he looked away, twiddling with the straw in his drink before taking a rather large drink of it. He nodded, biting his lip and trying to hide how hot and bothered her gaze made him feel. It may have been futile, however, as even his ears seemed to glow with a tinge of red.
His gaze seemed to lose some focus as she brought up some other, more difficult subjects: his childhood, loneliness, the attack. He understood his parents had tried the best they could and given him nothing but love, but that love had also come with enough pain that he sometimes wondered if it was even worth it. Even now, he was sure they worried about him while he was here, disappointing them, not simply talking with one of the enemies, but feeling such urges towards one.
The easiest way to avoid all of this would be to simply walk away, pretend she had never spoken with him, and let things move on as they would. Yet, he couldn't bring himself to fight against the way his body screamed at him to take her.
He was absolutely disgusted with himself.
Even now, her praising of him brought on such a rush that he could barely contain himself. Even restraining the conversation was becoming difficult as his body tried to have him find a way to have her submit to him. "The older two are Ranuin and Ayala... They... Look similar to you." Setting the drink down, he used his free hand to motion to her tail. "The younger ones are Faelon and Haldir. None of them are here, of course they aren't. Our father is already in the dungeon for talking with a blood pae, who knows what the punishment would be for attending such a gathering of them...."
"Or doing anything further with one..."
He placed his hands on his forehead, appearing to be dealing with a headache. Perhaps not a severe one, but one nonetheless. "If they knew I was here..." ...thinking these thoughts... Momo had somehow wandered back to where he started. He grinned when he saw the red dreads. He knew thay luxurious head of hair. He'd know it anywhere. It was... It was.... Crap. He'd i troduced himself to so many pae that he had forgotten thw ones that counted. Oh well. He'd make it work. He'd make anything work for those steong, load bearing wings and that shapely, strong tooshy standing in front of him. Walking up behind...the starry girl, he wrapped his arms arou d her and whipsered "Star light, Star bright. First star I see tonight. I wish I may. Iwish I might, have the wisb I wish tonight." There. That seemed daring and risky. That was attractive, right? Woman loved poetry.

The conversation seemed to have taken an awkward turn when they asked him about his father, luckily, her sister was quick to think of a way to change the subject to make the situation less awkward.
The fact that some music had started playing nearby was a rather helpful distraction and Raabi'a couldn't help but dance in place a litte, it looked like her sister was doing the same.
At La'eohn's invitation Raabi'a almost jumped to her feet. "Sure!" she cheered as she took his hand and waited for her sister to take the other one before heading a way from the bench so they wouldn't hit it while dancing.
Valko nodded when Hatil asked him to hit her in the head if she started to act funny to make her go back to normal. "Okay." He responded seriously, not realizing that the other was joking.
Feeling a p***k on his arm Valko instinctively swatted at it, only to find nothing there when he looked, shrugging he turned back to his friend.
He felt almost dazed when he looked at Hatil, she was so close, and pretty, he had noticed it before but now he got a warm feeling when he looked at her. His heart seemed to swell and flutter when he looked at her. Hatil was so great, she was a good hunter, and a good friend and she could pick out the best meats. MEAT! Yes he had some still, suddenly Valko pushed a couple pieces of his pork onto Hatils plate and tossed one for her to catch if she wanted to. "For you!" He seemed almost a bit too eager to share the food he usually hoarded, but Hatil deserved good food, Hatil was the best.
Daisicle I'm not sure he realizes he's in love xD

Iordanes was halfway back to his Serendipity when he was accosted by Harmonia--who looked quite dapper as a male, he had to admit--with her (his?) consort in tow. Harmonia looked furious.
"You look well," he quipped, then shrugged only half-apologetically. As he explained himself, he stole glances at Serendipity every so often. He was drawn to her as by a magnet--which was simultaneously infuriating and utterly wonderful. He couldn't wait to get back to her, gather her in his arms, and press her to him.
"Look, I can understand you aren't thrilled about this, but you can squarely blame Mother's oaf of a fiancé--he hit me with one of his arrows and threw off my aim." He left out that he'd been aiming for Harmonia's consort in the first place. "I was considerate enough to change your mortal, too, in case the two of you decided to make a night of it."
Iordanes glanced over at Serendipity--she was so beautiful and so far away. He groaned impatiently. "Be thankful that my magic only changes your form and not clouds your mind. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am under the spell of that dazzling mortal over there." He gestured to Serendipity and took his leave of the pair.
He smiled at Serendipity as he neared her, and when he got close enough he gathered her into his arms, kissing her deeply. "My duties are completed," he said. "You're mine now."

Harlequin was startled as lightening cracked, he glanced out the window watching it storm. After a bit he steepled his fingers together and lightly rested them on his mouth. It seemed he was thinking about something, what it was no one knows. He guessed that the drastic weather change was normal for these kind of parties, so he shrugged it off and continued thinking.

Lagoon looked at Paloma when she laughed, Paloma had no idea how serious she actually was. She gave Paloma a polite smile at first, but the glance she gave the female suddenly softened. Lagoon couldn't believe it was happening, but somehow it made sense to her, she was falling in love. No, she was already there. "No, I'm afraid my village is just an empty shell without you in it." Lagoon said, completely lost in Paloma's eyes. Her own gaze was filled with such longing and love for Paloma. The feeling was so strange and unfamiliar to her, but because it was so strange and unfamiliar there couldn't be a doubt about what it was. She couldn't know if Paloma even felt the same way, but suddenly she felt so bold about her feelings for the fae. Lagoon chugged a bit of her drink, the liquid courage that was in front of her, she had to let her feelings be known before she exploded. "I've only known you for so long, but I can't imagine my life without you."

"Your world sounds so very different from ours," Cabel murmured. Paths lit by glowing algae? How strange. Yet, to her, the glowing torch was the strange thing. "I wonder if there's some way...I don't know of any, but it might be interesting to see your world underwater some day.."
The Fae trailed off, taking in the party situation at a glance. "Perhaps...we find a quieter corner?" he suggested warily, watching the chase unfold. It was a relief to see the party hostess' arrival settle whatever dispute had been going on. Then more and more strange guests kept arriving. Just what sort of party was this? Keeping an eye on the strange company, Cabel subtly tried to guide Zinerva towards an out of the way refreshment table, laden with cups filled from a bowl of icy water with bits of fruit floating in it. Could they just have a nice, quiet time, perhaps? "How about some water, Zin?"
***** Seiya took Nimue's hand and followed her to one of the heart-shaped tubs. The water was comfortably warm and a tiki hurried by to offer them more chilled drinks as they made themselves comfortable. Fortunately, the tub had seats set in the water so that when Seiya sat down, the water just came up to his chest. He could easily lean back and rest his elbows on the side and sip from his drink.
"A fantastic venue for dinner and a show," he agreed, smiling at the female Fae as she joined him in the water. A tiny n** on his shoulder was a momentary distraction that he wrote off as some sort of nighttime insect, returning his focus to Nimue. The way the water's reflection of light danced over her smooth skin; the lovely curve of her hip; the shining glimmer of starlight in her eyes...
Starlight.
Was this the guidance of the stars at work once more?
Never had he felt himself so attracted to another. Suddenly, all he could focus on was Nimue, how much he wanted her close to him, to reach out feel the warmth of her skin. She was just...so desirable. He waited until she took a seat, then without further hesitation, moved closer to wrap one of his arms around her shoulders. He did it as if it was the most natural thing in the world, even though he couldn't recall ever doing so before.

Grateful, the urge to spill her darkest thoughts ebbed, and was completely gone when he'd taken the rope all the way off. That rope was evil. Eeeevil. "Th-thank you." She was still flexing, but it wasn't against a rope anymore. The fauny hugged her other half, smiling. And then flexing again. What was wrong with her?
She hid her face in his chest, amazed again at how tall he was. Sweetie couldn't believe how much of a relief it was for that rope to be off. The urge to blurt out the question she'd been thinking about for ages, it was completely gone. "Want to dance?" She suggested, trying not to think about her slip. Maybe they could drop that subject, for at least a little while...

Venus kept a straight face as Persephone disregarded her for the bird. She sighed heavily wondering what it was her companion's sibling was doing. Which one was it again? Lily? Something like that. She'd have to have a talking to this harpy-
A single eye brow perked up. A present, huh? Alright, she'd be allowed to continue if a present was involved, "I do hope it's not coming through that portal." It was probably too much to hope for. She just had to get her portal ick on everything.
A pleased look came over her face as Adonis came forth. She produced her hand for him to take, looking rather smug as he kissed it. She took the opportunity to brush him off, hopefully removing any lasting bits from the portal, underworld, and her. At his kiss the brushing might have turned into a bit more feeling-
"Yes, it quite is. It's been so droll in here." her eyes didn't hesitate to land on Persephone. "Enjoy yourself, love." she let him go, taking a moment to admire him from behind.
She tore her eyes from his delightful body in order to finish up the business before her. She needed to return this party to its once beautiful state. "Is there anything else you wanted? Otherwise, you're free to go."

The wind grew so powerful the howling could now be heard within the party hall. In the distance, thunder was heard rolling until it grew more powerful and happened more frequently. The lights in the room were flickering, having a harder time staying on. It didn't go unnoticed, but our dear hosts were trying desperately to ignore it. A nasty storm wasn't loving!

If she'd ever asked him to explain what it was of her that captivated him, it would have been near impossible to put it into discernible words. Perhaps it was her shyness and self-doubt, which made it all too easy to poke fun at and embarrass her... Or perhaps it was how delightfully adorable she acted in this embarrassment, or how she had come to open up to him bit-by-bit and rely on him, if only a bit...?
Did it really matter why though?
Running his had through those flowing locks of hers, he offered a smile and glanced back to the surface. "Want to return up? Surely I could trouble you for a dance or two..." his voice dragged on as the lights flickering outside became apparent under the water, his smile fading as he more intensely looked up. While he couldn't hear the wind due to the water's noise-dampening effects, something was clearly off.Menelie [ Pool (left)] Hjortur -> Kelebek [Arrow Effect: EROS - LOVE (JEAN)]  Saira seemed to almost be physically restraining herself in an attempt to not gawk at how absurd Jean's statement sounded to her, a look of mild contempt the only thing showing past her otherwise excited exterior. "I doubt it would make much of a difference. Frankly..." she continued, motioning to the ample decor lining the hall, "...this place is so tacky I'd've a mind to help with toning it down myself if she'd (Phaenna) hadn't already done so."
Turning back away from him, she smiled and sipped on her drink as she watched the events with Persephone, the furies, and Adonis unveil, mild interest apparent in her gaze.
At the feeling of some mosquito (or similar bug) biting upon her rear end, the bird flinched and looked back as her hand slapped upon the bothered area. She brought her hand up, brows furrowing at the lack of insect before she moved to resume her watching. In doing so, her eyes passed over Jean.
And her heart fluttered~
A not entirely uncomfortable feeling; quite pleasant actually. Hmmm... Cheeks flushing, she looked back at him, her heart's rhythm once more excited as he noticed her. She was a flurry of new emotion, and she liked it.
Offering a smile, she moved to make room in the cushion upon which she sat before motioning for him to join her.[Arrow Effect: N/A]  Hatil offered an almost-smug smile as she gave Valko the thumbs up when he agreed to her idea, thoroughly serious in her idea. If he started acting too strange, she would not hesitate to literally smack some sense back into him.
She brought her legs to her chest and tilted her head at him as he swatted, her keen vision having not caught sight of anything. "Bug...?" Had to be, from the look of it.
If she was smarter, she might have been able to connect the bug bite to his immediately more-open behavior.
As it was, though, Hatil was instead super surprised and thrilled to be offered such delectable treats. Nearly cooing in happiness, she graciously accepted the rest of is pork and, as the last piece was tossed her way, she lifted her chin up to catch it mid-flight. Her cheeks puffed out as she once more opened her mouth to take the rest of it in, moving as she chewed with a childish smile on her face. As she did so, her chest rose up and down in silent laughs and she leaned her shoulder against him to copy his gracious behavior by giving him what beef she still had left.
"For you too!"
Being as she was, she took notice of the flickering lights and howling wind, but was generally unconcerned. After all, she was safe in a sheltered area with warmth, food, and her best friend. No worries. Laughing, Aisha was quick to follow suite; she rather liked a man who could take the initiative when prompted.
"Of course.~" she replied in an almost sing-song voice, her leg crossing behind her in a playful curtsy before actually taking his hand into hers. She let him and her sister lead her to wherever they wished to move around, content to just follow on such pleasant occasions. Her eyes drifted across the way to the various shenanigans that appeared to be occurring, mildly uninterested in any of them. They didn't directly involve her, after all, and they didn't even appear to be all that amusing.
At the sound of thunder, she jumped, her hand squeezing La'eohn's more tightly as she looked for the source. It hadn't looked like it would rain earlier. Truth be told, she wasn't the greatest fans of storms...
Her sister would easily be able to notice the strained feel of her smile and the way her eyes seemed to nervously look about the room, even if she otherwise appeared unbothered.shadica [ Pool Edge -> Dancefloor] Aisha -> Raabi'a Seruta [ Pool Edge -> Dancefloor] Aisha -> La'eohn Daisicle (Pg.33) [Arrow Effect: N/A]  "Heck if I know," he replied with a shrug, his tail swishing behind him. Thankfully, in a place like this, there was little reason for the others to pay him much heed for his rather 'unique' look. It was a refreshing reprise from what had become of his daily life in the city, where suspicion over his features had caused a reduction in the number of traders willing to do business with him. Even if she hadn't mentioned it, he was sure Aquarious was facing similar discrimination because of her association with him.
She was much too kind to blame him, even if it would have made him feel better to be called out on it.
His whiskers twitched and he turned, an arm protectively extended to shield Aquarious from any of the mayhem that may have been occurring, as a myriad of events began to unfold: the siblings' fight, Venus' entrance, and that of Persephone and the furies. Everything was very much a whirlwind of events, and he worried on how comfortable Aquarious might be feeling as a result. Leaning closer to her, he spoke softly. Dysmas was disappointed when Sweetie flexed again, not that she had ever really stopped before, it was just sort of hidden beneath the rope. He hugged Sweetie back, it was the strangest hug they had ever shared, her body was all tense and flexed beneath his arms. He didn't like it, but he knew right now she really needed to be held. "Dance? Sure." He still really wanted to know what he had signed himself up for, but she had changed the subject so quickly he wasn't going to push it, at least for the moment. Before they went to bed, he was going to find out what he had unknowingly said yes to. As he led Sweetie out to the dance floor the lights began to flicker even more, and he was hearing a lot more of the storm too. "Wow, it sounds like it's getting pretty bad out there..." He mentioned as they danced, trying to ignore all the flexing she was doing beneath his arms.
